  1. So far I've played through Onslaught with my LS Knight who has Theron romanced, and my 'gray' Warrior who's romancing Arcann. Overall I found the quests and story plenty enjoyable. Onderon is absolutely gorgeous, I did take my time there to explore a bit. As a Jedi, I really enjoyed Lana's banter toward uh... cyber Padawan dude whose name I've forgotten... as well as Tau and with Gnost. I actually found all quips throughout the story very enjoyable, some really good one liners in there. That King dude is laughable, as are his cousins, woulda gladly left them in the dirt and handed Onderon back to the Untamed but oh well. Glad to have Jakarro and Deefour back, they crack me up. Mek Sha is decent story-wise and I freaked with joy when the 'Mysterious' dude attacked my Knight on my very first playthrough because I instantly suspected who it was and, hell yeah. ♥ Not overly fond of the navigation on Mek Sha, gave me a bit of a runaround. Loved that my Sith Warrior got to flirt with Vowrawn though, I missed him and it was nice getting to work with him again, couldn't even fault him for scheming. Love Indigo as a simple quest NPC, he stood out way more than that bug guy and think his quest is more fun. Corellia made me a little nostalgic and I like how they played with our character's history a bit. Only thing missing for me personally was Praven, that woulda been the cherry on top, especially with all these other throwbacks. On my Warrior I had a good laugh at Tharan's line about the 'other Theron' spelling the name the stupid way. Cried on my Knight when on the fleet, post Corellia, Kira and Scourge walk into the scene even if I suspected it. It feels like I've waited for that moment for so long so finally seeing them again and reuniting meant the world to me. Absolutely loved the story that explains their absence and the trouble going on now with Satele and her Jedi, and seeing how every class gets that story from them it makes me hopeful for future content involving either or both of them. On my Warrior it was a thrill for the old and less-old Wrath to finally meet face to face and while it's taking some getting used to, I really enjoyed Scourge's banter. Couldn't lock his romance on that specific Jedi Knight because she's married to Theron but I already have another one who's about to start Onslaught so, yay. Haven't tried Lana's flirts/romance but was very happy to flirt and kiss Theron after Corellia, and loved the look on his face and his tone of voice when you suggest skipping the party or something. I'd been worried we'd see less of Lana/Theron now with the new expansion so it was a relief to get this at all, and I like that they're still by our side. I'm really happy so far. Also glad we had the option of keeping our Alliance since my Knight wasn't in the mood to 'serve' another Chancellor and my Warrior wasn't gonna play puppet to Acina. Seems the best option for now is to remain independent. Downside is the lack of LI interaction/letters if you have anyone other than Theron or Lana romanced, and aren't romancing the people who returned in this update.
  2. It seems saboteurs and Imperial characters are walking a tight rope when it comes to their Theron romance in Onslaught. I hadn't realized the issue, only having taken my LS loyal Knight through (who has Theron romanced) and my 'gray' Sith Warrior who has Arcann romanced. Theron did throw a fit about all the deaths on my SW and walked off but I figured that was simply because I don't have him romanced on that toon. Doesn't feel right that people are getting robbed of their flirt/kiss moment without any prior indication that might be the case, not even a "Theron disapproves" or "Your actions will be remembered" pop up like in other scenarios where 'choices matter'. Guess my Nox will have to goodie-two-shoe the situation, even if that's entirely OOC for her, just to make sure she gets her smooches in the end. Semi-related side note; I took an instant liking to Indigo on Mek-Sha, especially when talking to him and I wasn't sure why since I'm normally not big on the mando types but then Charles tells me he's voiced by Troy so, you know, that explains that. Plus the fact he's a lot more useful and fun to work with than that bug-eyed thing.
  3. Does this only affect Iokath stuff that is in the KOTFEET chapters, or also the Iokath stuff that leads into the Traitor arc? I'm trying to push my Theron-mancing character through to that content now but if I'm gonna be bashing my head into this bug I'd rather hold off and play a different toon until it's fixed.
  4. Can't speak to Nadia but my boosted JK couldn't romance Doc or even flirt with him.
  5. The bug must be frustrating but I'm sitting here laughing so hard almost wishing I could experience it myself. Guess some of these Alliance guys are taking the new expansion extremely serious.
  6. I've played through it on my loyal Knight and loyal Warrior so far and on both I've kept my Alliance. I don't care to become a new Chancellor's puppet all over again, no matter the titles and task forces promised. And my Sith Warrior sure as hell isn't going back to being an Empress' lackey as the Wrath once more, leading the Hand. Did feel a bit bad for Theron on the Empire side, he didn't take things well. Lana was far more tame vice versa. Also love that Scourge and Kira seem to join all classes because I've long wanted the old Wrath and my own Wrath to team up. Plus their bit of banter was enjoyable, as is Lana's especially toward the Jedi and Padawan. Been having a really great time so far. Only minor downside is the lack of romantic interaction if you're romancing anyone other than Lana/Theron but that was to be expected. On the other hand, flirting with Malgus and getting an aggrevated 'ugh' is awesome.
  7. Plenty. Along with [faction newbies], he and Lana are by your side most of the time and there's some good flirting and kiss at the end. I've been extremely pleased with the interactions.
  8. My Knight finished the whole thing before the servers went down and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Really happy so thank you team!
  9. I'm far happier with Kira and Scourge's return than I thought I would be. I feel I got more than I expected and, given what they tell us and the severity of it, I don't think this is the last we've seen of them either.
  10. My Doc is back despite my Knight divorcing him. Yes. It's worth it, go play.
  11. Tbh I couldn't discern whether OP tried to address a genuine issue or take a trolling run at the SJW culture. Also, *** did I come back to?
