  1. I'd expect Ilum to return revamped late 2012 early 2013.
  2. I want HoG to head to The Fatman, nuff said. Both PvP servers are now full in prime time which is great, hopefullly they haven't added the increase in server population caps yet. All I know is, a lot will be disappointed if they get put to a new destination server that can reach full.
  3. Viewing the current servers and seeing more then 2 servers heavy now with standard makes me happy and hopeful. Yes the game has definitely lost a lot of people (good and bad), but the main issue of the game was the population (end game content aside). Now here's hoping Helm of Graush and the remaining east coast PvP servers will be able to join the rest on The Fatman. Same goes for the other light servers and their respected server types. My faith in this game is looking better, let's hope this puts this game back on track. 1.3 is good even if it's content light, and 1.4 hopefully will add in all the new stuff from E3. Please open the rest of us by the weekend please PS: Don't say ***** in general chat, you'll get banned.
  4. I have a gut feeling we'll be put on The Fatman if they indeed create Mega Server population caps. You also notice ppl can transfer off The Fatman, probably in anticipation for queue times maybe?
  5. Unless they plan to clear the database of unsubscribed names, I doubt it'll happen.
  6. I'd gladly be face rolled into the ground repeatedly for a few weeks to get the WZ comms to buy my pvp gear instead of being stuck on a server that can't even get a PvP queue pop in a timely manner.
  7. Graphics are low poly because Blizzard likes to maximize their system specs range to get the most profit possible. The animations are always good, even though your characters look like a hybrid type of Lego people. However, environments were excellent.
  8. Ya pretty much a lot of my guild members who took a hiatus from SWTOR to play D3 are currently ************ and screaming about Inferno Act 1 and 2. Basically their stuck grinding gold to buy the items necessary to progress and they are finding it really stupid and repetitive. All I have to say is that's Diablo. Anyways welcome back, and I hope Guild Wars 2 is way better then that first weekend beta crap. Never thought I would feel like I was fighting on the moon , but that's how combat felt to me at least.
  9. Ok thanks a bunch, we'll just have to wait another patch or two then for em.
  10. I heard 1.3 was supposed to have 2-4 man speeders implemented. Does anyone have information concerning this?
  11. I thought I read somewhere that the lore states purple crystals are indeed rare. Mace Windu worked his *** off to get one.
  12. Honestly the more people able to check out this game that are too worried to buy it or just try it a few days is a good thing. This game has gotten so much bad press lately that this can only be a good thing.
  13. Bioware well done, it's taken you an extra 2 months to hopefully get rated WZs in with 1.3. Problem is, they are just going to be same server only now? I thought you were saying cross server was the way to go in order to pull from the largest pools of players. Now we have to hope that the magical server transfers are going to fix the population enough in order to play WZs against enough players that it isn't the same face roll team match after match. You make me laugh, first you take it away and say the solo queues aren't good for rated. I can understand that, but another reason was you were going to make it cross server for pre season. Another great move by Bioware to further push more of your PvP population out the window. So we're back to the 3000 or so players instead of 200 000 to pull from, that makes total sense and rating is going to work out perfectly (not). I wouldn't doubt that you'll just yank them again from us shortly before 1.3 comes out. Thanks a lot, I know 100% for sure now I won't be coming back at the end of the month. I couldn't thank you guys enough for letting me have a very enjoyable summer outdoors and away from this mess of an MMO.
  14. Do you honestly think Bioware is going to give you game time lost on a PUBLIC TEST SERVER? Don't hold your breath buddy...

  16. Ok so if they release it at 84 days, then ya I guess in a way you are right. I don't know I would have expected a shorter development time to be 2 months and not 3 months. Btw , in the bigger picture of things you're still wrong.
  17. Sorry you're wrong, Bioware has indeed said 1.3 is content light because they want to get it out to us faster. Another thiing, they said it was going to have a shorter development cycle then 1.2. I really doubt that now. They can make sure that 1.3 launches at the end of July with no bugs in it, then deal with the fallout of having 500k or less subs. Ultimately these layouts that cost 150 or so jobs is probably why 1.3 isn't on PTS yet. when you lose 1/3 of your team stuff like that does and will happen. This trend is going to continue unless they can stabilize it. If not, look for a skeleton crew barely able to push out 3 content patches a year.
  18. Not it's not / wasn't. Pre CU SWG had 300kl subs, after CU that dropped by 100k, then NGE another 150k. So unless this game loses 700k more subs (which it might), it's nowhere near as bad as what had happened with SWG. Stop bending the truth to make your points valid.
  19. I do blame the players for QQing so much at pre launch about queue times that the devs cracked and added way too many. I also blame these players for then QQing about their now dead servers and unsubbing anyway. I will say though it's Bioware's fault they didn't research the past with all MMOs and realize that opening up these servers would be a bad move in the long run. Furthermore, they should have worked on the tech for character transfers, group finder and rated WZs before launch and have those out by patch 1.1, 1.2 by the latest. So in the end both parties are at fault. The player base expecting this game to have 7 years worth of content in it at launch, and the developers too naive to realize their mistakes and fix them ASAP.
  20. You should call it Game Update 1.3: Joke, not Allies.
  21. I really hope that the rise of the sandbox MMO will come out of the ashes of all these garbage theme park games. Unfortunately, the mainstream are too stupid for this.
  22. I personally think at this point that Bioware can do nothing to stop the decline because they choose to be ignorant. They talk about how 4x the amount of ppl did War Zones vs Ilum PvP. They never want to realize that hey maybe because the WZs were easier to get into (right click and queue up), balanced numbers (class imbalances still exist though) and a lot better performance wise, that's probably why more did them. I liked Ilum, the concept was cool, but they sucked at implementing it. Also the lag was real bad, but as an old SWG player I was used to slide show large scale pvp battles. However, that was 2003, this is 2012. When I bought Tera (not that great), the one thing I enjoyed the most was open world pvp from level 11 onward. I got into more OPvP battles in Tera the first week vs 5 months of SWTOR. It's also a Korean MMO, seriously Bioware?
  23. Granted the instanced planets things wouldn't have been avoided unless you had some sort of seemless ship take off and onto the planet (which Hero Engine probably would catch on fire if implemented), I agree with everything you say. Let's not forget the lead designer lied about 400k subs cancelling, I'm going to say no, I don't trust Bioware at all anymore. That's what happens when you get into bed with Electronic Arts. Look at Westwood Studios for proof.
