  1. Every Tuesday is the reset and I dunno what other tasks it has from week to week, I only just started participating in it myself.
  2. This one is your Conquest; https://imgur.com/dwG05jH and at the right top, the 4k out of 50k, that's the points you're accumulating. You have 4 days left to get 45'ish k more in order to receive the rewards listed just below that.
  3. Personally, I enjoyed being an Imperial saboteur and if you're a LS/pragmatic type of person who isn't into wanton destruction or killing left and right then it definitely works. I don't regret becoming a sab on my Agent.
  4. I did personal conquest for the first time last week, purely because I'd been doing the Bounty Hunting stuff and kept getting notifications of having completed a Conquest objective which made me look into it more. It wasn't bad. This week the big points do rely on group play but you can also craft stuff, run any KOTFEET chapter, do Battle of Ilum each day on any difficulty (thus solo/story too) and so on. Plus just doing game activities like killing mobs, Onderon dailies etc. will net you points too. A lot of that is repeatable too, either 100x per day if you want to, or daily reset, so while the point reward may be smaller it does add up quick.
  5. That's what I've been wondering--whether Malgus may try and track down or stumble across that ship carrying Satele and her Jedi in quarantine. Which is basically just a big pod of pure, dark evil floating through space and someone in search of power and dominance over the galaxy might just love to get their hands on that compact little gift to snack on.
  6. I don't mind characters returning from the dead, or hearing "Guess what, they didn't actually die", but it's the how of it. Not sure yet how I feel about Malgus--it's cool to see him again but I really hope this isn't another bid of his for power/rule. Guess I'm withholding my opinion until we see what he does/intends to do next. If he stomps his feet again about being Emperor then... meh. Been there, done that I guess. I do think the ending of Ilum was vague enough for his return now to work but again, for me it's all going to come down to why they brought him back and how they're going to handle his story moving forward. Tenekoriate needs to stay deader than dead. While I loved the stories connected to Vitiate during the original class arcs, and didn't even mind his rise on Yavin 4... I've been disappointed with his story throughout KOTFEET as Valkorion. It changed his impact as this superior, mysterious, embodiment of evil and the dark side to humanize him and make him almost as plain and normal as other baddies. I don't think this Scourge, Kira, and Satele situation is going to bring Valkorion back. I think it's a way of tying up any loose ends related to his storyline, questions players have had over the years about the who/what/why/when of all his body-hopping and so forth (Charles did promise months ago we'd get answers about his original body for instance). I think it'll be closure on his part of the story while potentially providing a new, different threat. I also hope this Scourge thing does not once more bring back Revan because again, been there, done that. Seen enough of him by now, let him sip tea in the afterlife and stay gone. Lastly, as an avid reader of fan fiction, yes they often do a much better job at the story but I don't think you can honestly compare them to game writers. Fanfiction writers have a lot more freedom in a way. They're not beholden to someone else's vision, the company's vision, having to satisfy thousands of subscribers, staying within resource limits, being mindful of 8 different classes and all associated story and characters and so forth.
  7. Daniel, can you put the White/White dye module back on the CM? It was on sale 2 weeks ago and then vanished completely instead of going back to its regular price, or was that intended? It's a pretty amazing dye, hope it's not gone for good.
  8. Provided you're at least level 70, head to your ship and pick 'Inflection Point' up from your mission console. It'll warn you that accepting the mission for Jedi Under Siege will complete previous stuff etc. after which you can say 'yes, ready to begin jedi under siege'. Keep in mind skipping will default choices. LS on the Republic side, DS on the Imp side, and you may miss out on certain romance locks. It'll also skip/autocomplete the traitor arc and make you forgive Theron regardless of which faction you play for.
  9. I just want more story and more Purebloods to love, I'm not difficult to satisfy.
  10. Balancing mob scaling throughout all content, yes, but I see no point messing with the leveling gain. I don't play to hit 75 asap or as slowly as possible, I play for the story experience, the game itself, and it makes no difference to me whether I'm level 47 on Corellia or 75. ETA: I'd actually advocate level scaling in both directions, up and down, so people can just play the story content they want to without having to worry about their level.
  11. Pretty sure Dasty wasn't making jabs at anyone who feels critical of the update. Only those who've made 10-15+ posts in this thread for the sole purpose of arguing each other and everyone else's opinion, both good and bad, all the while advocating positivity without realizing their constant "yes but" is actually turning the debate in a negative direction.
  12. Slightly OT but it would be nice if you guys would just, create a Collections section for this sort of stuff instead of me having to spend half an hour digging through 44 mails on new characters to activate all mounts and pets, and deleting stuff I don't care for.
  13. So, I had my Smuggler go saboteur on Ossus and throughout Onslaught but at the end of Corellia chose to restore the shields (non-sab option). After Corellia, the Imperial droid called to voice his disapproval and I got the dialogue option to end my role as saboteur and return to being a Republic loyalist, which I did. Yet I'm then sent to Nar Shaddaa and told by Darth Xarion I'm part of some task force in the Empire and then that's it. So now I'm confused about who I'm working for and why they added me to their task force when I ended my saboteur role. Is that how it's supposed to go, did it bug out, did I miss or hit a wrong option?
