  1. Hey everyone, I need help. I have done two flashpoints with my sorc and all the loot I'm receiving is defense relics only. I'm Dps, how can I change it so that I start receiving the correct loot? I keep hearing players saying that I need to right-click on my portrait and change it, but when I right-click all I see is additional commands: inspect guild, mission difficulty preference: story, veteran, master and toggle PVP focus. Please help.
  2. Oh, I did a forum search and found that post. The problem is that particular discord channel is empty. I was looking to see if there is one specific for ops for this server.
  3. Is there a discord channel for operations?
  4. What happened to this armor set? why is it no longer for purchase in the cartel market?
  5. Nope, never got the flirt option and I've been flirting with her since shadow of revan.
  6. At chapter 9 it won't give me the option to lock romance with her by choosing the flirt option. I didn't realize this up until finishing KOTFE. Is there a way to fix this? I haven't started Knights of eternal throne yet.
  7. I just discovered that I have this problem as well. Can I restart Knights of the fallen on veteran mode and get to romance her?
  8. Hey guys, Long story short, when I got to chapter 9 I tried to lock my romance option with Lana beniko, but instead it gave a different option. Is there a guide to romance the character? I've been flirting with her since shadow of revan and is really frustrating that all that time invested in her is lost. Can I get her as a romance companion if I start knights of the fallen empire in veteran mode?
  9. I'm not justifying anything, I let statistics speak for themselves and it is not a threat of leaving but an actual fact. Tell me something have you notice how much people are on your sever recently? Can you tell me how many people form new guilds as of recently? And out of those guilds, how many they take on the task on saving for a guild capital ship so that they can compete in conquests with the hopes of conquering a sector? If things are working the right way, this game would be seeing more active subscriptions monthly, but the sad fact is that this game is declining. The only reason they got a boost in subscription between November and probably till now is because Star wars episode 7, not because the game is so great that is compelling old players to come back and new players to come in. Now you keep repeating the words "Now" and "Little cost as possible" which is proves that out of everything I wrote you only read want you wanted to read and didn't made the "effort" to analyze what I'm trying to suggest. What makes it worst is that you don't even provide a solution or your own idea, but a fail attempt to criticize someone's perceptive in the most rude way. You have your perspective I have mine, let Bioware sort the rest with how many active accounts they manage keep at the end of each month.
  10. And this is the reason why people keep leaving the game. I'm not saying that Bioware should make it so easy anyone can do It. I agree with you that with enough effort players can earn 50mil, but what about expanding the ship and fully upgrading it? do you think the current capital ship can be fully upgraded with lets say around 6 to 8 players? Maybe, but it will take them a long time to do so. Take under consideration that other games come out and people move on while this game keeps dying. The only reason this game is still around is because its Star Wars and people keep leaving. All I'm saying is that Bioware needs to work with all types of players and all types of guilds not just the hardcore ones that have enough time in their hands to devote to this game.
  11. The problem is how the computer matches players, not premades.
  12. I have to agree and disagree with you. I have to agree that nothing is impossible if you set a goal and work for it. However, you have to consider that not all of us have the time to dedicate towards such a task. I'm engaged, plus work 40 hrs a week and college student. I play swtor to have fun and have a stress reliever aside from the gym. I don't have the time to make this game a life and like me are many people in the same situation.
