  1. I won't mind another companion (+one to craft things and not being story companion), just not on the ship. If each season adds a new companion in Season 20 there won't be any place on the player ships to put them.... And they aren't exactly talkative (Basic isn't their strength).
  2. There won't be a new companion and the droid will beep (like T-7 probably). The objectives are tweaked a bit but it will be easy to do these seasons. Be ready to have your inventory filled with bronze cartel weapons you probably have.... You can go to the starter or capital worlds and kill the mobs even without a companion (or a healer companion), armor and as a healer character... If you want power you won't blast the droid to pieces... will lose a valuable information source. After you are done with all of this you can fry it's circuits. A nice way to get some free CC and some tokens (and for me the Loth cat is a nice reward). Galactic Seasons don't add to the story, just objectives and rewards.
  3. Because enough is enough. There are sooo many companions and the player ships aren't exactly large.... Personally I won't mind another crafter who can be maxed (level 50) for some 6 million credits and two minutes time... but I have enough companions to craft and I'm not into crafting myself... And there will be many more galactic seasons.
  4. Me personaly... I don't care... Even switched off the message asking me if I really want to travel and pay the price... 5k credits... even a thousand QT travels won't cost much (5 million). Last week paid 80 million GTN tax for selling an item... Now that's somethink which I personaly didn't like... But for a few days (I think it was 2 days waiting) the GTN tax removed 80 million from me... And it may have removed like 500 000... If I QTed 100times and if the cost was the max (5000)... Math speaks for itself... GTN Tax is efective anti-iflation tool if this tax cannot be avoided (perks or player-to-player and mail trades). The QT tax doesn't mean any think for lv80 players...
  5. Or just don't raise the costs of playing the game at all, after all this inlation problem only exists if you open the GTN or use player-to-player trade. Only player-to-player economy is inflated, basic items and services are no. Speeder costs are not (and they should stay that way) affected. Basic armours are not becoming more expensive (and they should stay that way). They should have NOT touched repair costs too! This way thy will make inflation creep outside the GTN kiosks! Instead these new measures: Taxing player-to-player trades, mail trades and raising them GTN taxes is the right way to go. Another measure is to reduce rewards from missions and from selling junk (or even better, remove the junk drops from the game) and reduce income from selling each item to vendor (heroic armour drops from crates, green drops, medpack, etc). Quicktravel, ship fuel costs, repair, basic items should not be changed. Reduce income. This is what makes them credits appear ingame. The CM market is mostly affected by free CC flowing in the game (which should make CM items cheeper (credits wise) by the way. Galactic seasons should make CC items cheaper (or not more expensive). Real life money isn't inflating (costs in life are raising too, so it's not easier to get more cc and if it was then there should've been more competition between Cartel Market items sellers on the GTN). This QT tax intruduction and repair costs raising is just punishing all players because items sold on the GTN became more expensive... Just tax these trades and reduce credits inflow. Over time this should reduce prices on the GTN. And by the way on the EU server (Darth Malgus) credit sellers like to promote their offers frommidnight (EU time) until in the early morning... if they (the game developers/maintainers logg in during theese times (or log the chat) they will see this. And if they ban Credit sellers and exploters (if they really exist), please, ban them for good!
  6. And you can open a trading menu with someone under level 10. Learned this when tried to request a trade with this level 2 player who got stuck to give them some traveling money.
  7. If they ask how to unstuck and say the command doesn't work after they try it people can halp in chat and recommend using (and how to find it in the menus) the quick travel.
  8. Because of this smartly implemented Quick Travel Credit Cost (which is supposed to battle inflation) a new player got stuck and couldn't use quick travel. Just minutes ago on server "Star Forge" a brand new player Level 2 did get stuck inside one of the Holoprojectors on their first class mission (Consular)... Told them using the "/stuck" command, it didn't help (the reason writing this as a Bug Report). They said quicktravel cost more than they can afford, tried trade window-ing to give them some credits for travel... an error message (red letters) says they needed to be at least level 10, (I was 18 due to the 2x XP event going on). The situation was resolved by inviting the player to duel and using a push skill... Quick travel isn't only "a convinience", "a luxury". It can be an emergency Unstuck when the /stuck command doesn't help. I have used it this way more than once...
