  1. The most recent, definitive timeline information comes from two posts by Charles Boyd, 15 June 2020 and 27 April 2021, wherein Charles confirms that the events of Echoes of Oblivion, Spirit of Vengeance, and Secrets of the Enclave all occur in early 3626 BBY || 27 ATC. That would place Legacy of the Sith and Showdown on Ruhnuk either sometime in middle to late 3626 BBY || 27 ATC, or latest into early 3625 BBY || 28 ATC. Based upon that your character would have been born in either 3662 BBY || 9 BTC or 3661 BBY || 8 BTC. The game starts in 3643 BBY || 10 ATC, making your character 18~19 years old at the start of the game.
  2. Character copy to SV has been temporarily disabled. https://forums.swtor.com/topic/928641-shae-vizla-server-updates-thread/#comment-9750817
  3. Do you mean the quickbars where you put your abilities? I am talking about the utility bars. There are two. When you go into the interface editor and click on one of the utility bars you can select different icons to put into the slots. Here is a screen shot from my own interface where I have the ping and clock in slots one and two. How the utility bar looks in game - https://i.imgur.com/eWsboHV.png How it looks in the interface editor - https://i.imgur.com/joRHlJk.png
  4. In the interface editor. You can customize the icons that appear on utility bars 1 and 2. In a default layout, utility bar 1 is the bar in the upper left corner and is the one that the abominable waste of space that is the social window is attached to. Utility bar 2 is in the lower right corner. Both can be customized with up to 16 icons.
  5. I asked Jackie that and here was her response.
  6. No, because this is not intended as a fix for inflation. But I do agree that they went about perhaps the worst way of implementing this system. By having the cost to quick travel be so much more, even when travelling the same distance, than it is to take a taxi they have created a tax on convenience rather than implementing a travel tax.
  7. It has been ~3.5 years since Onslaught and the stronghold decorations for Kira, Scourge, and Jakarro are still broken. Knights get naked holo Kira and Scourge it they place them, no one else receives them, and Jakarro does not even have a stronghold decoration. Contrary to the patch notes, Khem's stronghold decoration is not fixed. Khem now has a listing in the decorations, which was missing before, but now Ak'ghal does not have a decoration. When you place Khem's decoration it still places Ak'ghal (name and look). If you summon Ak'ghal the decoration becomes a holo and says Khem. Summon Khem and it turns back into a solid Ak'ghal.
  8. They are, but the cost is significant enough that it is garnering attention. If BW had instead made the costs lower, so that it was a trifling insignificance, then people would be more apt to ignore it (to click off the pop-up), they would more apt to just quick travel without regard to the cost, and more credits would end up coming out of the game. As it is, because there is so much focus on the cost, and how disproportionate it is to taking a taxi, the tax is not going to be as effective as it could be. And just as I predicted in February, people on Reddit (where F2P and preferred can voice their opinion since BW is so snobbish with their forums) are stating that they will just take a taxi rather then pay the far higher QT costs. The smarter option would have been to cut credit awards across all missions. Smaller reductions at low level, up to 10% at high level. That would have made a significant impact on the amount of credits entering the game and likely would have hardly even been noticed.
  9. That is what I am doing. Did Taris to get level one, claimed Amity and did the intro mission. Then picked up Coruscant heroics weekly. Went first to the shrine, then did two heroics, cooldown done, back to the shrine, completed heroics, back to the shrine. Got it done three times without having to stand around.
  10. There should be a warning on that dialogue option, like there are with other companions. Not having one there is quite the oversight. I understand your point about companions retrieved via the terminal and future content. If it is any consolation to you, Ashara has had no part, and has not made a single appearance, since returning. Unfortunately, save for a few companions, non-companion NPC's have been the focus since the end of the Fractured Alliances arc.
  11. Yes. Yes it is. When I tested this on the PTS the only planet, on which I tested, that the cost to quick travel was less than the cost to take the taxi (I was testing from one taxi point to another) was on Onderon. On every other planet I tested the cost to quick travel was more, quite often much, much more, than the cost to travel by taxi. The is absolutely a tax on convenience.

    Exit button

Thank you both for the replies. I just found it. It was hidden under a utility bar. Would have been nice to have a heads up about that change in the patch notes. Edit -- want to add. I do like this change as before, when the exit button was attached to utility bar 2, it would block access to cells on quickbars if they were too close to the utility bar. So having this as a separate element is a good thing.

