The sad thing is that before SWTOR I had never played an MMO and I was sure this was going to happen. My friend was playing beta-testing this and was begging me to play when it came out. I explained my reasons for not wanting to and playing it too much or becoming addicted was the reason. He would not shut up nor leave me alone and I finally caved and now here I am exactly where I feared I would be and he's nowhere to be found. FMMMOL

So what? Anyone who hates anything should have their feelings appeased? If that were the case then there'd be no game.

NB: I'm speaking for myself here and not the entire community. I hate what the game has become. Launch up to year 3/4 were still fun and playing through all classes and stories, even multiple times, was amazing. I hate the direction the game is going. Every year it gets more and more dumbed-down to try and lure new players but has it worked? The constant complaints I see about losing subscribers left and right should be a red flag that this approach isn't working. Also, the "same content release format for 2018 as 2017". *sigh* Developers see what people are asking for... and then do the opposite, or don't do anything, or come up with something that nobody asked for nor cares about. Community representatives (Keith & Eric and many others over the years) that hardly engage with the community and when they do people slobber all over them for some reason giving them no incentive to do anything worthwhile since people just accept the status quo. I'm bored. All I'm doing is grinding old achievements. PvP is boring. One map for every year SWTOR has been around is just lame. PvE is boring. Same-old, same-old for years. Solo is boring. I've taken exactly one character all the way to the end of KotET and have no desire to snore any others through the exact same story. Now new events since... Nightlife in June 2014? For me events are probably my most enjoyable thing. My favorite was Gree followed by Rakghoul. Anyone who's been playing for a year has probably long since maxed-out their reputation and rewards and here they are just running them over and over again as if this is somehow "content". They are somehow making enough money through the CM to keep making more CM items constantly but not enough money to actually improve the game in ways the community has been suggesting for years. I don't know why I'm still playing and subscribing. I guess I just love Star Wars and keep hoping it'll get better for me even though I haven't been happy for a long time now. I have other hobbies I could be doing but just can't pull the trigger and usubscribe for some reason. I need an intervention or something. TL;DR - At this point I'd actually be relieved if the game died since I can't bring myself to walk away on my own.

Why are you such hypocrites? Hackers. Bots. Cheaters. I've reported MANY over the years with all of the criteria you listed but they are NEVER gotten rid of. So, why should we bother if we don't see any results? I don't give a turd if you're "following the money" or whatever your excuses are, I want to see ACTUAL RESULTS to know that what I'm doing is actually worth a damn.

Ugh. This guy again. Ask for help from players in your area that can help you right away. You clearly aren’t learning your abilities or what to watch out for from enemies and coming here without any specifics isn’t going to do anything. Everything has a solution but it seems like you’d rather just skip anything that isn’t a one-button kill and yet still get credit for doing it.

-1 /notsigned™ As others have pointed out it's stupidly easy and fast to level now. Getting to 70 in 11 hours instead of 120 like in the olden times isn't fast enough for you? At this point why not just make 70 into the new LEVEL 1 and start from there?

You get the price you want, they (maybe) get the price they want, so what's the problem here? It's no different than any other real-life investment model of buy everything and re-sell for way higher, it works sometimes and doesn't work sometimes.

-1 /notsigned™ What about them? Why is it ok to cry about things missed in video games and demand they be given again but nowhere else, such as the 1984 Olympic medal? So what? We all have lives outside of this game and every day decisions are made on what we do with our time and money. No. It's way over the top and completely insane just cuz you can't do a tiny portion of a game but 99.34% of the rest of the game is available to you. Locked content is *not* ridiculous since it was offered to entice people to subscribe and keep the game going and people that chose to not support the game can keep crying and people that had other reasons can just get over it. No, they shouldn't. At the very least people should realize that they can't have everything they want in life and that throwing tantrums about it is pathetic.

In their never-ending mission to make SWTOR as dumb and easy as possible I'm surprised this hasn't been implemented yet. Since me and one companion can already plow through everything without sweating, adding another one or two (to make a full 4-man group) companions doesn't exactly break the game. If being even more overpowered is a concern then how about making each extra companion you have with you reduce the overall "strength" of the group by 25%? Except you, of course, you'd still be 100% you. Besides, how cool would it be to have a nice Havoc squad gang running around? I personally love to make my team look like a team but then I'm only allowed to have one of them with me which sucks. It's not even about micro-managing, we could never hope to actually do a flashpoint that has any mechanics, cuz they already think we're too dumb and useless as it is. Just look at Jesus Bot, we can't control it at all, it just tags along, so why not replace that with one or more of our own companions? I just want to be a tank, have 2 DPS and 1 Healer with me, and run around as a group. Sort of agree. I think they shouldn't have gone as far as they did by making everyone a cookie-cutter. It destroys any kind of "specialness" to their characters. If anything, I'd have liked them to have them do roles that "make sense". For example, Mako could be a Healer or DPS, but not a Tank. Khem could be a Tank or DPS, but not a Healer, that sort of thing. But the way it is right now, having Vette tanking with her 2 peashooters is just stupid.

-1 /notsigned™ Sounds like you just want a one-button-instant-everything. Crafting *is* playing the game. Crafting *is* a part of the game you play. People who are successful at it work hard at it and if you want to be a good crafter you need to put the effort in as well, just as if you wanted to be good a PvP or GTN. The fact that they upped the number of companions you can send to 8 and gave ridiculous speed/critical bonuses to them is plenty enough as it is. Just like making missions Q-able so you can do 20 slicing missions overnight would be ridiculous and so would this.

Your solution is neither cheap nor easy... ... or else these things that we've been asking for and were hinted at being implemented years ago would already be in place.

I don't remember seeing anything along these lines. At all. Ever. There are plenty of people wanting items (weapons, mounts, etc) but I can't remember seeing any discussion or feedback pertaining to how the CM operates. Nobody has ever said "man, I wish the CM had a 'last viewed item' button or something, cuz that's what will bring back subscribers'. What I *do* see constantly is the same things over and over and over again (ie. Quality of Life, bug fixes, etc) that never get addressed. This is the kind of feedback you should be looking at, not some non-existent CM interface or sorting-by categories. Yet you say more work on the CM is coming based on our feedback? This is just a sick joke at this point and I'm wondering if it's not just some social experiment to see how awful you guys can treat your players before we finally just all quit. How far can you bend us before breaking. I really have no valid reason to explain why I still support the game at all. Come on.

...and yet another fail analogy. The Korrealis speeders were simply in-game items that were removed. They were *never* time-limited subscriber rewards. These things cannot be compared to each other.

As for not having 100% achievements... so what. People love to say how "completionist" or "OCD" they are so just so they can get stuffs they missed. Once you've gotten 100% in everything else then I'll yield to this line of reasoning.

I hate it. It's tragic how stupid-easy the game is now.

My ‘gender phobic’ comment was a joke cuz it’s so ridiculous. I got the idea from PC Principal on South Park. Cuz trOllP reports any comment that they don’t like and the moderators are too scared of upsetting trOllP further they pretty much have auto-delete on speed dial. Although, with everyone walking on eggshells about gender equality and sexism these days it’s probably not such a ridiculous statement after all but definitely right up trOllP’s alley. It also looks like trOllP got their fill of attention tokens for the weekly and has stopped until they get reset tomorrow.
