  1. Dear Bioware,

I know how you could update prefab vendors without you spending much time on it. Do what you usually do with mounts - recolor. Recolor those decorations that the vendors already sell. That's not much to ask, right? Pretty please. :jawa_angel:

In this case recoloring items would be much more appreciated by us. It would add a great deal of color theme variations to our rooms. We are extremely limited by lights, so far we get either blue or yellow/orange. Rugs have the exact same issue.

I see an orange Networked Lamp in Constable’s Pack but that is not the place where I thought we would get recolors from prefab vendors. :(

At the moment what we need the most is green and red variations of all the lights, e.g. Underworld Light Node as there are many decorations that are green/red color based.

  2. In 3.0:

Another leveling planet(s) with a complete storyline that can be solo'd (it's certainly fine if it leads directly into a new plot, but there should be a real sense that you've played through a complete "Act")

    At least one new Operation

    A new Daily Area

Hard Modes for all the Forged Alliances FPs (with some actual mechanics for Rakata Prime bosses)

Something new to do with our companions (Companion-based Dailies?)

    A new minigame (swoop racing?)

    By 3.2 at the latest:

    A new Warzone

    A new playable species unlock

    An in-game guild calendar function

    A new GSF map

Pretty much this. I guess most of the players want all of these points.

  3. SWTOR is noncanon as long as they state otherwise.

    That's very simple:

They have been in contact with Lucasfilm simply because it's still a product of SW franchise. It has nothing to do with SWTOR being a part of Disney canon. You just want to believe it's canon and you fall for PR talk from a PR person. It's not hard to simply say three words: SWTOR is canon, is it? Exactly. So instead of saying those three words they hide it behind PR talk.

If SWTOR was canon, they would simply say that instead of workarounding the issue. What I assume is that someone at Bioware decided not to declare SWTOR canon status as some folks are going crazy about this matter, e.g Sarfux. and that could potentially influence their decision to stop playing the game or complain. Yeah, some folks are too serious about this matter.

EA doesn't want to deal with *****storm as long as they can. Hence Bioware is currently not going to confirm or deny SWTOR being canon.

At the moment SWTOR is noncanon as it was clearly stated on Community Cantina Los Angeles June 2014:

"SWTOR is not canon. It is part of the extended universe. It will not be

affected in anyway. The only thing that can affect SWTOR is Lucas Arts.

As in Sith will not be running around on unicorn mounts."

    Additionally:

Disney has made it crystal clear what is canon and what is not.

Are The Old Republic expansions canon?

No — BioWare “has created their own universe that is so fantastic,” we’re not going to change it, says Hidalgo.

BUT WHAT SHOULD BE THE MOST IMPORTANT: It doesn't matter whether its canon or not. GEEZ. Just enjoy the game and the story. Be happy that at least something from the Expanded Universe is continued. A few months ago I was disappointed about the decision of throwing away the EU, but the truth is I only wish the story and characters I know would be continued. It doesn't need to be canon. TOR is an ongoing project. Be glad it is! I would love to say the same about books, but so far Lucasfilm doesn't want to continue books under Legends banner :(

  4. There's no pazaak because it isn't worth the cost/benefit of putting it into the game. They'd never be able to legally put any kind of gambling into the game with actual money. If it's just credits, it's not "gambling" under the law. You'd have to be able to win something of tangible value outside of the game to be gambling.

It's always worth it as long as you please your players and it doesn't cost a fortune to make :rak_01: Seriouesly, how expensive a minigame can be?

I would be satisfied with either PVE or PVP Pazaak. It's a better alternative than no Pazaak at all. Although making AI that work in that minigame could take them more time than creating Pazaak that is only focused on player vs player.

  5. Over all my experience is that the Imp factionstories offers more depth, more immerse 'feel', cooler environments then the Republic factions stories . . . might have to do with the origin writing. Imp stories have a more mature rang to them, while republic feels naive and one dimensional, boring actually ...

The Trooper's story isn't one dimensional. You actually have lots of doubts when you choose a dialogue option. It's often the question of aiding a small group of people or your beloved Republic. I was surprised as I thought it would have been just two alternatives - kill imps or capture them alive. Instead we get much more issues that are not as simple.

  6. I have played all storylines and the fights I remember the most come from Sith Warrior's story. This led me to the conclusion that instead of getting another scenario that goes in order:

    talk -> fight to 0% -> kill a boss,

Bioware could increase the "epic" factor in the solo story fights by throwing cutscenes into those encounters after reducing the boss' HP to 1%.

Just like it is in Warrior's story where the fights are interrupted by short cutscenes and then you continue to fight with a boss that is once again at 100%. This gives additional aspect of immersion and turns impressive battles into the most epic battles :rak_04:

So the actual fights with bosses would follow this pattern: talk -> fight to 1% -> cutscene -> fight again -> kill a boss,

    Examples:

  7. But I guess BW has moments where the inherent conflicts between "story-driven" and "multi-player" cause them to make this sort of choice.

Maybe they need one coherent story because they can't make another expansion that would check what was your actual choice in the previous one? ;) But the class story works that way, so I don't know why we wouldnt be able to join Revan.

Who knows. I highly doubt that they will give us a choice though.