  13. The way devs need to change it so that every player enjoy themselves is: 1) By player level: Level 50 should play with 50 and 65 with 65. 2) By gear: The computer will match you depending on your gear with other players of the same competitive gear. 3) By Rank: Ranked players will be match with other players of the same competitive rank. 4) By guild: guilds and groups that queue together will be matched against other guilds/groups. The idea behind pvp warzones, ranked and unranked is for players to compete and have fun. *Not older experience players with full set of pvp gear queuing in groups, terrorizing newbies, humiliating, bullying them while showing superiority. This creates an unhealthy environment which makes other players not to partake in pvp.*
  14. First let me just say that I love what you have done so far. When I left swtor there was little content and now swtor has grown. However, there is still room for improvements and there are things I feel the game needs to attract more players in a cost efficient way. 1) Revamp conquest: Problem: Conquest as it is right now, is only enjoyable by large guilds. Small guilds have no incentive to compete because they don't have a chance to win and conquer a sector. Its should still work that way it currently is, but devs needs to revamp it towards a more faction oriented activity and not a single guild. Here is conquest as it currently works: http://dulfy.net/2014/08/07/swtor-planetary-conquests-guide/ Solution: Make the whole planets conquerable. Instead of one guild conquering multiple sector on a planet, reduce the amount of sectors to 3. In order to conquer a full planet, both factions will need to hold all 3 sectors simultaneously. These 3 sectors will be really hard and challenging for only one guild to take control of them at the same time, thus allowing for every guild that wants to participate, whether is large, medium and small, to partake in the daunting task to control and conquer a planet. After all, the task of controlling and conquering a planet should be a whole faction effort, not just one large powerful guild. The 3 large sectors will the each faction spaceport and a central planetary command hq on the center of the planet. Example: Let’s take the planet Tatooine, sector one for the republic will be Anchorhead spaceport, sector two for the empire will be Mos Ila, sector 3 will be a central planetary command hq that can be located in any area of the map determined by devs. There is no order which sector needs to be controlled first. However, in order to take control of the planet, you need all 3. Participating in planetary conquest comes with rewards. Example: If the Empire controls Mos Ila, every Sith/imperial player of participating guilds , will receive options to call for troop squad support and mobile at-st to travel around the area of Mos Ila. Bonuses only work on the sector your faction controls. Once a faction conquers the whole planet, then they will be allowed to use those bonuses and more around the whole planet. I mentioned before that only participating guilds will receive conquest bonuses. What I mean by this is the following, there are only two major factions in this game that players can join, the empire and the republic. It doesn't matter if you do pvp, pve or just a craftier, you are part of that faction and represent it. However, just like the problem we are having now that only large guild are reaping the benefits of conquest, we will be facing the same problem if we allow the whole faction to benefit from the hard work of those that participate in conquest. Therefore, in order for guilds to qualify for conquest rewards and you need is one player representing your guild. All it requires if for that players to do the missions and participate in controlling sectors. Bonuses and incentives for conquering planets: As part of the republic and the empire, you want to feel that your effort in the war matters. Therefore If you participated in conquering the planet, when you travel to that planet *If it still in your faction control*, conquering faction receives: 1) Troop squads support. You get an option to call in a squad of your faction troops to assist you and they will stay with you until death, dismissed or leave the planet. 2) Orbital support: if your guild has a capital ship, you receive options to planetary bombardment, call in fighter support or bombers surgical strike. 3) Travel in your own at-st vehicle. However, it’s only usable on that planet as long as your faction controls it. 4) Planetary conquest will also provide the same bonuses they currently provide for crafting, warzones, flaspoints and operations. Every planet is different towards the bonuses they offer. *Note: Troops squads support and orbital supports options will have a proper cooldown to avoid people abusing the bonuses.* *The idea behind towards bonuses is that the hard work of the wining faction gets rewarded properly and as I stated before, conquering a planet should be a faction effort and every guild that participates in conquest should be rewarded if the faction successfully conquers a planet.* Make conquest more roleplay oriented: The core philosophy of this game has always been the war between the empire and the republic. Therefore, conquest should be more roleplay oriented. Add a strategic command section on each faction’s fleet that will give players details of the status of the war in terms of how many planets the empire and the republic controls. Also it will alert players of each faction movements and which planets the opposing faction is trying to conquer. Just like with the rakghoul event, that we get to watch the news and alerts, it would work the same. Each faction will have a station in which they can watch the news and hear the status of the war. Also once a planet has been conquered will change towards that faction. Example: planets conquered by the empire will have troops patrolling in every city and buildings will adopt faction flags and decorations. Also capital ships will patrol the planets orbit and can be seen from every city in the skies. Just like in each faction core world. Guild capital ships: Problem: Currently capital ships are oriented towards large guilds and it is a daunting task to fully maximize them. Solution1: Give smaller guilds a smaller capital ship. Example: Darth Marr capital ship is twice samller that the Harrower-Class capital ship. Smaller guilds will be inclined to participate in conquest if they can purchase an affordable capital ship. Also allow guilds to change capital ships depending on their needs. Solution 2: Reduce the amount of resources available to maximize guild capital ship. The idea behind capital ship expansions and customization is to make it fun, Not impossible. Making it hard doesn't mean that will increase it's longevity. Unless it's a large guild all working together at the same time, smaller guilds will give up to try to maximize their ships. Regular gear and expertise gear Problem: Why have two set of gears?, I find it annoying that in order to play pve/pvp and be efficient in both, you have to have two set of gears. Solution: Bring back one set of gear like back when the game began. Simple is better, one set of gear that you can do both pvp and pve. Warzones Problem: Premades and experienced players being match with newbie players. This creates and unhealthy environment. New players always losing and being run over by better geared experience players. New players are ignoring and avoiding pvp for this reason. The idea behind pvp warzones, ranked and unranked is for players to compete and have fun. *Not older experience players with full set of pvp gear queuing in groups, terrorizing newbies, humiliating, bullying them while showing superiority. This creates an unhealthy environment which makes other players not to partake in pvp.* Solution: Change the computer parameter so that when players queue for warzones are match the following way: 1) By player level: Level 50 should play with 50 and 65 with 65. 2) By gear: The computer will match you depending on your gear with other players of the same competitive gear. 3) By Rank: Ranked players will be match with other players of the same competitive rank. 4) By guild: guilds and groups that queue together will be matched against other guilds/groups. *This is just the beginning, I will continue to add more ideas as I think of them. Feel free to give constructive criticism as long as it is accompanied by solutions or other ideas.*
  15. Nice to see that the general consensus is sin. I wanted to go sin from the beginning, but never had the chance. How is BH these days mercenary vs powertech?
