The War Hero PvP armor and Campaign Armor (from the new Operation) are the only armor sets that have the set bonus attached to the Armor Mod. The older stuff (Tionese, Columni, Rakatta, Battle Master) the set bonus is attached to the armor piece itself. If you want a custom look, get your 5 pieces and pull the mods out of your chest and put them in a Orange chest. Not perfect, but it is a little customization I can use til I get some new stuff.

I came here to complain about having to open 26 boxes to get all 8, but reading that some opened 70+ and didn't get them makes me feel lucky. But, RNG on this is too stupid for words. The RNG has been taken off of most events for "Long, Strange Trip" for that other game. That bugs me too. It was even brought up at the Guild Summit, and the Devs didn't even realize that you couldn't add off-line friends! Insane. Why aren't your alts automatically added to your list?

I did this and I think It works great. I made myself two different Augmented chest pieces, one for PvP one for PvE. I like that I look a bit different from everyone else now. It may make me an easier target in WZs, but I am usually focused on anyway (it seems to me), so no big deal. As an aside, I bought the Battlemaster recipes to get an augmented pair of gloves. So the first Warhero piece I buy will be gloves.

I'll throw in and say that rewards stuck to a RNG is stupid. That other game figured that out, though it took them 5+ years with the Valentine event. Why can't BW learn from Bliz's mistakes as well as their successes? Otherwise, great event with great rewards.

Yeah! We should all be playing the way ferroz prefers just because ferroz prefers it that way. That is and will ever be your opinion. Devs had said they don't want to bring "real world" events into the game. Maybe when Kashyyyk is added we can get Life Day. Do you delete your character the first time you die? No? So you have already made compromises for this being a game. Why cant you RP your way around the plague? Or have your character profit off of it?

I kinda hate the way they did the gear in this. You have to do the dailies to unlock 1 more quest the next day. So to get all gear on 1 character, you have to run the dailies for 5 days, possibly in a row. I'm hoping that they put in something tomorrow or this weekend to let us buy/trade-in for the armor and customizations. I'm not buying anymore companion boxes until I see if they do.

You must never been in the forums during Children's Week or other events that required PvP involovement. You would think that the casuals were breaking into the SRS BZNESS PvPer's houses and pouring water on their computers.

First, it was not an attack. I don't know what the technical definition would be. Maybe some of the dueling Thesauruses can come up with a term. Second, it is something that can be remedied quickly, not only for free (on the fleet, for little cost elsewhere), but for a profit. I had mentioned somewhere else that people would complain if BW gave them free money. It is good to be proven right. I want to make some starter characters and see all the lowbies constantly getting exploded. 20 people quit because they couldn't take the time to check 4, 8, or 16 people's debuffs?