    Exit button

Okay BW, what did you do with the exit button because it is no longer on utility bar 2? Tried resetting my UI (Cltr+U x2), tried going into the interface editor. I am in my stronghold and would like to go back to the planet I was at. Can not travel there from the galaxy map, so how do we exit now?
  14. I would say their implementation is too convoluted. If they had just used the Legacy achievements to unlock the ability to create new characters with any combat style and allowed every Force user the option to swap based upon alignment it would be far more simple. But why be simple and player friendly? Completely agree.
  15. Nitpicky, but both are incorrect. The Light V and Dark V Legacy achievements @SteveTheCynic mentioned are required in order to create a new Force user character with an opposite faction combat style (a Jedi Assassin or Sith Guardian, for example). They are not required to be able to swap one's primary combat style to the mirror. For that you need to have not unlocked those Legacy achievement and your character must be of the opposite alignment for the faction (i.e. a dark Jedi or a light Sith). You much meet both criteria to be able to swap your primary combat style to the mirror. If you have the relevant Legacy achievement unlocked then you will not be able to swap to the mirror because you can create new characters with those combat styles. The only exception is for Force user characters created prior to 7.0, who will receive the option to swap their primary style to the mirror regardless of the Legacy achievements so long as they meet the alignment requirement. @Enskojare, the reason you likely were not able to swap your Assassin's primary style to the mirror is because you already have the Light V Legacy achievement, meaning that you can create Sith with a Jedi combat style. Having that achievement removes the option to swap the primary. And yes, I disagree with BW's reasoning and think they should have allowed a one-time swap for ever Force user character. It would have been perfect for role-play, which is a large part of playing an RPG.
  16. Ahh, yes. Those would go puff. Or was it poof? What ever the magic dragon did.
  17. What are you on about? PVP objectives have been on Galactic Seasons since Season 1. In week two of GS3 there was the Decorated Combatant objective: Earn Warzone Medals (1 point per medal). Earn an additional progress point for becoming 'Highly Decorated' by earning 8 Medals in a single match. And week three had the Heading the Frontline objective: Complete Unranked Warzone matches. Earn double progress for wins. Almost every week during Season 3 had a PVP or GSF objective. If you do not like PVP then ignore those objectives.
  18. Previously credits would go into escrow, which would be held until they either subscribed or purchased an escrow transfer. I have F2P and preferred accounts from which I sometimes sell things. Keep watch on Reddit as when I can I will test this to see how it works and will post the results. If it works as you surmise it will make quite the difference for how I sell things.
  19. After reading the article I have a few questions. What is the actual cost for the Mek-Sha stronghold? In one place you say 8 tokens and in another you say 14. During Season 3, the Season 1 weapons were sold by Ki'at Thavo. Will the Season 2 weapons be available this Season? Are the Collections unlock prices going to remain as they were for Season 3? Also, I think the dyes are misidentified. The image appears to show grey / brown, brown / grey, and orange / orange, but the cutline identifies them as "(From left to right: Pale and Dark Brown, Pale Orange and Dark Orange, and Pale Brown and Dark Gray Dyes.)."
  20. Try pressing X, which does the /sit animation. Sometimes that will allow you to use quick travel or travel to a stronghold when you are stuck and the game thinks you are moving. The /stuck command is often not reliable and will just place your character right back into the stuck spot, so quick travel or going to a stronghold is often the better option. If you do travel to a stronghold do not exit back to where you were as that will just put you back in the stuck spot. You will need to exit somewhere else and then travel back to the planet.
  21. Assuming you mean Galactic Season 4, it starts tomorrow. Galactic Season 4 - The new Galactic Season 4: “A Passage of Peace” begins with Game Update 7.2.1. In this new season, players are joined by Amity, a Force user on a pilgrimage, to progress through the Messengers of the Cold Moon reputation track and earn new rewards such as the brand new Mek-Sha Hideout Stronghold! https://www.swtor.com/patchnotes
  22. For this specific instance, quite likely. But knowing where those files are, so they can be backed up, will save you the hassle of having to recreate your UI layout and keybinds if there is a need to reinstall. I was responding to what you said: Which is incorrect because those settings can be backed up and restored.
  23. Your GUI profiles and keybind settings are XML files that can be backed up and restored after a reinstall. They can be found in two folders located in [user name]\AppData\Local\SWTOR\swtor\settings. Backup those two folders and then restore then after a reinstall / fresh install.
  24. Once you purchase the Legacy unlock it appears on your ship for all characters on that Legacy. Legacy storage is generally in the same area as your personal cargo hold on your ship.
  25. The only thing we have to compare against is Season 1, which ran for 12-weeks. Some objectives are being made easier, so it is possible they could shorten it, but I would expect about 12 weeks again. Unless they intend for it to align with Galactic Seasons, which ran for 22-weeks (S1) and 20-weeks (S2 & S3).
