  1. Yll... I rarely disagree with you but uh... may as well buy a rug to hump and roll with. I'd veto this, sorry!
  2. Was going to ask about this, thanks. Could you please say whether the reported bug here concerning Republic saboteur/loyalist options will be addressed in that December patch, or at least whether it's been acknowledged for a fix? Since such a choice greatly impacts the story, I'd love to see a fix for it before the next portion of the story is released.
  3. Clearly, Tulak Hord is peeved that Darth Malgus is once more alive and mostly well while he still rots so he's been throwing hissy fits ever since Onslaught. Can't blame him.
  4. I chose to remain independent. Guess that's what botches it up then, or can you not become a loyalist if you're independent? That would be odd.
  5. Exactly, neither did I, despite clicking [end saboteur role] during my holocall with NR02 after Corellia. He even expressed his disappointment in me because I took the non-sab option to keep the shields up.
  6. The first time on the Pub side took me a little over an hour, partially because I sat waiting for that ship log way too long which was bugged at the time. Once I brought in my alt, she was done in 30 minutes because I knew what was where and figured out a route. I didn't turn off shadows but I did set my grass to 0 because the beast tracking one, for instance, was difficult to spot otherwise. Imperial side was no problem at all, though I've started skipping the one down in those temple chambers where you gotta collect relics. The many rooms and hallways drive me nuts and feel too time consuming.
  7. It is implemented in-game. Both the Republic and Imperial characters can end their saboteur role after Corellia and if you're Imperial, you'll meet with Jonas again to end your saboteur role. However, as a Republic character, your choice to end being a saboteur is first acknowledged during the holocall but then when you head to Nar Shaddaa it is entirely ignored and you're treated as a friend who followed every instruction despite the fact you did not. That seems like a bug rather than intended play.
  8. I enjoy the system WoW has and honestly cannot recall the last time I've seen a gold spammer. They sell tokens in their game shop for real world currency which can then be traded on the auction house for predetermined price value of in-game gold. This stops people from undercutting one another and the gold value is based on supply vs. demand (and based on average illegal gold selling rates when the tokens first launched). The tokens themselves can be used to either convert to Blizzard balance (real currency in your account to use in the shops) or to one-month game time. This has allowed people who'd prefer not to, or can't, spend real money on the game or shop to farm gold in-game and then purchase tokens on the AH/GTN, paying for their gameplay with gameplay. It's genuinely a good system, a win-win for all, and one I'm very happy with. Rift had something similar at one point except their version of tokens could be converted into special cash-shop currency similar to our Cartel Coins. I'm all for SWTOR implementing something similar.
  9. I had the same thing happen. Wasn't sure if it's a bug or not though it feels like one, especially after seeing what happens when an Imperial saboteur ends their role. I tried out the saboteur role on my Smuggler but ended up not enjoying it so following Corellia, at the end, I took the non-saboteur option and then in the holocall with the droid picked the [end sab/return loyalist] option. However, I still received a mission to meet the droid on Nar Shaddaa where he informed me of the next stage and the special team I'd be part of led by Darth Whatshisface, and that they would contact me again soon. As if I didn't end my saboteur role and there was no option on the dialogue wheel during that Nar Shaddaa cantina scene to confirm ending my role. Server: Star Forge Character: Kylá
  10. I was about to disagree as I've been enjoying them plenty but, yes, to save myself a headache I actually turned my grass to 0 for Onderon dailies.
  11. Happy with the acknowledgment and promise of a future fix. Fingers crossed that'll solve the matter properly, unlike the Lana romance bug which tends to resurface.
