  1. I have no idea how you guys constantly get those high numbers? Hence i"m almost full champion with 1300 strenght and 18k hp, i"m still not that strong.
  2. I brought a buddy with me and the Emperor one shot him lol Still, I killed the emperor in one attempt
  3. Best was: 450K Average: 200K I usually do not die much. Best MPV was 7
  4. Combat feels more star wars'ish. I actually don't understand why we even have dots... it's a silly thing to have as a Jedi Knight. I greatly greatly agree that Combat is more fun to play.
  5. I disagree on that but that's a matter of perception I guess. I find Watchmen tedious at times where you need to lock on someone, make sure all your dots are on him and that no one dispelled them. Oops, you just did merc slash and now you don't have enough focus to get those dots back on... stuck using strike to get that back while Zealous cooldowns. It's not hard in the sense that you'll never be good at it but one mistake or sudden change of situation and you're out of Focus. Of course, if you practice and perfect your rotations and all, you'll never run into that problem. Now, I never said combat was easy mode or bad. However, without having dots to manage, it is a lot more straight forward. It is indeed, a completely different style of play and overall, Sentinels requires a certain level of concentration to be efficiently played. Yes, you have those dire moments where you need to get all those hits within a certain amount of time (which is completely retarded) however, outside of that, focus is a lot easier to manage and because you do not need to rely on dots, it's a a lot more straight forward. If you're combat spec user, no one here is saying that you're playing ease mode. Sentinel is a complex class to play on its own.
  6. - Watchmen It's the most reliable and constant. Without centering stacks and zen, you're doing a very decent amount of damage on a consistent base. Merc Slash will be your burst but it is indeed very focus intensive. It's the hardest spec to play in the game and that's after playing pretty much every class with every spec at least a few nights in a row. Dispell will screw you up but in truth, it rarely happens in a WZ. Your dots are fast and efficient. In Zen mode, Watchmen is a 1 on 1 terror and NOTHING should actually survive you. Zen is our WIN button. - Combat Combat seems stronger and that's because in a huge battle, you'll fight someone a few seconds and move on. That's where combat shines... you Tab someone, unleash on him and move on. If your lucky, you'll kill him in one combo volley. You can drop a cloth wearer to 10% hp in one single combo. It's fast and very brutal/efficient but not as constant. In a longer fight, you're not going to grow stronger. Overall, it's easier to play combat and a lot more fun but the truth is, Watchmen is still superior in every sense of utility, damage and sustainability.
  7. I like the faster leveling. I dislike leveling and would rather not have to deal with it as a whole but that's me. I'm glad that I can level up a character to 50 in only a few weeks of casual play. Though when you hit 50, you're nothing compared to the higher tier L50. Initial L50, I was 12K hp in purple gear. 2 Weeks later, I'm 18K hp and all...
  8. Right now, Bioware keep saying everything will rock as of Patch 1.2 This seems to be their bet and that's where we will clearly see if this game has a chance to grow or if the future is not as bright as we would like it to be. Personally, I love this game so I really hope that 1.2 shows that Bioware have the capability to turn some those tides around. For now, that's their BET and I hope they cash in. Once 1.2 is out, we will see if this game is going to last or not.
  9. Watchmen is very constant and if you know the basics, you'll do great with it. It's the EASIEST spec to use but the hardest to master. If you're not careful, you'll end up using Strike as an attack because everything else is on cooldown. Yes, you can indeed burst but don't expect the kind of burst Combat pull out. If you're playing against someone that is good at cleansing the burns, your DPS will dramatically drop. It's overall the best spec to use but the most boring in my opinion. Combat is not as constant and requires a huge build up. You won't get that kind of built in at least 50% of your fights. However, when you do have a full bar of Focus and a 30 stacks of Zen, you will kill anything in front of you. The Master Strike, Riposte, Precision, Blade Storm and Blade Rush combo will drop any cloth to 10% HP. Combat feels powerful and you get to see huge numbers popping up. It's also the most fun spec to use but it is overall weaker than Watchmen. Until they fix Combat, I prefer using Watchmen. Focus is a little mix of both worlds. Good burst but not as high as Combat and constant DPS that remains slightly a bit under Watchmen. You have good roots and can control the flow of a fight better. It's also the easiest spec to use but the weakest of the 3. It's not bad but just not as efficient in certain areas.
  10. My personal solution would be. - Leave once, nothing happens (once every 24 hours is fine) - Leave a second time, you lose 50% of your commendation (WZ) - Leave a third time, you lose 50% of your Merc commendation - Leave a fourth time, you're banned from 24 hours from WZ Seriously, you think people left in the middle of a match back in the Quake 3, RTCW or even CS days? - You left in the middle of a match, you were soon looking for a new clan or simply banned from competition for the rest of the season. It should be extremely severe. Ever if you're carrying your team, sportsmanship should exist. There is no excuse to rage quit a WZ... zero expertise? Well guess what, we were all under 100 expertise when we landed our L50. Some of us knew better and managed to boost this up quickly but for the most part, people don't know about that when they hit L50. You got to give people a chance.
