There Won't be 1.4 if they continue to work that way.

 

I do hope 1.4 will have :

Open PVP WORLD with daily achievement pretty much like a Warzone but live on a new planet.

MORE PVP Content : what about PVP Flashpoint Lolz that would be "Unique" or at least REMAKE ILLUM

a Finish illum with real "incitative".

Devlopper that really listen to customer and not stupid folks on "cocaine".

Evrything being cross server

Hoping the game is not dead before it come live or even becoming free........

OPEN WORLD PvP!!!! Objectives, missions, reason, purpose, variety!!!

 

This and delete the fleets that people sit afk in and make it a little more sandbox at least. and new races/species to pick from.

 

A healthy player base.

New WZ that is not something WoW already has. Big 40v40 or something of that scale would be nice.

Make Ilum worth going to.

Companion Marriages to show up in legacy.

More Legacy perks.

Player ships with the ability to change color/detail both inside and out.

Furniture that you can actually sit in.

Would be nice to have these features before 1.4 since I assume its not going to be released for quite some time, but here we go.

great ideas, my comments below

 

1. Ranked warzones

This is at the top of my list. From what I understand, it requires cross server queuing to go live otherwise the player pool for various ranks is too small for a reasonable queue time. I'd love to see BW give us a time frame for this happening (not a date, just something like "after 1.3 but before 1.4" or "as part of 1.4".

 

2. Dual spec

What I want instead of dual spec is

  • warzone config
  • PvE config

I want to wear my battlemaster gear and have my WZ stims and medpacs on my toolbar for WZ while I want to have my columi equipped when running flashpoints. It is tedious to switch back and forth between PvE and WZ setups. Give me a 1 click way to switch between the two.

 

Presumably by dual spec you mean the ability to switch between, say, a DPS spec and a tanking spec. Do you want to do this within a single flashpoint?

 

3. Free weekly/bi weekly transfers

On the surface, this seems like a great idea to me. It allows folks to sort out the population density problems themselves. I wonder what, if any, downsides there are to allowing this.

 

4. 2-3 more warzones

That'd be nice but it is quite low on my list. Getting ranked WZ fully implemented (e.g. for PUGs, not just 8-man teams) is far higher a priority (IMO).

11. Bug fixes !

Obviously BW will continue to work on this. While I would like to see fewer bugs, I think BW does a decent job and addressing urgent bugs quickly.

Its about time they did a bunch of QoL stuff. All the stuff they have been saying they will do next year cos its not important, cos they don't seem to realize that all the little things amounts to one big thing.

 

Hood toggle + Fix the Miraluka clipping issue

Companion helmet toggle

Ability to post custom stack sizes on the GTN

Make the speeders actually speedy.

Ability to choose WZ.

Pazaak in every cantina.

Choose music/music loop thing.

Barber shop

etc

 

And that's on top of new content.

Guild ship

New planet (Just hopeful)

More dailies that are interesting

New tier gear

More companion quests

New companions

New class (I know this won't be happening for a while but still)

A way to change my phaser from stun to kill.

 

Yeah for guild ships i was thinking-

how about WZ that two you could do as guild search/find said number of ppl to do that you use the guild ship say an imp and rep battlecruiser, all the individual players then get into their spaceships and fly off to attack the opposing factions player ships and battlecruiser

I was just thinking it wouldn't be a bad idea if the casino in Nar Shada was fully functional with tons slots and pazak. Nar Shada already looks like Vegas, make it in to a working Vegas SWTOR. It could be a lot of fun Gambling all my credits away.

- NEW DIRECTION IN PVP OPEN WORLD--- PLEASE ADD SANDBOX ELEMENTS TO THE WORLD'S. Why can't i go to a main base in tatooine or any other world to create conflict? isnt that the whole point of a MMO?? but yet there's no one on any of the planets.

