  1. You think adding items the players have asked for since launch (Pod Racer) at insane ($18) prices is going to save this game? Think again. It seems Bioware is focused more on the Cartel Market then anything else. All the content that has come since F2P was pretty much going to be 1.4 before the transition. Open world PvP? Not this year, 3d Space? Late 2013 by the earliest probably. Pazzak, Sabaac, Pod Racing? Probably NEVER. Oh but I'm sure they're almost done putting the finishing touches on the Kashyyyk Wookiee Fur Rug, it'll only cost you 20 bucks though.
  2. You know how pathetic it sounds that their heavily modified frankenstein of a Hero's Engine can't even handle chat bubbles that were done flawlessly in SWG 10 years ago. Seriously 10 years ago!! and they can't even handle that today? Bunch of losers.
  3. Game sucks, they're just going to give us more of the same with very little new features. If you want to call that Rep Grind system a feature, you're out of your mind.
  4. I wonder how messed up Ilum is going to be in this patch. I resubbed cause I heard Ilum 2.0 was coming back, this isn't exactly what you guys were leading the PvP on about. Whatever I'll check it out and unsub cause this game sucks.
  5. LOL that armor is the same old garbage reskinned. PATHETIC
  6. I`m playing the only Star Wars online game I can. I played SWG for years, stopped after the big wigs screwed up royally with the NGE or ``new game enhancements`` which essentially butchered the game. I don`t have my old SWG cd`s and to be honest, the SWG Emu is pointless, it`ll be ready by 2020 at the rate they go. SWG I could have possibly given another shot but LA decided to kill it for SWTOR. I`ve accepted that the MMO genre is stale and garbage. Only reason I subbed is I love to PvP, I like Star Wars and 5 WZ a week doesn`t cut it. Futhermore, I`m not about to get ripped off by their weekly passes nonsense. It`s obvious the goals of Bioware are to milk this IP into the ground with 18 dollar Pod Racing speeders instead of an actual Pod Racer feature. It`s these reasons why they fail, and will continue to do so. Once I get a few more pieces of my WH gear I`ll unsub since I will have won the internets.
  7. Why are you bothering to ask for player feedback 13 months after you launch when you guys couldn`t be bothered to listen to us before... As a former beta tester of this game you guys couldn`t even listen to us then. All you would say is we`ll fix this or implement this post launch. Has any of that happened.....nope. So here is my feedback: you guys didn`t listen to the concerns of us back then, you guys **** the bed, and now all I can say is ``Serves you right``
  8. Thiing is all these things above are more of the same. Players get bored of the same old stuff, they crave new features. How hard would it really be to add Pazaak or Sabaac in the casinos on Nar Shadda, or to play Dejarik on your ship. It`s features like this that would add a lot more depth to the game then Flash Point X, War Zone Y and Operation Z.
  9. Well the new car smell left a long time ago. The game definitely is better then at launch with quality of life improvements like Group Finder, Adaptive Gear etc. Game still lags behind in areas such as new features, bigger war zones (c`mon 8v8 in Star Wars, really!), true open world pvp (won`t happen), 3d space flight. Biggest issue with the game is once you get to 50, you either reroll a new toon or grind PvE and PvP gear. Now I realize that is what most MMO games do, but those other games also have other activities, combat and non combat that players can do besides just an endless gear treadmill. This is why player retention in this game sucks, and the only reason the game hasn`t flopped completely is because of F2P. The game is still going to end up suffering from the same issues that hurt it post launch. Players will burn through content faster then developers can make it, players get bored, players leave. Bioware`s just lucky that they have their restrictive demo in place to allow fresh new blood to try it out.
  10. Culling is a big issue and one that is seeing improvements next week and in February. The fact remains though that it can support 10x the amount of people onscreen then Bioware`s version of HE.
  11. See this is what happens when the egomaniacs at Bioware Austin purchase an alpha uncomplete Hero's Engine and put their own custom code and renderer into it. No wonder Gordon Walton jumped ship before this game launched. He probably felt really guilty about how he put so much faith into their engineering department, which obviously was one big *** FAIL. That's the real reason we'll never see true open world PvP. This abomination of an engine can't handle it PERIOD. The only good thing that came out of this is Simtronics obviously used the money from Bioware to finish and complete the engine. Now it seems because of SWTOR it gets a bad rep, which is complete horse ****. Bioware Austin sucks.
  12. I don't get how wanting to know what exactly is in this paid DLC is "entitlement" either. The blind faith of these fanboys and girls is absolutely retarded. I once was a sucker like them as well. The whole in Bioware we trust BS and how every dev either said "we're not ready to talk about it yet" or "post launch moving on" is garbage. James Ohlen as well has completely quit the Twitter scene because he looks like an idiot. Asking what species we want, how we want open world pvp and other activites like Pod Racing. What do we get? No open world PvP this year, an 18 dollar Pod Racer and Cathar are still not in yet. The whole dev team are a bunch of liars, and not to be trusted. Even their carrot dangling skills suck, trying to con more people to buy a once free update by offering them 2 vanity pets and a title lol. The funny thing is, for every 1 person who sees through this, there are 5 idiots who don't and think free "obama phone" goodies is good enough.
  13. They need to implement the cross server queue system for PvP. This will broaden the available players and hopefully make their crappy matchmaking work a little better. Unfortunately they've had their priorities rearranged for the 1000th time so who knows when that's going to happen. Ilum 2.0 turned from a PvP objective affair to a PvPvE event zone that's going to empty within a few weeks afterwards.
  14. If you're planning on making a tank just know that they get equally verbally abused by fellow players, mainly just PvE though.
