  1. Really Bioware? You said when the game released every major game update would contain, new features, war zones, flash points and operations. 1.3 has: Group finder - server only (completely useless for 75% of servers) Character transfer - limited, (you'll have to change your servers to say Dead as well as Light now) Augment tables - Definitely a good thing. Social Gear - 6 months after release you finally have it so anyone that isn't an Inquistor / Consular can actually look the way they want too. Legacy Update - looks great, but how much credits do you think all those perks are going to cost? 500k for 1% xp bonus isn't going to cut it. So that's it then? Rated War Zones weren't even mentioned and frankly this is a slap in the face for those PvPers who are still sticking with this game. What about the flash point junkies or the solo player that could use a few more things to do? I play this game mainly to PvP, however, I do as much of the other content that I can. With 10+ minute queue times, facing the same questionable face rolling groups on both factions and no new content, what's the point for sticking around? There really isn't any, other then the fact I love Star Wars. My guild of 50+ ppl online at prime time has been reduced to basically myself online. Everyone is either playing Diablo 3, quit, or just log in on Operation nights (which we've been cancelling from lack of participation). I'm sure by 1.7 or 1.8 you'll have many more planets, Ilum revamped and a plethora of other new features. Question is, who will be left to play it?
  2. He's really not demanding much, he really just wants the devs to give us some insight into their development plans. A roadmap for 2012/early 2013 would be something that could help. Yes not all the things in their plan might make it in, but give us an idea where this ship is headed, since a lot of us (not a minority anymore) think it's sinking fast.
  3. I was the guild leader for my clan, recently stepped down as I've been busy and personally, my hope for this game is fading fast. I log in today at Helm of Graush, there are 23 Imperials online, 21 on the Fleet (I'm hoping the total online numbers is bugged). I queue up for solo PvP, wait, wait and wait.... (I'm a pvper at heart). I go do Dailies, Corellia first (look for Republics on the other side of the map, none). Finish Ilum Dailies and do some Belsavis. Our weekly raiding recently has been getting cancelled due to lack of players online. Realize no PvP is popping and I'm the only one in my guild online (used to have 50 during prime time and at least 5-10 early hours). My server that had wait times of 45 mins is now officially dead. Most probably are not logging in, started over on Fatman or just quit all together. I can't believe how history tends to repeat itself. Star Wars:Galaxies launched with about 300k subs, and by the time the CU was out they lost a good 1/2 of their population. Luckily this game hasn't suffered it as bad (24% drop), but I fear after June when the 6 month subs run out, the real problems will show. SOE refused to merge servers until years later, either being forced not too by LA or they didn't want to admit they failed. The same thing is happening here, only the players are the ones who suffer in the end. You should never make your customer pay for stupid mistakes of upper management, but that's the way it seems to work in this industry. I can see this game having a solid playerbase of around 500k if they can get most of their systems in place by the end of the year. A far cry from what EA and investors want, but it would still make a profit. They have to get rid of those servers, why pay for so many per month when you only need a 1/4-1/3 of them. Sad day, I've been trying to save up for a Capital Ship in our Guild Bank, with donations and doing dailies. The donations have stopped and I've stopped caring about doing the daily grind in hopes of one day purchasing a guild ship which IMO currently is just vaporware.
  4. This game has huge bad publicity so would it really matter anymore?
  5. OMG a side kick system when once implemented, it should only take you about 6 hours to find someone to be your side kick.
  6. If this game lost that much EA would cut it's resources to this game, and probably half it not more of the developers would be cut, and then run this game on a skeleton crew doing the odd smaller update.
  7. Sorry to say the masses are too stupid enough to stay in a game that doesn't hold their pee pee for them while they urinate in the toilet. It's a sad state in the industry, as it's changed so much over the last 20 years into something akin to Hollywood. That is pumping out worthless, generic garbage with big budgets and cashing in on it from the suckers who support this.
