  1. There should be an exemption for bringing in a new character into a guild that the Legacy is already in, but since no exemption exists for the Conquest point restriction I highly doubt there will be one for this matter.
  2. They claim to have fixed Khem's stronghold decoration with patch 7.2.1, but it is still broken. I bug reported it on 30 March. The stronghold decorations for Kira, Scourge, and Jakarro are also still broken years later. Honestly, with the way the game is maintained by BW, it can only be a good thing that it is going to Broadsword. If it is in maintenance mode then we can at least stop expecting BW to ever fix anything, but maybe under Broadsword they can actually focus on fixing some bugs. At least from what I see in regards to UO there is some hope that going to Broadsword will not mean maintenance mode.
  3. *Two* companions capable of healing. Everyone seems to forget that, although certainly not the best for the job, the ship droid could always be used as a healer.
  4. Ha ha! You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - the most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Asia" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never tell people on the internet something without expecting them to concoct wild theories of doom and gloom."
  5. It is, and it is not. One hundred billion is the soft cap, which you can exceed, as you note, but once that value is exceeded you can not add any more. If you are one credit away from the soft cap it does not matter whether you add two credits or 4.294 billion credits, in either case you will exceed the cap but be unable to add any more credits. That overflow likely exists as a fail safe for the very example that you show. Both are derived from an unsigned 32-bit integer, which is 2^32-1 or 4,294,967,295. The guild bank uses the full 32-bits whilst the character limit is 150,000 lower. Not certain why the character limit is lower. Perhaps they reduced it as a fail safe to prevent memory errors if the value should ever exceed the character limit for some reason.
  6. The per character limit is 4,294,817,295. The guild bank limit is 4,294,967,295. Legacy storage limit is 100,000,000,000. The change to mail means that when your character is at or near the per character limit instead of those credits that exceed the limit disappearing they instead remain in your mail so that you can claim them later.
  7. Except they borked PVE, as well, so it was incompetence across the board. Seeing the things they are doing, keep doing, over and over, it is getting really hard to apply Hanlon's razor.
  8. A forum favourite would say that! /jk Seriously though, this studio has some of the worst communication and community management / engagement in the industry. It is also quite funny that when Jackie does actually respond to a question about the role of a community manager the thread gets moved to Off-Topic so that it does not appear in the dev tracker.
  9. Did you subscribe through Steam? There is an ongoing issue with Steam payments and subscriptions. If you did purchase your subscription through Steam know that it can take a day or two for Steam and BW to communicate, but you can also see this post for how to resolve a Steam sub issue. https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion-Technical/INFO-Steam-Purchase-Not-Working/td-p/9356718 You can also post to the EA Answers HQ forums, which are the official support forums. Anyone, regardless of subscription, can post to those forums and there is a way to submit bug reports there, as well. https://answers.ea.com/t5/STAR-WARS-The-Old-Republic/ct-p/star-wars-the-old-republic-en
  10. A shame, because the cosmetics are on the vendor. As stated in the announcement article here: https://www.swtor.com/info/news/article/20230328 Notice the bold parts. I am also certain you will notice that is says, "These are available for Free-to-Play and Preferred players immediately," so here is a screenshot of Ki'at's inventory with my season window open to show that I am on a subscribed account. The Moontear and Darkside customizations are not available for purchase because I have already claimed them, as can be seen in the screenshot. https://i.imgur.com/152rJ4B.png The mounts are likewise not available for me because I have already claimed them from the reward track or purchased them from Ki'at.
  11. Did you check Ki’at Thavo, the Galactic Season non-rotating vendor on the fleet?
  12. When talking about the class, yes, mando has been used as short form commando. It would make no sense in the context of a discussion about classes for one to confuse mando to mean Mandalorian when there is no Mandalorian class. Here is a thread from 2015, the first that came up in a quick google, where mando is being used as short form commando and there is no confusion. https://forums.swtor.com/topic/751990-mercmando-on-low-levels/ The above usage of "mando/commando" makes little sense because there is no "mando" style that is the mirror of commando. That would be merc or mercenary.