  12. Cool, thread #3 asking for Lana's removal/death. Is it me or is player animosity toward Lana increasing?
  13. Who cares about Malgus' age or mask? We can romance a centuries-old Dashade now, we just can't suck face with him because he has more fangs than lips. Hell, he's a devourer of thousands of Jedi and always hungry, threatening to eat you but we're going to draw the line of "oh em gee eew/bad guy/monster" at Malgus? I mean each to their own and I'm sure that those who take issue with Malgus' evilness, mask, age, deformity didn't engage Khem's romance or Arcann's either. I respect the lore argument and those about his personality though, and how a romance for him now could negate impactful events from the books. Alas, as with every other thread like this one where someone proposes a Male Force User, for contenders it is rarely about just a Male Force User to romance and more often about a specific want. How certain appearances, backgrounds, and characteristics are okay for a companion that is desired by the commenting individual but not okay for any other companion that doesn't have their very personal preference for whichever reason. At this point I'd suggest that "I want to romance [Name] and until I get it, no one else will be good enough or acceptable" is a more honest demand than to hide behind wanting just "A Male Force User" romance for the community to enjoy. No offense and this isn't a generalization toward every single person who's ever requested 'a male force user', just an observation and I almost feel as if that might have been the OPs aim in a way rather than actually proposing a Malgus romance. In any case, I'd never considered Malgus an option until I saw this thread and if they go for it, cool, I'll give it a shot. If not then that's just as well and it would probably spare me the hassle of leveling yet another character since I refuse to break up my current pairings.
  14. I think romantic standards along those lines went out the door when we received the option to date someone who stuck us in carbonite and attempted to kill us. Besides, I hear chokeplay is all the rage these days.
  15. I'm okay with that. Still not my number one/preferred choice but I'd engage that [Flirt] if it was there. I was a little on the fence about his return (how it would play out, whether it would ruin his character and whether the rumors were true at all) but having played the loyal Empire side yesterday, I enjoyed his presence.
  16. As passionate and up-in-arms as I may get at times, and while I take breaks, I can't see myself quitting unless there are extreme changes. The only two reasons I could think of right now are; - Closure of the game, duh. - Removal of all current content/original class stories to redesign SWTOR as PvP only (which I don't see happening). Basically, for as long as the servers are live and I continue to have access to my favorite aspects (Story, even if limited to old story content for replay) I cannot see myself quitting fully. I have plenty of items on my wishlist and ideas as to what could be but that's a different matter and those aren't dealbreakers. I'd still play even if all I could do was relive the Knight's class story a hundred times over.
  17. I am all for the team or any employer having the holidays off. That said, I do also feel this is an irresponsible situation. If you're going to schedule a major content patch for the 2nd week of December, so close to the holidays, then you need to make sure it is as bug-free as you can get it via internal testing and PTS and assure there's a team on standby to address any unexpected issues that may arise. Granted that none of these bugs are 'game breaking' in the strictest sense, it is a bugged product pushed out to release and followed up with a "See y'all in 3 to 4 weeks". That to me is careless and irresponsible. Imo, better would have been to wait until you're in a position where your team can tackle any problems head-on and provide a timely fix for players. On the other hand, players then would have screamed about the patch delay and "How dare they delay the patch because of the holidays, I was going to play my arse off during Christmas!!" because that's just what people do. Still, that would have, for me, been preferable over the appearance of carelessness toward their own product.
  18. Throwing my lot in with everything Penny had to say.
  19. I don't mind the revival or return of villains if they are compelling and if the story is interesting. With the Sith Emperor I loved the idea of getting more of him especially on a JK or SW, he was a good villain then, but then they shifted him to a diaper changing Valkorion and it kinda lost flair for me. No opinion yet on Malgus, not played it yet, I just hope they live up to his character history rather than turn him into a bumbling idiotic baboon.
  20. Early or not, I'm all for it. Happy Holidays to all, happy day off work/Tuesday to those who don't celebrate, and wishing everyone a good, healthy 2019.
  21. Same applies to Nadia and Jaesa though, and whichever other classic companion/flirt they're returning as SGR. Nadia and Jaesa never flirted with a female PC before either but I'm not seeing that criticized as 'sudden'. Though, by that same token, if we are going the route of "Just because they never did before doesn't mean they can't now" then yeah, that same approach could be applied to others whether they were straight or gay previously.
  22. "Let's go save the Voidhound because they're the only one who can stop Arcann and the Eternal Fleet." -- I've always found that plenty logical, especially for my Smuggler who told Lana she'd best hope we never cross paths again and who's a champion at ducking responsibility and heroism. I think we're supposed to take on faith this idea that, the Republic won't fight back, the Empire won't so Theron and Lana have gotten back in touch with each other to figure out a way. They discuss which other strong/influential folks might join them and that leads them to us, seeing how we've all worked together before. Then while Theron goes on a hunt for our crew and other members, Lana sets out into Wild Space to learn more about our enemies, hears about the fate of this 'Outlander' and gains intel eventually bringing her to the vault with Koth. I can accept that but the shame is, we're never actually told much about those events. Some snippets that give enough room for headcanon and while that's nice, it also leaves a massive chunk of Swiss cheese which in turn leads to "Why the hell would this blonde I told to go take a hike come and rescue me?!".
  23. Ah, thank you. Yeah, I figured he was bricked either way if only for the fact his recruitment is locked to the Knight, but I wasn't sure about the "So long bubs" option.
  24. I have to say it is comforting to see that even those who like Lana and have her romanced on one or several toons, can see and feel that her presence is becoming too much. Clearly this is an issue that goes beyond liking or not liking her.