  8. No instance PvP gets dull after a while, and class balance issues especially shows a lot more in War Zones. We play these games for the MMO aspect, Diablo 2 has 8 man groups, so should I just go play that? Open world PvP isn't always fair, and I actually like a challenge and being outnumbered to fight back and win.
  9. If they fixed Ilum and / or made open world PvP more viable, I'd stick around more.
  10. Well said, I agree with everything, this game seriously needs all of it.
  11. When I log into my Main I: Do dailies on Ilum, Corellia and Belsavis (try to , boring) Q for PvP - Get matched against face roll groups of the same people. Do laps around the Imperial Fleet on my speeder. Wonder why I bought a Collector's Edition. Log out.
  12. Ya Bioware pooped in the sink again on this one. They said unlocking the races would grant more customization options at the character creation stage. Such BS, as I tried to make a Brown Skinned Zabrak thinking I had access to the Sith Tattoos only to find out it never gave me any such options. Lies and more lies BW, just like the orange mods set bonuses transferring, but you didn't tell us only War Hero and beyond.
  13. So releasing a game just around Christmas with the intent on cashing in on the holidays with a game that probably needed another 6 months (to basically launch with 1.2 features), isn't greedy? Gimme a *********** break.
  14. By the time server transfers are online in early summer they'll need to start thinking of server merges because 1000s more including myself will be gone by that time, and I won't come back.
  15. Yes I remember, I'm still on Helm of Graush and it's taken a nose dive since then now always light at the most Standard, but I stopped checking.
  16. No they failed to stand their ground at launch (and on the eve of one of the most important holidays in NA), and they listened to those whiners who didn't want to wait 45 mins to get in during Christmas holidays. They could have just increased the server load which they eventually did, but not after they cracked and opened up too much.
  17. Dathomir for sure, home of the Nightsisters and dark force auras / Rancors.
  18. Not everyone has 40+ hours a week to devote to leveling up your old toon on a new server just because the company who made this game did a big booboo at pre launch. Is that really fair to your player base?
  19. Doing nothing but dragging a player base through the mud is also a bad decision. I was saying they should have shelved that in the first place, so it wouldn't be middle of development, gimme a break. When there are obvious red flags, you should act on it.
  20. i actually have used logic, and instead of giving us the legacy system in pieces, they should have just shelved that feature off completely including the last name until they had everything ready to what it would be in 1.3 and then deploy it. They could have shuffled their priorities around and the staff / devs working on the legacy system could have let's say worked on the tech need to get Ilum up and running again. Yes I'm not a developer, but I've read a lot of game design theory books, other books on game design, went to Animation for 3 years and wanted in the industry. So please get your head out of your ***. I've also been an avid gamer since Atari 2600 and the Burger Time days.
  21. The only thing I care / cared about is the devs seeing my initial response, your comments mean nothing to me as they are all but useless since you aren't a developer. You accusing me of creating another "I quit or everyone is leaving post" just helps bump this to the top and hopefully they might actually read what I originally had to say and none of the BS that follows
  22. The way you turned it was an obvious flame / troll attack, so I treat people the way they treat me buddy. Want to add like a goof, you'll get it back from me too.
  23. Are you serious dude? You actually are that pathetic that you want to judge what I have to say based on my post count on these forums? Did you know the beta forums were separate and did not add to my post count? Ever think of that Einstein? The above wasn't a whine it was my opinion and the truth. Sorry I don't waste all of my life on these forums and have 200+ posts like you.
  24. As someone who pays for their service, I should be able to voice my opinion on what I think is wrong with it. Of course there are complaints, but I'm not going to blow smoke and say that everything is fine? You can disagree with me all you want, you got sand in your eyes.
  25. I can post whatever I want buddy, and no offense but I've talked to and just seen across all these boards the negative issues people are concerned with and they are valid I'm sorry you are too blinded by your own ignorance you can't see it. Want to know why mid June? A lot will probably check out The Secret World even if it's made by Funcom, because that's what MMO gamer junkies do. This community is probably one of the worse things about this game, both on these forums and actually live. You're a living example of it, pat youself on your man ***** now.
