  1. Very disappointing so far. I was hoping this was going to be a mini version of the fire sales in the past, just instead of a new item every hour, more like one item a day. It is Christmas after all, give us a break!. If this is going to be just rotating out old cartel stuff for a day at a time, I won't be buying anything. P.S. I was able to bring back old friends to the game to re-check it out in the past when fire sales were going, such as Treek. I know of two people who subbed just because I told them to re-download the game, get a great deal. and have fun playing with me. I'm not calling any friends over an old gambling pack.
  2. Lol, that is the funniest thing I have read from a Bioware person in a while. It's nice to see a sense of humor pop up in yellow posts. Three years ago I recall my friends and I all discussing what we were going to do when the servers launched. Most of us were in at least one of the many Betas, so we had some idea what we were in for. We knew what server our guild was on and that we were all starting republic, but there was still some debate on which class to start, due to the starting planet differences and then later subsequent AC.
  3. I'm pretty sure a lot of people think it would be much appreciated if this wasn't changed. If the devs focus on this and not fixing bugs, then /fail
  4. Why are you sitting on the floor? They added the ability for everyone to sit on the furniture. Just type /chair
  5. This is a case of the customers asking for opposite things. What is the developer to do? I recall early on in the game, people asked for events like this and wanted for there to be little information. The devs decided to experiment by doing just that with the first rakghoul outbreak, which was a huge success. Due to feedback, they keep doing what we seem to like. Based on what I have seen from my time playing since Beta, the OP is in the minority. tldr: People have been asking for the opposite of what the OP is asking for.
  6. What about the Nautolan Pyrotechnics Expert? You did not explicitly call out if that was obtainable or not. If it is not obtainable, will it be obtainable in the future?
  7. He is asking for the priority travel terminal you find in daily areas to be a functioning decoration that we can place in our strongholds. Many people are already in their strongholds and to travel quickly to a daily area requires traveling to the fleet to use the terminal, which we would like to bypass if we already had the terminal in our stronghold to begin with.
  8. To Any Bioware Employee: If you are considering working on a Rishi stronghold, I have but one request. I would like a somewhat hidden (easy to find, but out of the way) room expansion that involves going into an underground cave, with a waterfall in the cave. Think of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland, when you first go down into the caves. Also, perhaps a small area in that cave where there is some glass where we could see the water and fish swimming around? That would be to thrown a bone to all of the people who want a Manaan stronghold with an underwater view, in the event that you are not creating a Manaan stronghold. Thank you
  9. I agree, I want travel terminals for my stronghold, but not via cartel coins. Like the op said, maybe this could be purchased from a vendor via dark projects? I also like the idea of acquiring a travel terminal after reaching a certain reputation amount from an area. For example, If you reach legendary rep with Oricon, the reputation vendor could sell a terminal for your stronghold to take you to Oricon.
  10. As I think this more through, changing the holo skill trainers to be a portable cargo bay while in the wild would be a great replacement to their current functionality, if skills were to auto-train on level up.
  11. My vote, make skills automatically train on level up, and change all of the holo trainers to give you access to you cargo bay while out in the wild.
  12. Hello, With the recent change that all trainable skills are now free, I would like to recommend that all skills be trained automatically, meaning we would no longer need to go see a skill trainer. The current step of seeing a skill trainer is just a time sink for most people, and for those with a callable skill trainer holo statue (like myself), it requires a few extra mouse clicks that, although is not much of a time sink, is really unnecessary at the same time. The largest downside to my suggestion is that those who currently own any of the holo skill trainers will have the item rendered useless. I would like to suggest that if all skills be trained automatically, please re-purpose the existing holo skill trainers into a different type of vendor (letting us choose options would be best), such as a vendor who sells crafting supplies or something else (I'm sure others have better ideas). Thanks.
  13. Thank you for making this change. If training is now going to be free, could you just grant the upgrade automatically so we do not have to go see a trainer at all? If you do that, I only ask that you re-purpose the existing holo trainers to be vendors or something else of some sort. Thanks!
  14. The CZ-198 reputation vendor is selling 162 rated weapons for elite comms. Since we can go to the fleet and buy 172 rated items for basic comms, shouldn't this vendor be updated to accept basic comms instead of elite?
  15. What is the change/fix to the "Smuggler's Gambit" slot machine decoration?
  16. I believed that Taris would be a horrible place for a stronghold. Hidden lab? Now I want it
  17. Thanks for the concede, not many on the net do that. I was at the Phx, Az, cantina event and I do recall a dev saying he really wanted to do multi-spec, but if they did it, then something else wasn't going to get worked on. It's a matter of prioritization. I'm not sure who all heard that, but the fact that it came up is documented here: http://ootinicast.com/2014/02/community-cantina-phoenix/ So in a way, you are correct, it isn't coming anytime soon. Long term, only Bioware knows but we can classify it as a possibility.
  18. Did you read the article? He says no to changing your advanced class, but says that dual-spec is in the works. This topic is not about advanced class change, but about dual spec.
  19. This is speculation, but I think they are trying to tackle an old problem they have had. Twi'lek head tales. Everyone knows there are issues with Twi'leks, with hoods, and other headgear. If they can put some additional work into that, a chunk of that work will not be wasted by adding in Togruta which is very similar to Twi'leks. In other words, fix the Twi'lek kinks and you can kill two birds with one stone.
  20. I believe many would disagree with that. You still have account unlocking with the CM armor to make it desirable, even if an appearance tab was opened up to armor types. Also, nearly all vanilla armor has a different appearance per faction, while the CM armor does not. Many people have stated, myself included, that we would purchase more cartel armor if an appearance tab was implemented. Further more, the Cartel Market will always be competitive as many unique looks only come from the Cartel Market.
  21. People don't like being told how to play, and some enjoy multiple aspects of the game at the same time. Having two gear sets in themepark MMOs, either one for PVP and PVE, or two sets for different talent trees for different gameplay types such as one for DPS and one for Tanking, one for DPS for a certain Raid boss and another DPS set maximized for a different Raid boss, is not anything new. What people have come to expect, is a quality of feature to better manage these scenarios. Currently, SWTOR is a bit lacking in this department for the individuals who fall into this situation.
  22. As long as they make the weight class adaptive while they are at it!
  23. I play on the Bastion (PVP server) and a couple nights ago I was logged on as an Imp in Oricon and I was PVP flagged, but came across Pubs that were not flagged. Last night, I was in Oricon as a Pub and I did not auto-flag to PVP as I should have. All of the Imps I cam across were flagged and some Pubs were as well. I didn't have it on and shut off, the flag was just never on to begin with. Something isn't working right, although I can't confirm if it just pub side or if both sides have the bug.
  24. I don't think I agree with your suggestion, but your gripe is 100% valid, as well as those who fully design a place intended to be minimalistic in design. The mechanic needs some work/re-design.
