I always roll as Body type 2. 1 is too anorexic for me. 3 is what I call the Amazonian chick. And 4 is way too much butt and **** for me. I prefer 'average' athletic, or whatever 2 would be.

Same with men. 2 all the way. On Vette, 1 looks good and 3 looks fine on Pierce. But Garza has body 4 and is just way too chunky for my liking.

thats why we got a choice.. me a personally love the T&A my BT4 gives my agent, while the amazoness 3 fits my BH. i went with 2 for my smug cause 1 is too skinny, but shes named after a mythical fox, so i wanted her sleeker than her curvy momma.

as for garza.... if i have her kind of frame at her age... i'm gonna be a happy old lady

Also to the OP, I've noticed a few other NPC females with a type 3 body. Darth Synar on Belsavis, and the another Sith woman that gives the Empire Nar Shaddaa bonus series.

I saw an NPC body 3 just last night. On Empire side Balmorra, the guy who asks you to escort his wife and then discretely kill her...the wife is a body type 3. There is body type 3 sith standing outside "the wall" near Grathan's estate on Dromund Kaas as well. She's got a bare midriff and she gives out a heroic 2 quest. That's all I can recall having seen myself.

Add to these a female officer in the Sith Warrior Belsavis line. We seem heavily biased toward the Empire here...does any Republic NPC other than Akaavi Spar do body type 3, or does only the Evil Empire have 'em?

Speaking of elusive body types, I've never seen a player with male body type 1. Not even one.

Wow...now that I think of it...my Agent is male body type 1, but I don't immediately recall seeing anybody else like him around.

The female mandalorian commander you meet in the jungle on Dromund Kaas during the Revanite series is a body type 3 also, the first one i recall meeting.

Personnally, the only type I can bare to see for my toons is the body type 2. The others feels unreasonable for various reasons although I very much enjoy meeting NPCs and other PCs using them.

EDIT: Something even more strange that I notice however is the largely unused Miraluka species... I only recall meeting 1 Miraluka NPC on Tatooine, Rep side.

Ceta Farr. Anyone know who her VA is? Reminds me a bit of Jennifer Hale, but I couldn't say it was her with certainty.

Many of my characters are BT3 - my primary agent (Jan'neria, the one in my sig), my JK, my SW, my BH, and my Trooper all have that BT. My SI has BT4, and I think my JC and secondary IA are both BT2. (Did I mention they're all Chiss? Gotta love big blue women! ;))

You know, you're right, I can't recall running into one miraluka npc. My baby toonlet JC is a miraluka (she looks like she stepped out of the Matrix), and I've seen a few players with it, but no npcs. Thinking...thinking...there may have been one on Hoth??? A side quest during the rep bonus series....argh memory not working correctly. Need more coffee....

There's a 14 year old boy in my guild who uses male BT1. The kid's annoying as hell, but I kind of love him for picking that.

I like BTs 2 and 4 for my female characters. I use BT1 for my Assassin, but she's supposed to be withered and evil, emaciated from days spent plotting and laughing maniacally and nothing else. I don't like 3, but only because I don't like playing huge characters, male or female.

Also a big fan of the boring BT2 for men. I spend a lot of time in conversations staring at my Marauder's leather-clad behind.

Laughing maniacally is very good for keeping the weight off, I hear.

I wasn't too impressed by the female body type 3 at first. But then I decided to try Corso's new gear on Akaavi Spar, and let's just say it is hers now. ;) That muscular figure of hers looks ten kinds of awesome decked out in a nice set of heavy armor!

All my characters so far are on type 1 bodies though. Including my (male) Sith Juggernaut, who is tank spec'd. :p

My main in male body type 1, and I've seen a few other people with it around.

As for female body type 3, I have a level 4 bounty hunter that has it, but that's all. I'm not a huge fan of playing bulky characters, male or female. In fact, I loath the male body type 3, I can't play with it. >.<

I too like playing uncommon body types. And anyway, I LOVE female body type 3. My vanguard, powertech, and juggernaut all have it. It looks a little weird in starting gear, but looks GREAT in heavy armor once you start leveling up (think 20's gear). Hoods and helmets also help not making the shoulders too wide. It works great for the trooper and bounty hunter voices, especially.

Anyway, one other NPC in the game that I know of is the companion "Akaavi Spar" for smuggler, who you get in Balmorra. It fits her well.

Hmm when I get the chance I'll post a couple of my fem body type 3 characters.

All my female characters are on an RP server and they use BT2 except my Inquisitor who, for roleplay purposes, is 16 and uses BT1.

All my male characters use BT2 as well except my Trooper and Warrior who use BT3. Even though they are on a regular PvE server, I still go about the RP head canon with them.

Female 3's look ridiculous to me, like don't matter had snu-snu kind of way. And female 4's I want to pop with a pin and let the air out. I'm afraid male 1's will snap in half on the battlefield and male 4's are just... no. I want to have a neck, thanks.

How do you take screen shots without the interface?

My husband has a couple of body 1 guys, as well as body 4s. I'm pretty sure he just smashes the random button until he sees one he thinks is funny...

Sounds like my husband. I swear he scrolls through them all until he finds either the funniest - OR ugliest char that he can possibly have. Why can't he just be sensible in the character creation screen I will never know. For me, it takes me ages to make one because it has to be exactly the way I want it.

I chose type 3 for my female Guardian because Bioware had the bright idea to scale weapon size based on body type.

The bigger you are, the bigger your lightsaber is.

Have you seen male body type 3 wielding a single lightsaber? They look like they wield huge-*** claymores!

Unfortunately female body type 3's lightsaber is only as big as male body type 2, which is still a bit too short for my tastes.

I'm exactly the same way. I even play right up to getting the ship, and then sometimes start again because my character doesn't look 'just right'.

I'm way to picky sometimes. o_O

I tried to use body 3. It just looks over-pumped ridiculous to me (knowing that's just my opinion). I also saw someone leveling with their Akaavi in the slave gear... and that just reinforced it. I can't even really bring myself to use body 1. I'd rather them tone down the bodybuilder look and just leave them more muscled than a body 2 and tall, but not HULK SMASH!

I -would- consider using fem!body 4 if the arms didn't look like they belonged on body 1...

(Body 4 on males, every time I see a body 4 I think "ALL THE CAKES!!!")

I generally play body type 2, well, because I identify with that body type, even though I'm somewhere between a 2 and a 4. However, this weekend I created a trooper. I had to remake her as a three because her voice did not fit with a 2.

(Personal opinion 1=teen, 2=average, 3=amazon, and 4= ... um, exotic? Not sure how else to describe her, but this thread isn't about 4, (and no, she's not fat).)

Now my only issue is that so many of the trooper voice responses come across as stereotypical brainless jarhead. (With all respect to any and all Marines, please note I did state it was stereotypical.)

My trooper is beautiful. In my head she is also highly intelligent. She didn't get to where she is just because she's willing to kill and does so with a minimum use of ammo. I just wish that the conversation options reflected this.

This is my trooper.