I hope the devs read this, there are a lot of ppl complaining about these issues but its like no one is listening and if they continue to not listen then they are going to see this game fail. I have hope but its wearing thin so i hope things change for the better! that is all... I just want to live out my dream of a Dark Jedi opposed of the republic and independent of the EMPIRE. MAKE IT COME TRUE BIOWARE!

Hoods over helmets, /hoodup and /hooddown animations (pull your hood on or off), and a name changer.

 

EDIT: Also some new species. The ones that are already NPCs would require less work.

• instead of many empty servers, fewer mega servers (which also gets around the need for cross-server groups as far as I can see)

• cheaper legacy costs and more legacy options (e.g., legacy cargo hold, custom legacy connections via family tree etc.)

• more customisation for characters AND companions (e.g., colour unify, gear colouring, head slot toggle, hood toggle, sit down emote for players and their companions etc.)

• more character slots! (up to at least sixteen)

• same gender romances (though I'm willing to wait until 1.5 for these if necessary to have them done right this year)

• bug fixes (especially sound and the smart camera)

• in-game character editor (so you can alter your character's appearance without having to reroll)

• ability to change your character/legacy names

End Game

:sy_star: One key thing I've seen is players love level 1-50 because of the story but it seems to come to a screehing halt when you finish your class quest. Why? Why not include a bonus mission set with every new FP and OP you add that gives key back story and lore? Not only would this help the story but would give 50's more to do beside wait around in the fleet.

 

:sy_star:Streamline reward system is important. If i'm buying an item from a vendor, just go straight commendation, no key item or key item + commendation. Doesn't mean random drops from bosses are fun but instead of having them based on end game armor set how about having it based on the theme of the event? Karraga = Hutt based armor, Denova = Trandoshan. Also you don't just have to include just armor and weapons for end game rewards. Mounts, Schemautics, Companions, even new class abilities are on the table. Keep an open mind.

 

:sy_star:Butterfly Effect FP/OP would help dissolve the grind in that you have mulitple paths to the same goal. Take Black Talon for example: Kill the Captain and you head right, Captian lives and you head left. What ever happen to this concept?! It was good and alot of people raved that it stood out among other MMOs. You need to bring it back

 

Crafting

:sy_star: If you want to make crew skills worth while then you need to focus on the purpose and think outside of the box. I'm an armstech but what does that mean? I build and modify non force based weapons. What better way to modify weapons than provide a buff to players? Why not add abilities based on skills? A Sythweaver could provide a defense buff to player against force and lightsaber damage.

 

:sy_star:This kiinda of goes along with the butterfly effect but why not add mission skills to dialogue choices. If I'm dealing with say a Hutt, Underworld would provide another option that could add something new like reward or open a new path.

 

:sy_star:Oranges are gold. Every item style in the game needs to have a orange counterpart. Players love style choices. Along with this give crafter the ability to dye armor. We already have Unify so it shouldn't be hard to take the extra step.

 

:sy_star:Why can't players repair armor?

:sy_star:My point here is this would a very welcomed addition to the game because few MMO even bother. If I'm slicing a console make it interact, gathering a dna sample I want to push the right buttons to do it. PvP

:sy_star:More War Zones with new types. One idea I borrowed from CoD is Team Deathmatch confirmed kill. Bascially the team scores a point when they loot the corspe, confirming the kill. Another is like FFXIs Brenner. Bascially you obtain a key card and run it back to your turret, once active you have to defend the turret from the other team before they destroy it by bringing it's hp to 0.

 

:sy_star:Geonosis Arena that provides eaither 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4.

:sy_star:Open World PvP with a point and goal. Wintergrasp gave players xp bonus, unique vendors, and opend a dungeon for the victor. Not saying we need all of this but had some good ideas. Areas on different worlds like Outlaws Den would be cool but need to have variety of goals to win. Outlaw Den would have something to do with obtaining loot, Alderaan would be a seige on strong hold, Ilum is about controlling mining zones. Make level capped to the world so all player in that level can join. So level 50 players would have the stats of 26 on Tatooine. Also have it once per day per planet and last 30mins to an hour.

