  1. Please Bioware, consider a Body Type 2.5, 2 is way too small, 3 is too big. It works for certain characters, but others, look a bit silly. I'll be happy to pay in Cartel Coins for the upgrade, I hope you will consider this idea. From the looks of it, some NPC's are scaled smaller than Body Type 3, so I'm sure it's possible.
  2. It's OK, you are only 24, you've got a lot of time to make mistakes!
  3. That wasn't the name, they were the original names I use for livestreaming and my podcast, and other people saw fit to take them on other servers. While it's flattering people did this, looking at the friends list on the destination server and seeing three of them are 'reserved' by level one characters, is a huge pain in the ***.
  4. This is just a huge mess, I'm not resubscribing. Moving to a server where all the names are taken by players who no longer play Telling us that story is the important part of this game Expecting us to have to change our story because we have to reinvent our characters Being directed here so my feedback can get buried If this process was important to Bioware there would have been similar consultation as there was at the guild summit. In the end it turned into a system that someone dreamed up on a Friday afternoon. I really hope this game fails, so it's a learning experience for all concerned and that MMO companies realize that if you treat customers like children, you get that type of feedback.
  5. Equally it could have also been done by a player at release who no longer plays or pays a subscription. Transferring to an empty server would have mitigated this problem.
  6. It's bad enough to have to transfer, but to transfer to a new server and see that your name is taken by a level one character which is doubtlessly abandoned is really annoying. I'm paying for the game, I think names should be freed up to give paying customers a better experience. This would help mitigate the hardship of having to move in the first place. Bioware have made a big deal about story in this game, now my story changes completely, I'm a totally different person. Also I was prompted to move to a server that had LESS of a population than my existing server. You have to ask yourself who made the decisions on what the destinations server were. IMO it would be better to have an empty server to transfer to, that way, at least not all the names are reserved. I wish I could get inside the decision making process here, it seems to be spectacularly fuzzy thinking? What do other players think?
  7. I made a thread and was directed here. I'd just like to add my voice to those dissatisfied with both the current graphical fidelity and the poor explanation given as to why we can't have better graphics. I hope this is bought up during the Guild Summit streaming sessions.
  8. If this is not being taken seriously, is it possible that someone who is attending the guild summit could bring this up as a issue and push for more satisfactory answers during a streamed session. I find this pretty disappointing after doing some further background reading, the response the community received doesn't exactly ring true for some reason.
  9. I saw recently that the new game TERA is offering an update to it's client to allow for high resolution graphix, it's a big 7GB download, but will make the game look fab, even if it isn't the best game in the world. I have been disappointed by SWTOR's smudginess compared to other games, and I was hoping there was an update forthcoming that will make things look better. Both games scale to the same degree, have similar numbers of concurrent players, so I am not sure of the reason why the graphics need to be simplified down in SWTOR to such an extent? I appreciate this is stylized realism, but I don't know why that would mean that fidelity should suffer so much. Also Skyrim has an unofficial update that makes the graphic resolutions look 100X better. Could we the community do something about this? Are we getting some sort of update on this for 1.2 or even at the forthcoming guild summit, any info would be appreciated!
  10. Why is it unrealistic, to add more dramatic cutscenes and use impactful music to make gameplay memorable? You a programmer? Your points on film-making are totally irrelevant, as digital production costs <> live movie production costs, so let's not even argue that point, ridiculous. You've gone to the total extreme of assuming that I wanted a full orchestrated piece through all gameplay the full length of every fight and conversation, didn't mention that bud, doesn't even do that in the movies.... My point is that were were no real 'awesome' points in the whole story, and those that did improve to an 'epic level' were totally let down by lack of production and felt anti-climatic.
  11. So your rebuttal = fact, no..... Why is music not used to such effect in SWTOR?
  12. It really isn't, it lack so much impact, it's all to easy to space bar through. Disagree, well watch Episode 1, Darth Maul fight, blaring music, such bad-assery, nothing even approaching that feeling, and this game was supposed to be huge on story? Just watch this, anyone had this type of moment in SWTOR? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7XwGhrnwHDk Fighting Kira was a great part, but so poorly implemented. I dunno where Bioware are going with this, ME1 had better cutscenes?
  13. That is complexion, however the wrinkle options the NPC's have are not made available.
  14. NPC's have them, and given we are creating a legacy, some members will be older than others. Seems a little bland not to offer these options, to help distinguish generations of your family. Are these forthcoming legacy options?
