  1. So, is it still the case that we can't romance Jaesse as light sith? What if you go dark after meeting her?
  2. You're stuck up on pre-CU. Jedi was a starting profession in the NGE. Pre-CU sucked, CU was OK, the NGE started to get good before it shut down to make room for TOR. "SWG type of game" does not mean a carbon copy.
  3. Take EP 7, 8, 9 setting, SWG type of game with modern Frotbite bells/whistes and some Bioware story to drive it all and you got a SW game worthy of the next 7 years of license.
  4. but after a while I realized all other MMOs suck *** compared to TOR It certainly has it's flaws (too linear and too themepark) but really, there's nothing else that's worth my time so I just as well resubbed. We'll see how ESO turns out next Christmas
  5. Is that all the forum can come up with these days? (not directed at you personally) Then ADD MORE land, it's really easy and cheap compared to voiced content, just copy paste some land with some random here and there, make sandbox systems, win. It only needs the systems, a framework for players to work with and they'll generate their own content. TOR's got the leveling and themepark content sorted in bucketloads, it just needs sandbox at end-game to diversify itself and enable other content than FP/OP/WZ treadmill.
  6. Lol, while I agree SWG is dead and buried and it was an overall mediocre game, one of the things it did very well was sandbox content, I think TOR could benefit much from some sandbox content at end-game, something else than re-running FPs and OPs (I don't PvP), some systems I'd love to see in TOR is: - New areas with conquestable land where we can build outposts, houses, structures etc, separate PvE and PvP areas with appropriate resource income from controlling the land, this can extent to colonies on asteroids/moons. The idea here is to keep it separate form the current land but still relevant, would need a health mix of non-instanced and instanced (like non instanced outpost with instanced street numbers "Fury Road 23") - Bio-engineering of creatures, pets and such from collecting DNA from the wild, where we can chose appearance, distribution of stats and chance for mutations (yes that was i SWG and it was good), would need a lab set in an outpost due to restrictions by the empire and republic on genetic manupulations - More extensive alternate crew skils tied into the sandbox systems, something deep and complex but not spreadsheet deep The key point here is to enhance the already good themepark content, it is very good and fun, but alone it can get very repetitive, these suggestions would add alot of depth and fun to TOR in my opinion.
  7. It certainly looks interesting, I'll be looking forward to more info on what it actually is!
  8. Just wanted to put it out there to offset some of the "I canceled", "TOR is d00med" threads, still a great game with much potential, wish I had more time to play Keep doing the good stuff BW! ps: BW please add some sandbox content, especially at end-game.
  9. Lol, yeah it was one of the things SWG did right, pet taming, pet DNA manipulation and of course the crafting. God I wish TOR could have copied those systems, instead of this boring static handing out of identical pets, pets for commendations and pets void of any interaction. Edit: I want a pet bantha and acklay, pretty plox.
  10. Thanks for the info and list OP. I really like lists
  11. I really want to list all the high level things that annoy me, but since the thread is about "paper cuts" then I will restrain myself to easily fixable things. - When opening the crew skills window, I always have to sort by level before I can start to do anything since it's automatically sorted by rating, which is useless most of the time. Every. Single. Time. - I often find myself aborting cut scenes and dialogue to maximize my companion affection, while it is effective it really takes away from the immersion, the music, the mood of the entire dialogue, I want a slight color on the wheel choice which will affect my current companion, kinda like dark/light but not so glaring. That way I can enjoy the whole scene a lot more. - Auto stack button/something of inventory and bank - Ability to hide crew skills recipes, it's starting to become quite a long list to scroll through, what about collapsed list by default? - And I want to emphasize the need of some legacy storage and credit transfer - Managing your sales via another tab on the GTN, using the mail is horribly inefficient and some times makes me want to Alt+F4 instead of using the GTN. Let us have a "stockroom" where expired items go, have sales history, can relist items with same/new price, right click menu option to search for that item with all the details automatically filled in (name, category etc) - Right click to search for an item should work from inventory (right click when you browse = auto filled in details, right click when you have sales tab = sell as it is now) - Customizable speeder like we can customize our star ship components, with things like stronger knock down resistance, more speed, higher jump distance, new set of grills and other appearance.
  12. Yeah, too bad BW will ignore it, or maybe in 12 months we'll see something about customizable speeders.
  13. Give the story and good content for free, take a fee for the boring stuff, makes sense (I consider the current end-game as a boring treadmill). As a "casual player", I don't do OPs since they all skip the story, PvP is meaningless, only use a few characters, can't afford more storage space anyway so F2P is looking to be quite OK for me The problem is I think there are quite alot of people with my situation, if so then the income to BW might not be good which means less quality content (story) I enjoy in the long run. And please, don't even start with the "then you should sub to support BW", that's not how it works.
  14. This is outrageous I demand maintenance!