 

Space

:sy_star: If we are ever going to get a true space expansion it should be more like Rogue Squadron than JTL. It really a good way to bring flight based Star Wars into the MMO areana.

:sy_star:It should be story driven and objective based. Take Hammer Station. The group should first have to deal with the fighters around the station before they could ever land. Jedi Prisoner and Boarding Party have a massive space battle but the player never to get enjoy it.

This what I'm talking about. If heading into or getting away from a controlled space I should have to fight my way in or my way out of it.

- Expansion of the Legacy System

- More Warzones

- Ranked Warzones that have their difficulty increased from regular mode.

- Warzone Teams

- More developed dedicated open world PvP zones

- More rewards for participating in open world PvP (Valor, Merc Comms, etc.)

- More flashpoints. Give them all a level 50 hardmode and link them in a singular storyline.

- Revamp all lower level flashpoints with a level 50 hardmode to spice things up.

- At least one new operation.

- New, long single player story that could involve diplomacy and the state of the war or Revan.

- Update the Promenade, Dromund Kaas and Coruscant to be viable level 50 hubs, with a linked capital channel.

- Cross server warzone queueing

- Server Merges

- SOMETHING involving Darth Malgus

- A world event that has to do with the new single player instanced story mentioned before

- Make more variety. Tower defense, holo-chess, pazaak, sabaac, brawl areas like DDO, pod racing and score in space combat.

- Class daily missions

- More IMPACTFUL choices in stories and flashpoints.

- Character Re-Customization

- Loop Music option

One can dream can't he...

I want to see more playable species. Oh and I liked the idea to feel more heroic, beating 3 mods when its 2 vs 3 isn't actually that heroic, especially when I always fight 3 standard mobs, or 1 strong and 1 standard or etc.

Not sure they can do all this for 1.4 but good ideas especially the minigames. Love them all!

 

Now here's what I would look forward for 1.4 and beyond:

 

  1. PvE more end content/incentives
  2. World PvP: make all planets and zones accessible for everyone. At least on PvP servers
  3. Keep optimizing the engine

 

 

Quick wins, in no specific order:

  • Dual Specs
  • Pazaak
  • Separate last names from legacy names
  • Edit legacy name
  • Character specie change after character creation
  • Appearance tabs for players and companions
  • Head slot toggle for companions
  • Unify color for companions
  • Reduce money sinks on Legacy perks
  • Shared storage between alts
  • Recall to space ship && remove the orbital stations
  • Choosing the warzone queue
  • Credits rewards in PvP
  • Tweaking on the less iconic gear pieces (meshes and textures included)
  • More quickslots bars
  • Separate buff bars from vitals
  • Hide UI portraits
  • Hot key templates
  • Chat channel server wide

 

And if nothing else dig through these

  1. [Legacy in 1.3] & beyond: compendium
  2. Gear customization and management
  3. X-wing vs Tie-Fighter space sim
  4. Fix/polish these
  5. Some from these Quest ideas

*Honestly More then anything open up the space to space combat PVP and pve space missions. The current space missions is to arcade would rather be able to fly a ship like I did in SWG. also be able to dock and do simulation space play.

 

**Introduce new planets with new quests, heroics and ops.

 

*** Lets start doing World PVP make certain cities on current PVE worlds that have a time cycle where the factions battle each other for control of the city (like it was done in SWG) alot of great group play and also alot of fun.

Content to help with the longevity of the game/franchise. Not short term perks but long term solutions that keep the game feeling fresh from lvl 1-50 and beyond.

 

Here are my hopes for 1.4:

 

Alternative Play or "Minigames"

More content away from the typical dry combat grind: We're losing a lot of lvl capped players. Here's an opportunity to win some back. By offering a fresh side-game that can compete with WZs and Space Combat when the grind gets dull.

