  1. I have an idea for stronghold related daily/weekly quests, which could be used to reward more unique decorations, or perhaps a token currency to a new stronghold decoration vendor. My idea is to have a quest terminal you would have in your stronghold and you can activate one stronghold quest at a time. Some decorations can have an impact on the quests themselves. My ideas are below. Let me know what you think! Dailes The Heist – The power to your stronghold has been cut, and sleeping gas is spreading throughout the stronghold. All of your personnel are passed out on the floor (you receive a dot). A few thieves have broken into your stronghold and are trying to steal an item in a random location of your stronghold. You have 60 seconds to find them and prevent them from stealing your stuff. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Alarms. When placed in a room, the alarm will make a sound and flash on your mini-map if the thieves hit that room. Alarms only work for the room they are placed in. The existing security camera decoration would also work in this capacity • Backup generator. Part of the lights are still working in some rooms. • Air Filtration System. You no longer receive a dot from the gas. As this item is upgraded or more are placed, some personnel might not pass out and can help alert you to the thieves presence or block getaway paths. • Anti-Personnel turrets. The Hunted – An assassin has entered your home. Find him and kill him before he kills you. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Anti-stealth generator. If the killer is a melee NPC, he will not be able to use stealth to get close to you. • Anti-Personnel turrets will shoot at non-stealth NPCs In Cold Blood – A murder has taken place in your stronghold. Question the NPCs to figure out who the murderer is. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • I’m out of ideas Rodent problem – You have a rodent problem. Find how they are getting into your stronghold and eliminate them at the source. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Traps? I’m out of ideas The Tour – Give a special NPC a tour of the house. The more rooms unlocked and unique decorations used, the more impressed the guest is. The greater the impression, the reward scales up. Get achievements for different NPCs that might show up. Unique trophies only count for full points if less than X number are used, while greater than X number causes those decorations to count for zero points. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Any high volume of unique decorations Spring Cleaning – Clean some random areas. Garbage nodes randomly appear in the stronghold and must be found and cleaned under a time limit. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Setting your ship droid in your stronghold will give an additional bonus to this quest, causing less nodes to appear. • Acquiring a cleaning droid decoration will follow you and clean the nodes for you (like gathering), but the droid “cleans” the node much faster than you. Host a party – a bunch of NPC guests arrive and are walking all around your stronghold. You have a time limit to ensure that they are entertained. With the help of some droids you can give commands to such as passing out drinks or (I don’t know?) you try to keep the guest happiness level high. Depending on the crowd, some actions might irritate the crowd and the party could be a bust. Once the party is over, the reward is scaled based on how happy they were. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • The astromech serving droid (existing item for carter certs) • Bartender (existing item for carter certs) • Waitress (existing item for carter certs) • Dancers (existing item for carter certs) Weekly Home Invasion – a group of mercenaries are trying to take you out. Defeat multiple waves of enemies. Having more guard style personnel causes less mercenaries to appear. Acquiring the following decorations can make this quest easier: • Guards. The more guards you have, the less mercenaries appear. • Various turrets (manned turret blaster, anti-personnel turrets) will lower the health of mobs. Thoughts?
  2. You realize we can sit with the /sit command, right? It will actually cause you to sit on an invisible chair, so you can just position yourself near a chair and use that command. There is one for sleeping on a bed too, but I don't recall if it is /sleep or not. They came out with those emotes for everyone even F2P when strongholds launched.
  3. Why cartel market? We need more decorations that can come from playing the game, not gambling packs. Personally, I would love to see more open world drops besides datacron decos. We need a variety of ways to get this stuff, not all of it constrained to one path (cartel market).
  4. That is an impressive list. I have some general suggestions below. A priority travel terminal. This is the terminal that lets you go to the daily areas, as seen on the fleet and the daily areas. A wider variety of lights that provide ambient light that do not come from the cartel market and are easily accessible to players. More items that make ambient sound. More personnel. I would like to see personnel in different poses such as sitting, or let us change the poses of personnel. I have all of these chairs and no one is sitting in them. It would be great if some could also walk pre-determined paths. An alternative to display armor than the current system of using companions. One issue with companions is that there is certain armor that they cannot wear. For example, any piece of armor with a class restriction.
  5. It would be nice to get a yellow reply stating anything. If they can't do it, tell us. If they are going to make at some point, tell us. If they simply think it is a cool idea and want to pass it along, please tell us. The silence is killing us here.
  6. I would be ok if certain hats just had their own hair as part of the hat. For example, take a look at this picture: http://33.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m8pim5ANik1r7mebbo2_500.gif If the hair on the back of Nico's head was part of the cowboy hat he wears, I would be ok with that. Maybe make a few different versions that simply have different hair sticking out. If the hair color automatically updated to your hair color or if a dye would change it, it would at least be better than where we are now.