  13. Well, save for the part where their official information said one thing but their lead dev-in-chief was telling us a different thing in Discord and all attempts to get clarification on these forums went completely ignored for months until they finally clarified the thing, but only after they announced that the expansion would be delayed. But that is another thing entirely, completely unrelated to the thing being whi...er, I mean, discussed about here that they never, ever said would be a thing.
  14. LOL, this thread. Prior to 7.0 whilst doing CZ dailies, and this is just one example amongst many, everyone, regardless of faction, would help to kill the heroic droid. Why? Because the faster it died to faster it would respawn. But you would still end up with a line of people waiting (or sometimes not) their turn to get their kill. Now, no more line. It is glorious. It is fabulous. It is, from what I hear, stupendous, splendiferous, even supercalifragilistic expialidocious. Now, if only BW would do something about Face Merchants.
  15. The rules employed for the 2013 name renewal. This is, to date, the only time that they have done a name renewal / release, what-ever-you-want-to-call-it, etc. They did not do a name release (whatever) in 2017 with the United Forces server merges. That was a name collision approach with various rules for which character took priority. I do think it is time for another name renewal.
  16. I just created a character named Fagen. It is Gaelic for little fire. I gave them the surname Daerg. Also Gaelic. It means red. The character has fire red hair. And freckles. I tried to make a character with the name Scrap Yard, a Cyborg of course, and also received an invalid name error. So the naming system will not allow Scrap because it can not tell scrap from crap, but it will allowed Fagen... ... ... Right.
  17. The Galactic Season objective Legacies of the Ambitious and Deceitful states "Earn additional bonus progress for defeating their Bonus Bosses or completing all challenges (3 points)." Ran Blood Hunt solo this morning, completed all challenges, but only received 5 points (1 for completing a flashpoint and 4 for it being on the list for bonus progress). Any other week we can complete the objective by completing a flashpoint solo and killing the bonus boss, which will grant the 8 points necessary.
  18. Unfortunately no. Quick Vrik is not in Collections so only that character that unlocks Vrik will have access.
  19. It is kind of mental that the known issues list has to be manually updated rather than having a system that auto-generates based upon issues that are in their bug tracker.
  20. @DWho, you have found yourself on a pitch with a goal post that is never where it seems. That is a game for fools and pigeons. Do your mental health a favour and ignore the bleatings from the sheep.
  21. PTS is a separate download on Steam. https://help.ea.com/en/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-pts-faqs/
  22. AWS -- Amazon Web Services, a cloud service. Would move the game from EA's servers to Amazons. APAC -- Asia-Pacific, generally meaning eastern and south-eastern Asia and Oceania.
  23. Funny thing is a few'ish years ago, I want to say around 2017, -18, -19, Eric (IIRC) made a post about about how they would be more communicative with regard to sales, etc. And for a time they were. And then they went back to no advance notification, announcing sales the day before, or the day of, or a few times official announcements have not even come until after the sale started.
  24. They can. I have two F2P accounts, one that is pure F2P and one that is preferred via a CC purchase. Both are capped at level 60 with no access to expansions beyond SoR. I am able to travel to Odessen and Ruhnuk on both of them. Obviously, can not enter any of the phased areas, but the companions could certainly be placed in the cantina or one of the other public areas. When it comes to level, Quesh is the only planet that has a hard level limit since you have to be 30 something (34'ish, IIRC) in order to accept the mission to receive the inoculation. Zakuul, Iokath, and Darvanis are the only planets that require story progress. Until you have progressed the story to that point they do not appear on the galaxy map. And Section X on Belsavis is the only planetary area that requires a current subscription or an unlock in order to access. Trying to travel there as a F2P or preferred without access authorization generates a pop-up that says: Requires Access Authorization: Section X.