 

Imagine this. 300 years after the events of KOTOR the Hutt Cartel has taken over and re-vamped the popular card game Pazaak. The Cartel now officiates the gambling game and distributes cards to gamblers galaxy-wide. In the best interest of the game The Hutts have made new rules to the game: the first and foremost being that any Hutt approved card is allowed in the game regardless of the card's effect on the game. The second rule is that the target sum goal of the game has been increased from 20 to 100, but may be subject to change from match to match. Third New Rule is that The Hutts will host a galaxy-wide third-party Event 4 times a year where republic AND imperial parties can partake in a high-stakes, high reward Pazaak Tournament.

 

Introduce this game and suddenly there's a reason to continue playing the game when the typical grind gets dull. Head to the fleet and partake in a few matches with friends or npcs. 3 vs Dealer matches could be possible at high-level "Hard" matches. Or 4 player Versus could also be established. The rewards could vary, from credits, to pets, to commendations. Tournaments (world events where the general public can attend) could even allow for winning new mounts, pazaak centered emotes, and rare crystals. Since any "Hutt Approved" card is allowed, rare and extremely rare 'hutt approved' cards could be found in Operations and select flashpoints and hidden throughout the game. These are prototype cards that hold unusual qualities that were perhaps issued as sweetheart gifts from an ambitious hutt to nobles, admirals, and force users that your party has been sent to destroy. Also the potential for new cards new card combinations and new avenues to actually win the as the Cartel changes guidelines would make this "minigame" a highly addictive source of new content as players slowly build their most competitive deck in an ever changing game.

Lastly, fully integrate it! Pazaak in every Cantina with varying rewards from planet to planet! A friendly game of Pazaak with companions can earn affection, small rewards, and unlock special conversation sequences hitherto unexplored. Social Points when playing Pazaak with other players, makes this game an essential staple for the game.

-More Regular World Events that are sometimes Empire centered, sometimes Republic focused, and sometime cross faction, but implemented faster to keep the game feeling fresh like there's always more content and new ways to get lost.

-Eventually New and Improved extremely deep Space System, I dont expect this is possible by 1.4 but I still want it, think the game needs it. Open World Space combat. Mining resources. Discover New planets and irregular formations. Fight Space Bosses. Space PvP. Space Planet Sieges. Space Achievements. All of this is possible.

-New WZs Flashpoints and Operations are also very welcome, but I warn that these are short term solutions since the community will devour that content in months and be hungry for more.

-Also anything that helps World PvP. When people hit lvl cap they are looking for something to do, and some way to show off their tough new toon. Sieging capitol cities, and defeating city Bosses for rewards and achievements (while I understand is not on bioware's to-do list) would breath new life into the game and give lvl capped characters something to aspire for other than Warzones and unfocused Ganking.

Those are my thoughts!

1) High end Solo or 2 man content that is worth doing and adds to the story. Dailies are fine but they quickly become boring specially if you are looking for the daily gear.

 

2) More Species that aren't just painted humans.

 

3) Decent end content gear that doesn't look stupid.

 

4) Open world conquest of contested planets. This can be both PvP, PvPvE and PvE but make it so there is a reason to do all these things.

Some of the things I want to see in 1.4 update:

 

  1. Side-kicking/Mentoring System
  2. Hood Toggling
  3. "Dual Speccing" capability
  4. Barbershop
  5. More "actual pants" options for Consulars/Inquisitors
  6. Bounty Boards (similar to SWG)
  7. Costume options that show more skin! The body models are awesome!
  8. Tattoos available with the "more skin" options!
  9. Cybernetic Limbs!
  10. More chairs you can actually sit in!
  11. Co-Op or Versus Space Combat!
  12. Cross Faction Flashpoints!
  13. Playable Pazaak Tables
  14. Gambling at the Casinos!
  15. Swoop and/or Pod-Racing mini-games
  16. More long hair options!

 

Just a few suggestions to make the game more immersive....