  16. Are you guys and Sith/Empire guild oriented?
  17. I'm back playing swtor after 3 yrs and I want to use my free lvl 60 character on a pvp build. I already have a sith warrior jugger vengeance and a sorc lightning. I'm between sith assassin or operative, what is your take and why?
  18. Sup guys, I'm back playing swtor and my former guild is no longer playing. I'm looking for a Sith/Empire guild that focuses on pvp/pve/operations on a regular basis. I'm 35yrs old and I prefer to play with adults that are serious team players.
  19. *This is my personal perspective about the state of the game, if anyone doesn't like it it's fine, but respect my opinion and how I feel.* That aside this is my message to the developers of this game. Make this game a true Star Wars experience. Give the players that feel of living in a Star Wars mmo and not a single player experience with online option. This game have become a daily fest. All you do is log in, do your dailies and maybe if lucky an operation if there is enough people that want's to do them. Warzones were fun, but they are so repetitive that have become dull and boring. Also, also warzones have no impact on the story about the war between the Sith(empire) and the jedi(republic). The game is too restrictive even in pvp servers. Too many restrictions every where like not being able to world pvp on republic and imperial planets. Too many exhaustion zones on every planet, not being able to go where I want to go. I understand that this game is a theme park and not open world, but you guys don't have to make it so obvious with exhaustion zones everywhere on planets. Give guilds more importance. Add guild halls like sith and jedi enclaves, imperial and republic bases and strongholds on planets for open world pvp. Open world pvp is a joke. Look at what DCUO have done to keep players engaged in world pvp with their expansion "Home turf", read their description: " Buy Home Turf now and give your character their own Base! Plot adventures in your own customizable, themed Lair featuring useful amenities and hundreds of decorative items available in-game. Use the Lair’s new Mainframe to employ powerful combat tactics such as Orbital Strikes, Sidekicks and Supply Drops. Take the fight to your enemies in new Lair PvP Battles, fight through new high level encounters in Ace Chemicals, Arkham Asylum, Steelworks and Stryker’s Island, and more! Customize your own Lair! Employ powerful new combat tactics! Guard your turf in new Lair PvP Battles!" That is what this game needs among other things. Customize that idea into world pvp and you will see hardcore star wars pvp fans coming back into the game. Think about and when you do something useful with this game then I will consider subscribing again.
  20. Ok, let me put this in a different perspective so that you can understand my position. As of right now, Darth Marr is the "Only" hero left to make this faction playable and interesting. If the devs kill Darth Marr, there is no reason to play as part of the Sith faction (Story wise that is). The answer to your question is yes. The dev that determined that Malgus needed to die that early in game needs to get shot, lol.
  21. Disney is a love/hate attitude that differs from people and when you read tittles like "Once upon a time" you can't help but to think prince/princess lame stories. It's just my personal perception I didn't mean to offend you if you like the show or Disney for that matter. You are missing the point, a faction is as interesting as the hero's in it. if Bioware keeps killing the hero's like Malgus, no one will play the Sith empire faction. That's what this thread is about.
  22. You are missing the point and yes MMO has everything to do with it. Since this is a game and not a movie, devs need to extend the story as long as possible to keep both audiences interested. My statement, if you read and analyzed it carefully, is not amount the empire wining. We all know cannon wise the sith empire losses and Palpatine takes over the republic 3000 years later. However, this is about taking out key hero figure that will keep people wanting to play that faction.
