Um, yeah. This is a terrible idea. Here is my feedback: Quit discussing and get this out for 1.2. Many of us have our orange gear ready to go. How are we supposed to get Aug slots on world drops? The guy above with his Augmentation Device has the simplest answer. If you want something more complex, have Armstech craft ADs for weapons, Synthweavers craft ADs for X number of armor pieces, Armortech for the other X pieces. Make the recipes for the ADs use the new raid level mats from 1.2. As a bonus to the crafter, give us the option of having an item guarantee an Aug Slot, but make it bound to legacy. That a way, my one Synthweaver can craft for all 4 of my Force Users.

In a couple of interviews the devs had sorta said that this is just phase 1 of the UI customization. After they have digested the comments and flames from 1.2, maybe we can have some more choices in a later patch. I kinda agree to this, but that is a lot of development resources to pour into something that a small part of the population would even notice. If each planet had its own cycle (so that every planet isn't dark at the same time) that would be cool. But I can see the forums the next day after this is patched in: "OMG!!! I logged out on this bright ice planet, now it is all black!!! Way to fail BW!!" I wish that they would poll people in game. Give us 5 or 10 items and tell us to rank them in importance.

This isn't Rift or WoW or Hello Kitty's Island. As far as I know, everything that was advertised is in the game. Now what you "reasonably" expected to be in the game, well only you can speak to that, and you haven't. April is the floated date for transfers. After then, we may get mergers. A title for forced renames (Binky, the Rejected) could be fun, but the amount of QQ would be enormous. Seriously, do a search and you'll find dozens of people claiming that having Sprint stay on after death was the death of this game. As someone who chose (most) of my names, especially my Legacy, with care, I hope they base the name changes (on forced moves) on the creation date of your name/legacy. You have to pay for aesthetics. The crystals are totally optional. You don't have to have them: you want them. L2 distinguish needs/wants. If you want them, do dailies, WZs, fly space missions, sell mats, and quit buying other stuff.

I like the idea that Nightmare gear has Aug slots. I'm hoping that they are giving crafters a sellable consumable that will punch aug slots in other gear: Force armor punchers from Synthweaving, etc.

Has there been any official announcement of pricing for the next PvP tier? If it is a token system and each piece costs, say, 80 tokens. You may get 1 token just for participating plus more for achieving objectives. The people who group in Vent will amass their tokens much faster than this theoretical random nub. If BW asked my opinion, I would tell them to not reward any tokens other than the new ones. This will cut down on fresh 50's queuing in ranked WZs. If they can't buy Cent or Champion from Ranked, they (in theory) would float back down to unranked because that would be easier to grind. Metioned at the summit was they wanted PvE and PvP gear to be even more different. This may help cut down on PvEers looking for quick gear. Also, has anyone said anything about the new system they are working on that will not award medals if you don't participate. (The following is speculation) Imagine Huttball, for example; what if they had a system that, if you DPS or Heal more than 50 meters away from the ball, you get zero credit on that. So if you play lone wolf in the zone, you will end up with no credit toward the goals, because you weren't part of the team. In summation, I don't believe this will be free epix, nor will it destroy the game for the serious business PvPers. To OP and teh raeg quitters: Can I have your stuff?

Speeder needs to go away. If BW wants some crappy movie, a quick breaching pod slamming though the roof and depositing us should be fine. On ALL movies that play, like this cut-scene or any of the planet take-offs/landings, there really should be a little check box in a corner that say "Skip this scene in the future." That way, everyone gets to see it once, and, if you wish, never again.

You've lost WZs because of this bug, specifically. Not because you couldn't hold a turret? What sort of situation would lead you to think that you lost because of this? You and the Emps grabbed the outside turrets at the exact same time, and the middle was never captured and you lost by 5 points? Suggestion, when you attack at the beginning of the match, since the East turret is so very OP, why don't you try to take it? Deprive the dirty Imperials of their super weapon.

Armor crafting does suck, atm, but weapons can be crafted with aug slots, but without the barrels, they aren't that great. Crafted medpacks and stims are better than the ones you buy. The crystal vendors are temporary money sinks to cut out some of the QQ while they put in the drops and recipes for the next raid tier.

I disagree with you, there. I think we, as a community, can come together to agree on a few underlying principles. I have no idea what they are, buy we should be able to manage it. BOT: I'll wait to see what sort of customization is coming before saying yea/nay to visual addons.

I hope it happens better than this. I created my name on the 16th of December and skipped a lot of questing to get the legacy name I wanted. Now if they combine servers, and randomly decide my server will be closed and folded into another, I would hate to lose a name I worked for to some guy who started months later than me.

As Ejas pointed out, spamming your buttons sends messages to the server. You can overload the I/O and will actually slow down your hits, not speed them up. TL;DR: button spamming is for baddies.

Be on the lookout on the weekends. On my server, there was a guild that had set themselves up with several sorcerers and were charging to pull people through to it. Was super fast. Was the best 100k I have spent in this game.

The change is so that, while the 3 seconds are counting down, if the attackers cap it, the speeder will disappear and you can't use it, so you have to use the middle speeder. This gives the new cappers a chance to set up a defense.
