Why should a game be brain-dead easy? Why don't these people just pop a pill to relax if they can't be bothered to learn how to play a game? And good work trying to bring a pregnant woman in here to support your own foolish desires for a one-click-win game. I'm sure she appreciates it, as well as many other mothers and mothers-to-be that seem to be able to handle and relax in a game that somehow you have so much trouble with.

Referral scammers are worse than gold farmers cuz they try and sweet-talk and trick people that don't know any better into clicking their link so they can get Cartel Coins and buy packs and make zillions on the GTN. Here's what I do: 1) In chat type: PSA - DON'T FALL FOR REFERRAL SCAMS 2) Laugh at how the scammer rages and cries trying to defend their scam, saying it's legit and Bioware allows it (which they don't, cuz I get them banhammered all the time), a few will agree, but most will tell the scammer to get lost 3) Send in a ticket for "Inappropriate Player Behavior" 4) /friend the scammer with 'Referral Scammer' as a comment (this is so you can see they're gone after a few days and if they *do* make it back they aren't scamming any longer) 5) Profit Isn't it funny how the scammers never mention how hard they benefit from your click with Cartel Coins? Yep, funny how they always leave that part out.

Unfortunately, in their endless efforts to dumb-down SWTOR so even Forrest Gump can be a pro they removed companion gearing a long time ago.

Could someone familiar with both games please tell me what would the closest WoW mirrors to the following SWTOR classes would be: Sage/Sorcerer Heals Trooper/Mercenary Heals Guardian/Jugg Tank Trooper/Bounty Hunter Tank Gunslinger/Agent DPS Guardian/Jugg DPS I tried Google and found a few pertaining to Vanillla WoW, but I understand there's a lot more classes now. I have no advice but I'd like to give props to teabags for the great effort in trying to actually do this on their own and spending time to figure it out *before* coming here. A rarity these days. Most people try these things once and then immediately come in here screaming for nerfs cuz they can't one-shot bosses or have used a token to insta-level and haven't actually learned how to play. *clap* *clap* *clap*

You're talking about the people that want what they don't have, right? Cuz those are the suddenly-lawyers that are looking for legal loopholes and definitions to refute what any sane and rational person understands what "final" and "last chance" mean.

They will, only they'll probably just give it away without the duration requirements. They've proven time and again they award whining and begging and ignore logic and reason so it's only a matter of time.

Thanks for the great advice. I've been hanging on so hard for SWTOR to be enjoyable for me again and it just isn't and the Shae/Nico thing finally pushed me away. What about Wow? My other option is to save up for a PS4 and play Battlefront since I just read they got rid of the loot crate system.

FFS they whine about everything. EVERYTHING. They finally get what they want and it's *still* not enough. Can't even be bothered to do MINIMAL EFFORT of ACTUALLY PLAYING. FFS

My subscription runs out in 119 days. I'm sure many of you have played other MMOs so maybe you can help me out here. The first 2-3 years of SWTOR (my first MMO) were awesome, until they decided to dumb it down to Forrest Gump levels of brain damage. In terms of gameplay, companion skills, exploring, etc what would you guys recommend I could turn to after this?

It's pretty amazing that someone can actually think that saying the ones they want matter to story and lore and all these other ones don't. It's just more proof that people who don't have <stuff> but want <stuff> will say and do anything to try and win them points to get <stuff> and, has been proven once again, they always cave to these people. They ignore hundreds of other suggestions to help the game, suggestions on Quality of Life features, enhancements, storylines, etc and continue to just put lipstick on the pig. I'm pretty sure we all knew this was coming at some point but when it finally did arrive it's still a shock that they would actually be so desperate.

It's not even about the companion. It could be a pet, a mount, or a bag of dirt, it's what it REPRESENTS and what it REPRESENTS is when they offered a time-limited and exclusive incentive to subscribe and now by just awarding it to Jenny Newsub they've completely destroyed any faith I have in the system. I have a few things that REPRESENT my long-standing loyalty and support, in some cases when they really needed it to keep the lights on, and now all they REPRESENT are lies. For me, yes, it was the last straw, since I've been not enjoying myself for months now, and once they lose trust like this it's pretty much a done deal.

So if the game is going away why do *you* care so much what other people think about this particular situation?

I'm grateful, actually, this is exactly the push I needed to finally unsubscribe. EDIT: Frustratingly, I still have 123 days left cuz I can't insta-cancel. *sigh* Here are my exit reasons I gave them: Giving away previous limited time "subscribe by/during this time" rewards finally pushed me out. Other reasons: - No new events - Chapters and one-story-fits-all are a total failure - Dumbing-down the game (remove Willpower, Cunning, etc) so every single moron can just one-click and win everything - Cookie-cutter companions, and too many of them, that don't mean **** - Legacy Datacrons - You never listen to what people want from the game and instead do stuff that nobody asked for, unless it requires no effort to implement or you can sell on the CM F*** you guys.
