My problem is that I bought a SE because my CE took way too long to get to me and I didn't want to miss out on EGA. So not only did I pay $210 (and subsequently received 60 days) but now I have to pay even more to get the title. Meh, I will.

I'm assuming that OP didn't actually play SWG before nor after NGE because these are two very different situations. NGE took an awesome sandbox style MMO that had a close community of players that loved the heck out of the game and turned it on its ear. EVERYTHING about the game was changed literally with one patch and SOE didn't even try to get constructive feedback before releasing it into the wild: they just released it. Ruined the entire game. Patch 1.1 didn't ruin the entire game, and actually fixed a lot of niggling bugs..they just had an oversight with Ilum and other little bugs (like the splash screen thing). Not comparable in the slightest.

It's not a fact at all, it's an opinion you have that others may agree or disagree with at their leisure. I've played baseball since I was eight years old and haven't stopped..I'm in my 30's. I've done it A LOT, and yet I'd make a poor pro baseball player. Just because someone does something A LOT doesn't make them 'pro' at anything.

I don't get why people are flaming the original poster. I already have the 20 and 40 sets but that's because I farmed comms early on in EGA and just went ahead and bought them while I had them. With that said, it is pretty ludicrous that you will have outleveled the dang gear before you can even afford to buy it. It was a stupid decision. I believe it worked out for 50's a lot better, but for lower level PvPers not so much. Sorry OP!

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. My God, yes. You go into a PVP area and you're NOT getting ganked, something is wrong. I LIKE that they finally let people get valor from killing opposing players. It was so stupid watching Repubs and Imps just gaily hitting objectives while exchanging cooking recipes. My guildies the other day (two of 'em) were running through Hoth and a roving band of eight or so Repubs were just rolling through, killing every Imperial they saw. My guildies didn't whine or complain about it; in fact they thought it was pretty hilarious because up until that point they hadn't even seen that many Repubs together at once. Those Republic players should be the leaders of their faction because instead of coming to the forums and whining like pansies, they took the fight to the Imperial side. Take notes, whiners.

This is like needing a bunch of milk for a party, and instead of going to the store and picking up a few gallons you go find yourself a cow, milk it into little glasses and then pour the glasses into empty milk jugs. Just go to the freaking store, Bioware. I know it's a pain to have to get in the car, drive to the store and carry the jugs back to the car but in the end that little bit of pain will seem like no bother at all when you're twice as busy moderating all the spam and [notags] that will assuredly follow this decision.

My honest suggestion would be for you to finish up more quests on the previous planet you were just on. I always try to at least be even with the level 'requirements' listed on the Galaxy Map before hitting a new planet. Sometimes a level makes all the difference in the world.

I pre-ordered the CE and for whatever reasons (stupid USPS) I actually didn't receive it until well after EGA. I ended up buying the standard so I could play and when the CE came I put in the sub code for that as well, so I ended up with 60 days..so I have 35 'free' days left. I'll probably sub up after.

Aren't all of you ashamed to be doing the exact same thing people were doing in regards to Rogues? Rogues were fine and all of you babies needed to L2P, and it's exactly the same here.

I think Bioware should get rid of the forums altogether. Every single thing people have whined about has somehow gotten nerfed but Bioware keeps saying it's because 'of metrics' or 'internal testing'. BULL. Yea, I'm calling you a liar Georg. Every nerf and everything you guys have touched outside of actual bug fixes have been directly because of whiny QQ on these boards and it's disgusting. I really had hoped that ya'll would be different, but alas you're not. Now you're going to start nerfing classes based on 'quicker than anticipated kill times' LOL. Gimme a break guys. Stop nerfing stuff and start FIXING stuff and your game will be better off.