  12. I haven't read the guide above so apologies, but my main is currently 291 and I have a Legacy bank full of stuff to get about 4-5 other toons to a comfortable 286 at the moment. I do things my own way and have barely touched group content (save for this past week as I did 5 Veteran FPs for the weekly/Conquest). What I've done most is run Solo/Story FPs, especially all the SoR related ones as they're my favorite. They're easy enough to do and the bosses have been dropping upgrades for me. It's usually 1-2 items of the same item level I've got, and then 1-2 upgrade pieces per boss. Give or take a little less/more at times with the nature of RNG but I've consistently gotten at least 3 pieces of upgrades per FP, on top of tech fragments and potential upgrades from Renown/Reward boxes. When I have 3/4th of a new level set (aka mostly 284 gear with a few 280/282 pieces left), I go to the vendor on the fleet to purchase replacements for those last few 280/282 pieces and always end up with the next, 284, or sometimes it'll proc a 286 item. Keeps my fragments below cap as well and boosts me up to the next 'level' so I'll start getting 286 drops in FPs. And it goes on like that. I always make sure to equip the highest item level stuff too, even if the stats look a little iffy. I've also been doing Onderon weekly/dailies quite a bit, mostly for rep, but it's helped my renown ranks and those reward caches have dropped some really nice things as well. I'm not up to 306 like everyone else is but I've also never been a hardcore player or someone who's made a lot of effort for gear as I just go about my own things and play the story. Still, what I've been doing in the past week has felt easy and relaxing, doing it at my own pace and still getting nice stuff. For being a filthy casual, I'd say 291 isn't too bad. My way may not be what's recommended or advised but it's what works for me and I'm happy.
  13. I definitely agree that it would be OOC for Theron to stick by a murderous PC and his reaction if you've caused a lot of death is understandable. He's not a doormat and I actually appreciate his personality being honored rather than him being changed to suit a DS'er. What I have against it isn't his reaction (which only makes sense) but the game's approach. It would be rotten for players to lose him in that way or at least, without genuine clarification that it's a risk, you know? Especially when he ends up being the only one/one of a few, who will break up with you for your actions. That's not a common thing right now so the game should be giving warnings along the likes of "Name Disapproves" and "Your actions will be remembered" or "Your actions will put your romance at risk".
  14. They just go poof and it's tough luck for you. I've exceeded the weekly cap a lot with the Onderon guys and my tokens still get consumed, just without increasing my rep further.
  15. I suspect that the default script in place for all romances, where you can break up should you choose to romance someone else, was triggered while they rearranged our companion list in Thursday's patch. The patch notes even specifically point out moving Scourge (and Kira and Jakarro) to the right category, and I'm guessing somehow it caused a bug with the Scourge romance string. Can't imagine it's saboteur related as the romance is engaged post-Corellia, with our sab/loyalist status already affirmed, and the break-up line states we did the breaking up, not him. That said, it would be a sure kick in the gut if sab/loyalist actions put our romances at risk, especially with the non-existent options to romance someone else in the current content and there being no warning for it thus far. Theron's anger and a missed kiss is one thing (and while understandable, bad enough) but it would be terrible if it ever reached a point where he (or any other LI) dumps us.
  16. I more than adore this little guy. Don't get me wrong, the astromechs have been cute but this... ♥
  17. Thank you for reaching out and getting involved so quickly on your day off.
  18. Yep. Thankfully it happened for me on a Token character as well, as I was too curious to see the romance but my other Knights are still in their class story which I don't like rushing. Thinking something may have gone awry while they were 'fixing up' our companion list during the most recent patch and sorting class companions into the correct tabs or something.
  19. Yep, same here. Looks like he dumped me somewhere in the past few days.
  20. I haven't noticed a difference. Still getting the same amount of upgrades as I did before the patch, with about 2-3 284 pieces dropping for my 281 toon per flashpoint, and everything else being 280 or 282, and some greens.
  21. Have you checked to see if it's not already in that character's mission log left over from last week?
  22. Ilum one isn't so bad. I've been doing FPs on my stealthy toon and a lot of stuff you can skip. Completion is all that matters. Also been picking KOTFEET chapters you can easily stealth like the Havoc one and the Mando one.
