Patch 1.4 What do you want?

Chapter 4 would be the biggest thing to shock life back into the game - I just can't see it happening. I mean, for god sake when they had a third more developers hanging around they were struggling to release basic tools with months and months of development - the idea of a smaller team at BW scripting, programming, producing, editing and testing a real chapter 4 of content any time soon... Yeah, I just, can't, imagine.

 

Failing that, making the end-game not horrible would be good. Or real PvP. Or real crafting. Or a space game that resembles something that might have been developed within the past 10 years. Or fun and games in the cantinas, casinos, fleets, etc. it's hard to pick because everything needs work, aside from the class story, which is the only really great part of the game by and large.

 

Yeah, Chapter 4 is more likely for 1.5.

I would say its more likely for an expansion along with a new level cap - I just don't see them adding that much stuff in a single patch.

 

A new level cap would surprise me, actually. I figured it'd be level 50 solo content. Now, they might introduce a new Legacy level cap, though.

Let's see: (in no particular order)

 

Hide companion head slots;

Pazaak (other mini games too, but Pazaak is my favourite);

More variety in space missions - not too bothered about off-rails space combat, the way it is now works fine for me.

SGRAs - not getting into a debate here, OP asked what we wanted, I'm answering;

A way to have companions send items to storage/set quality of items to sell to vendor;

Music, music, music - on a loop, the sound effects are nice, but the background music is better :D

A way to separate the voice change from the hide helmet function - it's odd, and annoying to hear a metallic muffled voice coming out of an open-faced helmet - chinstraps are not voice-changers ^^

 

Can't really think of much more that bothers me :cool:

New game engine that's not a complete POS. Also for everyone currently involved in development, management and CS/CR to be fired and replaced with people who know what the F they're doing.

Seen that series many years ago called VR-5 or something like that? Some chick puts on some glasses with screens in them which makes her mind enter the world like the matrix, that's what I want in 1.4.

In no particular order . . .

 

- Revamp of social points system to reward social points in a more sensible manner

- More social gear (and no more single-gender social gear!)

- Schematics for orange versions of existing green/blue armors, plus recolors

- Hood toggle

- Hide head slot & match to chest for Companions

- Group content that lets each player bring a Companion

- Same gender romance options

- In-game salon with a few additional exclusive hair styles/etc

- More colors for lightsaber crystals (not just endgame)

- Sitting in chairs

- /liedown or /sleep emote that has an actual animation

- Ability to choose which WZ(s) to que for

- A shared bank tab between characters

- SW and BH tattoos + Inquisitor brands unlockable for other classes

- Make status effects easier for healers to see/identify

 

Kinda random, but it'd be nice to see at least a few of these in the not-too-distant future. :)

no SGRA not for a loooong time they have yet to adress:

-story on rails

-PVP

-PVE

-lack of dynamic world changing content.

-that theoreticly you could play this game as if it were a single player game.

-lack of THE place to be.

that whoever did the the networking logic for this game-yeah that needs work--it's badly optimized.

-hell yeah i'd do Vr4 on this game if:

it had graphics of at least mass effect weight, feel, size and quality.

more stuff to do-more nooks and cranies.

I want to see:

* PVP without gear gaps, thereby changing the key success factors in PVP from being 'time played + skill' to just 'skill' alone. Please at least consider this for tournaments.

* Faster base XP to level through PVP - 15,000 xp for a win isn't enough at level 47. I have over 250 PVP wins and still haven't hit 50. Queue time really slows down the levelling through PVP process. I know 1.3 legacy will change things, but the base rate shouldn't have to be augmented through credits. I shouldn't have to play my level 50 to farm credits for an alt when I just want to pvp.

* Let other players inspect our wins, but allow us to keep the losses as a personal stat with the ability to toggle the loss stat's visibility to the public/guild.

* More PVP stat tracking!

There are a few things id like to see:

One is making it so you can have a beginning and ending title. Eg: Darth _________ The merciless, normally those two are separate titles. Having an option to combine them would be nice.

 

Expanded companion content, i have 10k affec on all companions on my main, id like to talk to my crew again.

 

A new Wz, maybe mass scale (yes like a wow 40 man pvp wz), maybe a 16 Wz that is assault style or somthing idk.

 

A new companion, whether its the rumored HK-51 (if he is not 1.3) or its a new one pertaining to class quests like the rest....speaking of class quests i want to see more of them. or maybe class dailies: Eg, im a sith warrior, so maybe the emporers decree? Sending you back to a random warrior instanced zone (one you have been to or somthing) and you need to kill _____ Npc. idk how it would work on other classes but that would be cool.

 

Some solo endgame content would be nice, like solo flash points restricted to One character. The "Bosses" would be about as difficult to defeat as your final class boss. Killing them gets you gear around the same lvl as HMs, maybe a little worse.

 

These are just some ideas...

This is something that I would love to see come about.

 

- Ability to buy a house (planet specific) and build onto that house different mods/extensions/visuals etc.

- Guild owned property (such as a republic tower/jedi/sith temple/Hutt Palace) that can be moded as above

and guild members can purchase a doorway link to the guild property if on the same planet.

- As a personal or guild building is moded it increases in level which increases the benefits of having it.

- If a guild gets their structure to a certain level they can create a new structure on another planet which

benefits members by allowing quick travel between planets.

- Continually increase the number of emotes, but add actual animations to them as well.

- Ability to choose which WZ(s) to que for

- A shared bank tab between characters

- More ability to opersonalize you ship (not just through Legacy system)

- Animal mounts like Nexu or dewbacks

Not just a new Operation, but a new Operation that is a tougher challenge on Hard mode than Hard mode EC, and a really significant challenge on Nightmare. The challenge should come from complex mechanics that require teamwork while also requiring high levels of individual play (DPS, HPS, threat, etc.). Give us content that takes months to clear, rather than weeks. I would love an end boss that takes hundreds of attempts for most groups to get down and represents a significant accomplishment. I realize some people will always clear through content quickly and demand more, but right now a lot of guilds are starving for challenging content.