  9. I wasn't maxed out on the currencies, was able to loot the bodies and nobody helped me killing the mobs (othewise would've need to wait for the other players to loot them too and after that salvage/gather the resources). Clean kills, fully looted them, no network delays, wasn't able to click and bioanalyse/scavange them. I have switched the setting to be able to gather them myself only (no companion needed and used for this). If there are no gearing currencies as loot I can salvage them. This happens after these currencies were introduced as loot.
  10. When killing and looting a monster whose body can be bioanalised or scavenged (if droid) and when the loot includes one of these gear currencies (FP-1 Stabilizer, Tech Fragments, etc) after looting the body can not be gathered for materials (even with the skill learned and the body being "Silver" or "Gold" star difficulty). Looting and fighting was done alone (no other people helped so I didn't have to wait for them too loot the body to gather materials). If the drops aren't these currencies I can gather the materials.
  11. Totally agree it hurts the brand new players most. A new player who gets a few hundret credits as a reward when completing a mission and saving this precious money to unlock an inventory (I think first level was 5000 credits) got stuck... They don't know an unstuck command exists and they are free-to-play (maybe) so can't chat often. Decides to unstuck themselves by using "Quick travel" skill. For brand new players it has a cooldown too. And "bam" all of their hard earned money for the inventory unlock must be spent on quick travel just to untuck themselves or even avoid a band of dangerous mobs (I have used it that way when I was new). Not a fun-to-play game... And the rich players won't care one bit they will have to pay 5000 credits when quick travelling on Coruscant... Not to mention a basic speeder (mount) costs 8000 credits (10k for f2p) which is a lot when rewards are ~450 per mission... Repair credits sinks are fine. Higher gear rating pays more and gets higher rewards, this way it's a nice change to siphon some credits away from the iconomy...
  12. This! This post explains it well in simple terms. If someone wants cool cosmetics with Cartel Coins symbol on it's icon they should obtain Cartel Coins (GS or pay real $). Everything in the game is (was because of travel taxes now) stable. The prices are stable, haven't changed even a little bit over those years! I have tried to explain this as a reply to different posts about "inflation" before 7.2.1... There is no inflation in SWTOR shops. Only when using the GTN kiosks and trying to buy cosmetics and dyes. apart from Augments and Adrenals/Stims (gameplay items) every other item is just cosmetic one. Not needed to play the game. Even new players will be on the same level when using basic services (speeder travel/ship fuel/basic stims/meds/). Now these quick travel taxes are punishing brand new players. The richer ones don't care, there's even an option to turn off the warning/question if we are sure to quick travel (I turned it off, 5000 creds aren't something to be bothered about and I'm not one of the the "ultra rich" 100billionaires). After these taxes were introduced the inflation creeped in the base game...
  13. They count but players aren't incentivised to finish GS sooner (by completing 12-points objectives and the daily login/25k conquest objectives). To get the achievement we need to do 100 objectives even if we finished the season long time ago (weeks or even months if these 12-points objectives were completed). This is just a cheap way to encourage grind and staying in the GS game even after total of 800 points are acquired...
  14. Yes, it's 100 objective no matter how many points each one of them grants. So you need to do 100 objectives. If you rushed and did harder (and group) objectives which reward you 12 points and finished Galactic season much sooner you will obtain the 800 points total needed to complete the season but not 100 objectives to get the achievement. This achievement discourages you to try harder objectives (and makes the daily 25k conquest objective and login reward pointless, they don't count too). If someone tries hard or plays in a group (or PvP) and gets the 12-points objectives (to finish GS sooner) they will still be required to do more weekly objectives just to get the achevements. Similar to not so useful reputation: incentive to grind...
  15. WHY are login rewards/daily 25k Conquest points objective and High points (12points) Weekly Objecitves aren't accounted for and the achievement requires 100 weekly missions completion?!?!? We did provide feedback about Galactic Seasons and this issue was mentioned like 100 times in the posts! Why not just require 800 points (this way login/daily/high points reward objectives will matter)???