  14. Oh, I know, and I wouldn't expect such a thing to apply to old sets so it's still only half a solution. Would be nice if they started doing it going forward though as that would at least be something. But, another thing that bothers me is that I don't actually mind the hoods--I mind the damn bald egg head underneath it. If my character could have "hood hair" options, I'm fine with my robes as they are. I'd pay a damned amount of CC to get something akin to what Vaylin's model has.
  15. The swimsuit comes with two different tops, one with tails and one without. Dunno why they won't do the same for hooded tops.
  16. Must be a case of bad/good luck because I've been running solo FPs on my 274 and she's been getting a ton of 278 blues. And I rarely only do it on a whim because I'm not a grind person.
  17. Top and gloves are Xoxaan's, skirt is Revan Reborn.
  18. Pretty sure Scourge is introduced to Satele and several other Jedi once you bring him to Tython after escaping the Emperor's fortress. Besides, 'an old ally' isn't necessarily his old ally. Could be an old ally of ours, the player character, in which case Marr and Satele, given KOTFE, both fit. Then if you take into consideration that the Jedi Knight's crew accompanied them through SoR, even if the game doesn't highlight it, it stands to reason Scourge does know Marr and Satele, again. Of course there is also the KOTFE chapter where Marr and Satele leave you because the Force has summoned them elsewhere which may just be to aid Kira and Scourge. So, I remain curious and wouldn't discount them in favor of the typical old cat in the bag that is Revan.
  19. Wonderful to hear from you Keith, and to get a glimpse of what's to come. I have to say, I'm really enjoying the expansion so far and I've even started doing some content I normally don't bother with, like dailies, especially on Onderon because I'm in love with that planet. I'm not someone who cares much about endgame gearing but I like how this system works. Keep it up and thank you for posting. Thanks to Charles as well for being so active elsewhere and helping wherever he can, and Eric and the other devs who've been trying their best in the past weeks to give us a smooth experience. I really look forward to seeing where our story goes next because that had me hyped most of all and I loved the little bits of class flavor. The rest of you... please can we just appreciate (or hate it if that makes you feel better) Keith's post without these inane debates filled with personal opinions, assumptions, backseat driving, and negativity about who's right and wrong, what goes on in the devs office, what Keith's intentions are, arguing with those who are less pleased than you are and so forth? Meatbag bickering rarely encourages continued conversation with the devs and threads have been shut down before because people went OT this way. You guys have a dozen other threads concerning the same gripes and opinions, keep it there and leave this for the people who enjoy Keith's post or have questions/comments/concerns related directly to his post.
  20. Charles addressed this today on Twitter, thanks to Yllarius. Personally I'm of a mind that I'd rather see an acknowledgement of our wedding than an actual scene. At best a "getting ready for the wedding" moment and then a fade-to-black because I'm a headcanon/ff person and I have my own ideas about what a wedding would look like for some of my characters and their LI. I'd rather fill in the blanks myself than have a generic wedding that, in my opinion, wouldn't work for that couple. For instance, I cannot picture my Knight and Theron going for a big traditional sort of thing. They'd just kinda pop out, get the paperwork sorted, then celebrate in private. Again, that's just my personal take but when factoring in resources, the vast amount of LIs out there (because if you did it for Lana and Theron, others who date Koth, Arcann, class LIs who never got a true scene, would want it too), and creating something that works for everyone (which is basically impossible)... with those things in mind I'd say go for acknowledgment, a lead in that fades to black, but don't create full wedding scenes. And save the resources for more frequent and continued flirt/kiss scenes with our LIs, even the original class LIs, because I'd much rather have that be a focus than a wedding.
  21. And for nonstealth toons... 1 - Log in. 2 - Sit around your usual spot of leisure. 3 - Realize you don't feel like making the effort to gear up. 4 - Log off. That's been my method for years and if I fall behind on gear, the game supplies a catch-up baggie like with Ossus so it totally works!
  22. I love Ben's involvement here, especially since he no longer works for Bioware. That man is magic.
  23. This. ^ Heroic2+ missions do reward blue gear relevant to your level, but mobs in regular story quest content usually only drop whatever the original level was for that zone. Alternatively, you can equip adaptive armor and buy mods etc. on the fleet. I usually do the latter and update my stuff every 5 levels I think it is? That way I'm not relying on H2+s or other sources. Really only do the odd H2+ for implants/ear/relics.
  24. I'm not a big fan of Tau, though she is growing on me a little. I understand what they wanted to do for her story but I feel it didn't translate well. Arn's was better. Anyway... killing her because she doesn't trust your Imperial character? Wut? Lol. Even toward my saboteur, she has an attitude, which only makes sense. Doesn't mean she needs to be killed.