  7. My first reaction to reading this post is "This is why we can't have nice things!" If I was a dev and constantly saw posts like this, I would be discouraged from posting at all. I'm not saying we don't need things fixed or other stuff posted about, but we should not ever be discouraging yellow posts on any topic for any reason. I figure if they post enough, at some point they will post on the stuff we care about on that day.
  8. Gotta have the entire outfit. We need a new mustache too.
  9. No no, he miss typed. He meant he has 60 level 12s. With no advanced class. Each has beaten every Nim Op as well.
  10. PVP gear has a stat called expertise, which is essentially the PVP stat. If you get really into PVP, you will start acquiring PVP gear with that stat on it. You can use your ops gear in PVP due to the bolster system that works in PVP, however you will always be less effective than someone with a higher expertise stat than you. Others can expain the bolster system better than I if you get into it. TLDR: Yes, if you do PVP and Ops you will have two sets of equipment.
  11. I requested something similar to this about a year ago at a cantina event. The dev I spoke to thought it was an interesting idea, but that simply they had more important stuff to work on. I'm paraphrasing obviously as it was a long time ago. My specific request was to allow users to to customize the appearance of a companion, via the appearance designer, including species changes on the companions.
  12. I am looking for an armormech crafter who can craft Underworld shells. These are ONLY learned via RE'ing underworld armor pieces that were bought with tokens from OPs. I have heard rumors that Verpine could be RE'ed, but I'm not for sure. If you can craft any of the underworld armor shells that can be learned by an armormech, please respond. I am in the marketing for multiple pieces. Thank you
  13. To All Bioware Posters: Hypothetically speaking, what sort of bribes would it take to get someone at your office to post a couple of juicy details about the up and coming outfit designer system sometime today? If such bribes were accepted (hypothetically), what sort of juicy details might someone divulge (hypothetically)?
  14. Rishi, if it is done Tattooine style with some hooks outside. I want a beach, and one unlockable room being a semi-secret underground cave with a waterfall in it. Think of the underground cave area in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland as the inspiration for the cave.
  15. I think we need to be careful when we try to read into the phrase "Outfit Designer". It is not called equipment designer or anything else to indicate that I you can "design" one specific item at a time. You could, however, argue that picking seven different existing items in game and throwing them together is designing an outfit. What does that mean? I think it's simply a fancy term for wardrobe. TLDR: Outfit Designer is probably a fancy term for wardrobe, nothing more.
  16. I would start pvping with my gunslinger again simply if the conqueror or firebrand chest was available again. I think that is the best smuggler type of chest armor, but currently the only way to acquire it in game is to run old NiM ops I think, which I don't do. Giving PvP'ers some options to get older stuff somehow, regardless if the name of the item is the same as it was or different, would be really nice and get some people like myself pvping again. The fact that you are discussing it is as a possibility is appreciated.
  17. Can we get a functioning Priority Transport Terminal decoration added to the utility decoration vendor on the fleet? That vendor has not seen an update since strongholds launched. This would be a perfect item to add!
  18. I would like a slightly modified version of the existing Jedi Battlelord armor, with the following differences: Armor should be adaptive Primary dye slot should be the robe/cloth Secondary dye slot should be the armor Two versions of the chest, one hood up and one hood down No class or level restriction Currently, the cloth robe of the Battlelord armor cannot be dyed. Whether this new requested set is a legacy set or a collections/cartel set doesn't matter, as long as a new set meets the items in the list above. Thank you!
  19. You are operating under the assumption that once you start your dailies for the day, you are done with them. It also doesn't take into account the daily design of Rishi. There are times where I might go to a daily area such as the Black hole and finish it up, leave to go do something else non-daily related, then decide to go to a different daily area. At that point I'm not anywhere near a terminal and I have to go to the fleet or for Rishi, my ship. To be honest, I am splitting hairs a bit. This is a not a game breaking thing by any means, just a nice QoL request.
  20. I don't think they should be legacy bound by default. Although the idea of the account unlock making it legacy bound is interesting, I think the best way is to allow a kit like augments to be crafted by crafters that can be used on any armor item is the way to go, that way we are not bound by cartel items only.
  21. Agreed, mainly for the purposes of diversity. The vanilla planets make you think all npcs have about 2-3 outfits per planet. There is so much more armor out there now, they might as well wear it. I don't care if it is cartel either, they could wear pvp or pve sets, whether new or retired.
  22. I wouldn't mind this as the solution if all entries in the daily terminal were available for unlock, AND if they had no cool down. Illum for example is not an unlock you can currently get. An unlock for Oricon exists, but once it is used it goes on cool down for about 6 hours. Those terminals are never on cool down. If we got the terminal for your strongholds, we would still have to port to our stronghold of course, but those load up much faster than the fleet. Forcing me to go to the fleet for a short time because my legacy abilities are on cool down is unnecessary.
  23. I've had an outstanding ticket for I *think* over a week now, as I can't claim an item from collections that I have paid for an account unlock (account unlock symbol is there too). So far, no response.
