It wouldn't surprise me if more went on under the hood than was listed, seems like very little for a 100mb patch.

They probably won't be up until near the end of the downtime, as usual. 4 hours left on it assuming it goes full length so you could have a wait on yer hands.
Chances are it's fixes rather than additions.

You have it wrong. Active Subscribers get a pet. Level 50's get 30 days. Former players who come back get 7 days.

We are being given 30 days playtime added? Where does it say that I never read anything like that? What happens with people that already paid time in game card form and is using it like that? Or is the statement you are referring to "Active subscription" Just mean have current time and able to play, rather than (BW's term) set up for future payments...
It's just really pissing me off, 3 downtimes in 1 week, 4 , 6 and an 8 hour thus far.... and all during either the day for me (not early, like smack right in the middle of the day)
As long as you have current paid time, you don't need a subscription cycle.

I noticed that last night too, had to restart a couple of times as combat noises weren't coming through. Not to mention the terrible constant ship taking off noise on the fleet -.-

1pm - 5pm for downtime is a bit of an odd time, pretty late by eastern US times too compared to usual.

I see the 30 days isn't being added until the 24th which is about a week after subs run out for those of us here since launch.

It's there but looks better on some armor models that others. I don't notice much difference on my juggernaut for example but i do on my sorc.

Lol... I un-subscribe to change to an alternate payment method (gone from credit to pay card) but because I wont be using till the 17th, ill be missing out on a free £8.99 value month?
I miss out on the free week mostly aswell because my subscription doesn't run out till half way through.
Seem's like im being punished here.
As long as your account has play time on it today then youll get the 30 days, at least that's how i read it.

Expertise is boosting damage much more than mitigation or healing, not by massive amounts but it's likely contributing some to it.

you can buy the pvp crafting boxes with the champ ones and a small lvl 24 credit case with the centurian. That's about it as far as i remember.

Last match i did before logging off was a loss and gained 3.5k valor, was about 11 medals iirc.

Both times i've played huttball this afternoon on the losing side i had 11 & 13 medals, valor was fine at around 3.5k but the commendations were kinda sucky at around 40. Wouldn't be so bad if we gained more comms from winning but i seemed to be getting around the same for a win as we did pre-patch.
Not so much an issue when on my imp toons as we tend to win most of our matches but a killer on the republic side where a win is rare.

Once I read the whole Jump To Lightspeed package took 9 months of development. Just saying.
Hope BW is feverishly working on a space expansion pack similiar to that.
They strongly hinted that the first expansion is space based in an interview before launch, but i guess you never know with Bioware.

Your 250mbps connection wouldn't have helped much as the patcher only went at 5MB/s ish, still plenty fast enough though and was done quickly.

It's going to be interesting to see the convertion rate for Warzone Comms to Ranked Comms. If it's 1:1 everyone will be in full War Hero before ranked matches get added at this rate.