  11. This is a win/win scenario and one I hope for my kid and I. Dad and daughter connecting and having a great time together sharing something that they both adore. She and you are living a magic moment and it's very inspiring Adorable little girl you have too haha!
  12. Sorry ladies but if you wear a skirt... It's not even because I'm a perv, it's just for laughing out loud at the instant OMG reaction. Am going to hell right? BTW:
  13. Starkiller is canon and like it or not, he is officially a Lucas character and he's actually not even dead. That means, while Luke is doing his thing and rebuilding the Academy, Starkiller exist and is probably more powerful than him. The issue that Starkiller had was his emotion and his completely insane tortured life. Vader tortured him to be a warrior and his only major weakness was his emotions that constantly played against him. If Starkiller received enough time to heal and perhaps some counselling, he would become a more stable person that means, he could become even stronger. He lost against the Emperor only because of his emotion and trickery... The only time Vader or the Emperor had the upper hand was because their wear toying with his emotions and unstable state of mind. A focused Starkiller would crush pretty much anything and that's pretty much the end of it. The books and games clearly defines him as a pure force machine. However, I think what makes Starkiller a very powerful foe is his fighting style. His dual saber technique and unpredictable attacks can be quite a nightmare to deal with.
  14. In many cases it's all about perception! When I was playing Empire, my guildies used to say how rude and childish the Republic players were. Eventually we moved to Republic and my guild is saying the exact same thing about the Empire. Your side is always better. I do agree that Empire tends to have more chatterbox type of players but that's again, a matter of perception.
  15. LeZag - This is my main character and the name was simply a little add to my usual name: Zag Exia - In honor to my favorit Gundam and seriously, it's just a great sounding name. Jedi Sage Healer.
  16. 6 second kicks Force Stasis Force Leap Healer cannot do a single thing against you. You'll make him panic and he will die in a flash.
  17. Combat spec is only good once you hit L40 Without Blade Rush, you're wasting your time. Watchman is efficient the moment you hit the second tier. The only problem is that Watchman is quite taxing on smashing your face on the keyboard.
  18. After playing with each spec, getting into champion gear (finishing my set...) and doing fairly good in PVP. I feel that cooldowns are what really plays against us. I wouldn't say, make everything instant but Global Cooldown should be tweaked to allow us to effectively hit faster. if it's not the cooldown, a base damage boost is needed. We don't need much, just a little tweak to make us dangerous. Our shields... rebuke and saber ward. Great in concept and definitively useful but come on, boost this up a bit. Rebuke at 50% damage reduction would still keep us balanced with everyone else. Saber Ward might as well get a 1 minute cooldown instead of 3. Jedis are known for dodging things and yet in this game, we're known for dying. I have no idea how some people can get that much DPS with Combat or Focus but for me, Combat and Focus are lacking compared to Watchman. I prefer Combat just because it's a lot more fun to play with but Watchman ensures that I will do decent on a more constant base. Combat, I will only do great in "sunny" situations.
  19. I'm probably from a different planet for saying this but I like Ilum. I think it's lacking and was extremely poorly implemented to the point that the person that added this planet should get fired for incompetence but I do like Ilum. It has potential and if BW enhances the gameplay for this planet, I believe we could see something very solid in the future. Right now, the major problem I see is that people go in, get their daily and weekly done then leave. There's no REASON to stay on Ilum and that's where it sucks. Ilum tries to play like a battlefield game except it fails at balancing it out. WZ are fun post L50, once you hit L50... you hit hell for a few weeks. There's not a single thing you can do to a Battlemaster geared player until you actually start getting some pieces yourself.
  20. What I hate about all this travel non-sense is that... 1... you don't actually get to socialize during the travel time 2... there's no VALID reasons to go on an Orbital station. There's nothing to do on them. 3... loading screen after loading screen 1... Shuttle that comes every 5 minutes might sound ridiculous but trust me, that's where most people would get to know each other. It worked on WOW, it worked on SWG and it worked on Planetside. It's a proven concept that while it may look tedious, the boring moments are enhance by the social aspect. 2... Orbital station serves ZERO purposes. Ok, one NPC that gives you a mission? Aside from that, there's no reason to even stay there for more than a few seconds. 3... less loading screen, less time wasted staring at nothing and better immersion.
  21. Zag Hazumason CEO of Revolution Industries on Sunrunner. (Rebel alliance) Simply put... We were the Rebel Alliance on our server. We left in 2004 and people were still talking about us in 2007.
  22. Why ask for a raise when you can just take all the shares?
  23. Corellia! Big cities, women, booze and clubs! I do like Voss though
  24. SWG2 would fail. SWG was never a good game. People made it good because of the sandbox elements. Seriously, you could do the same on the Sims Online minus the Star Wars theme. People need to realize that SWG was a bad game from the get go... it never had more than 150K subs... I too loved SWG but to even remotely lie to myself that it was the best game? no.. It was the best Social Experience that i've lived on a game. Correct and that's about it.
