  1. Please Bioware implement something similar to this. Season 1 was great when we had the population to back our solo ranked pops. Now that Pub side is dwindling solo ranked is a joke for pub players. We get more 2v4s and 3v4s than imp side ever gets at all hours of the day.
  2. Please make matches not start until all 4 player slots are filled on both teams. Or make it so you can team up with Imps to fill the remaining slots. I'm getting tired of attributing half my losses from incomplete teams. If I'm gonna lose I'd rather it be 4v4 not 4v2 for over half my matches. (I'm on pub side Bastion) Please do something about Ranked matchmaking. Anyone else sick of seeing these matches start with half the team on either side just not even filled or afk queuers bringing other people's ranks down?
  3. ESO beta had the worst control scheme of any MMO to date. The combat was poorly designed and feels at best clunky and at worst just feels like you're spamming whatever is available. The sound effects sounded like a 5 year old made them with his mouth. The voice overs are poor and the graphics don't help. The storyline is subpar even for an Elder scrolls game. Overall ESO is going to crash hard. Its going to crash harder than any AAA mmo in history.
  4. ESO beta was terribad compared to Wildstar beta it's not even worth talking about anymore.
  5. Yes we are being taken for fools. 4 PvE centric updates, 5 GSF updates, 1 huttball map, no talk about what's going to be done for PvP, no talk of Rated rewards. I've put over $3000 into this game and feel like they are just going to keep ignoring the niche I play in (PVP). I am gone when a better alternative comes out like Wildstar or something else PVP focused or at least somewhere where PVP isn't an afterthought. I've been a fanboy of this game since closed beta but things just don't seem to be getting better and I don't see them changing the PVE centric mindset.
  6. Dear Bioware, When will we see some changes to open world pvp in regards to preventing low level ganking? I'm not complaining about getting ganked but I think a good change would be to implement a bolstering system that is only active via player vs player actions. So let's say I am level 50 and I'm in an open world pvp mood, I decide I wanna fight jedi in the desert so I head to Tatooine. When I get there I realize that there aren't too many other 50 enemies to fight so I figure I'll bring some here by ganking lowbies and hoping they call for help. Otherwise I just sit here and kill the same 8 level 24-28s who keep fighting back. I just figured why doesn't BW just make it so when I come at these level 24s with my level 50 attacks and expertise added on, that my attacks would get scaled to their level of damage so that I don't just one shot them or that I have a chance to miss just like anyone else I'd be fighting my level. Something similar to this scaled bolstering system could make it so I can enjoy open world pvp in a fair environment whilst still allowing me to have an edge on the lower level toons on any planet with cross faction action. If you guys already have this planned then good on you for being so awesome! Your most faithful fanboy, Zeke
  7. Grouping with the worst players on the server doesn't exactly mean the warzones suck. It means you pick a bad time to log in and play. Whenever I log in (late at night) the players "tend" to be more mature and actually know that the matches are objective based and know what to do in general. I'm sorry that you've run into some bad players we all have...
  8. After playing the GW2 Beta and being thoroughly disappointed I definitely am thankful at how good Swtor does it's leveling system/story, as the GW2 storyline is the most mediocre questing system I've ever encountered. I think Swtor ruined story driven mmos for me.
  9. 1. How do you think your Assassin spec is perceived by other classes? DPS Deception assassin PVE: Is Seen as a "You are really still using that spec?" skill tree. 2. How do you perceive your own spec? I can deal a decent amount of dps during raids but I hit nowhere near as hard as mauraders and often find it boring that I'm a melee class that relies completely on procing spells. Where are my flashy double-bladed combat moves? I don't feel that I can go toe to toe with anyone during pvp unless I get the jump on them and they have no idea how to pvp against one person. During Lost Island I can't get a group who can complete HM on the Robot boss so I'm unable to get more gear through that Flashpoint because no one wants a melee dps for that Flashpoint.
  10. I definitely am suggesting they do a reverse NGE with Swtor to make it more closely like Pre-CU SWG
  11. Do you think with games like Firefall and Planetside 2 coming out that these features may blur together in games that come out after? I.E. MMOFPS
  12. My question for the community is "Are gear based MMOs losing their popularity or are they still the carrot on the stick that most players want?" I for one would absolutely love it if more MMOs would base their game's combat mechanics off of player skill instead of having your stats determine your success. What are your opinions on this? Would this be doable in Swtor with a CU (combat upgrade) patch? Would you want Swtor to become skill based? Would you hate it if your gear was nothing more than appearance? As for my opinion I would love to play a skill based Star Wars MMO. Do I see Swtor actually implementing it? No I do not have Faith that Bioware/EA would ever do something so risky. I'd like to see the public opinion on this however.
  13. There's always the option to go back to pen and paper rpgs i guess those can be really fun.
  14. Bioware is in my opinion far too concrete about their stance on alien races "ruining" the cinematics. I don't give a flying kowakian monkey lizard about not being able to romance people as a Trandoshan because my face will clip into their during the cutscenes. I don't play star wars to play as a human and have human experiences I can do that in real life or in any other fantasy game. Give us our Non-humans or I'll pretty much have lost all respect I had for Bioware. I believe that just being able to select your favorite species would bring people in or back all on its own. All they have to do is make multiple facial features and colors for 2-4 non human species and people would play again just to level and play as their favorite species. I.E. Trandoshan Bounty hunter, Nautolan Jedi, Mon calamari Smuggler, etc... The models are even already in the game they just need to add some extra customization options and they could easily put those species in the character creator. My 15$ a month would like to be used to pay the Character creation team to make more playable species and I'm sure others would agree that more species would increase subs.
