  1. Define interesting RP. My guild Nightlife has an interesting play but we are being rather particular with our recruiting.
  2. Honestly both sides have their moment of unbearable badness. We in Nightlife switch sides based on our tolerance at the time for badness.

  6. that's because they use a data warehouse imo. There are much better ways to analyze big data problems, it's much harder to encode a priori and a posteriori knowledge into a 3rd normal form data warehouse, for example the ability to see that in if you are a sorc, PT, or assassin it's much more normal to place in T1 given historical data. and I'm a semantics (relationships and patterns) guy, I can't imagine what a few of the stat/fusion guys at work would do =D
  7. Juggs are in an interesting class and place. They're pretty easy to pick up but harder to master because they don't have a lot of great tools for affecting the match as other DPS classes so you have to play it near perfectly to really affect a high end ranked match. Meaning I can play 70-80% of my skill cap as a mara and to match the same level I have to play 100% to my skill cap as a jugg to get the same results ( assuming my skill cap is the same for both classes )
  8. Yep, accuracy has horrible gains because of PvE and alacrity is good to a point but I found way more success with a 74% surge and 5% alacrity than 9% alacrity and 70% surge. Also I don't stat accuracy because it gains suck and for Veng/Vigil riposte can crit for a decent amount.
  9. It is bad design to have reusables like that. I can mass produce both grenades and stims without that much effort. Current implementation is best. I would like to see Cartel Market items craftable ( requiring certs to craft each one of them ), but that's a whole other issue.

    I dual queue for yolos and GSF all the time, and yes I leave the GSF matches.
  11. Hey Krukk, Good to see you're moving over here. As for Pubside guild's I would recommend RoH, Regulators or Sokan who I think have a pvp guild now.

  15. Thank you for posting this at the start of the season Alex, lets people plan and should take away some of the anxiety about having lower ELO, increasing more participation.
  16. I personally believe Roll needs to be adjusted because it's bad for counter play, that being said at the same time when roll is nerfed something else needs to be buffed or created. The core problem is that roll addresses two problems, mobility and burst defense. Roll should remain as a mobility tools and something else with the operative's toolkit should be made for burst mitigation. Countermeasures might be a good tool for that.

  18. Transcendent Order will have people in yolos and work on our team though I don't expect s to be quite as competitive as teams like Nerd and Chewy.

  20. Schematic comes in a box. I wish they would just list those crystal schematics on the pvp vendors, can make it cost 10k comms, anything is better than current implementation.

One of my guildies use to play Operative a lot and now doesn't because of lethalities issues and how OP the roll is, and suggested it be replaced for Concealment with a short duration combat cloak that doens't break combat ala Mara's cloak. Another idea was to give a longer lasting but less powerful damage reduction, say an additive 20-35% for 4s after a roll. Concealment is in an interesting place, the roll is most assuredly overpowered in a good players hands, but without a suitable replacement concealment would be pretty weak.
  23. Horizontal progression doesn't have to be bad. Just needs to be implemented well.
  24. I will say the last time a Star Wars MMO tried that it didn't go so well for anyone.
