Feedback on the packs you asked for. They are trash. Anyone who is happy with them must have gotten incredibly lucky.

Feedback on Chapter 10, you seem to be under the impression was well received it wasn't. My guild is quitting, I can either follow them to MMO new or start the look for a new guild. Only with the lack of end game group content a new guild may not be necessary, but where you think and hour of new content a week will keep people subbing is something of a mystery.

Hey, I like the guild changes you listed and I'm eager to see/read more about them. I hope you are still open to suggestions :)(aka candidates from the Suggestion forums)

Ranks

More than 10 ranks. Please. Please. Please. At least 30 would be good, 50 would be awesome (and probably overkill but still awesome overkill). We currently have 5 raid teams and they all have to share the same rank, would be nice to have their own team names again. It's a group pride thing plus can also set different repair fund rates for them. Since the member limit is doubling then the number of raid teams etc also have the potential to be doubled so just changing the ranks to 20 wouldn't help that much.

Guild Chat

An announcement channel for /g that can be assigned to ranks. So officers type in it and it shows up in normal /g but highlighted. I know there are the custom chat channels but those have been broken for years and require guildies to manually join them.

Guild Ships/Strongholds

Make the Imperial Hangar Bay floor tile layout changeable. The Rep side guild ships can convert it to smaller layout blocks so they can place loads of the GSF ship decorations to look like attack wings but the Imp version is Starship hook size only.

Being able to set the spawn location in guild ships and strongholds would be awesome and would help encourage people to use areas people normally don't bother running to.

Change the "Pickup All Decorations" button from a gold key privilege to a rank settable permission as it can cause terrible accidental chaos on a guilds bridge deck ;)

100% hook increase, it is a massive space to be filled :D

Spare the younglings!

Add a config option that allows us to have a confirmation pop up when we use the right click "Guild" menus "Remove from Guild" option. It's so easy for people to be accidentally removed. As a config option it allows people to play it safe or go vanilla. Personally I would have the confirmation turned turned on and I'd ask my officers to do the same.

Guild Gold Keys

Change the gold key system so that moving the guild ship is not linked to the key. I want to give guildies the gold key so they can decorate their own rooms on the guild ship but I don't want them to move the ship. Most ranks in my guild have guild bank withdraw permission so they can repair/summon so turning that off is not an option here.

Giving people gold keys to individual rooms would be siiiiick! (but yeah I imagine highly unlikely)

I know this question will come up a bit. From the homepage (http://www.swtor.com), login and then click on your username in the top right corner and go to account. From there go to the Basic Information tab and scroll down. You will see three check boxes, you only need to opt in to SWTOR emails.

Can you have your QA guy test that it works before the day? I imagine a lot of people allready have the box checked and will be quite annoyed when the day comes and... nothing.

Will EC be accessible by characters who have not "crossed over" into KotFE?

In an attempt to help provide feedback, I would like to add my frustration/ disappointment with the new Cartel pack dropping the chance cubes. I think it may have been a good idea, but I was looking to get items displayed in the pack, not copies of old things I already had from other purchases. Out of a hypercrate, I only got a few things advertised in the pack. Thank you...

Anyone else find it incredibly ironic that the guild cap has been doubled at exactly the point where large guilds are dying out? I know that I personally would have been dancing in the streets if I heard this announcement a year and a half ago. Now… it's basically irrelevant aside from good feelings and memories.

Ben, this is your obligatory monthly reminder that serious endgame group content is important and your game is literally bleeding to death.

This deserves to be quoted for another few dozen pages.

That is exactly what I am taking away from this stream. Nothing. They do not even bother to adress the issue of group content anymore, meaning there will be none, at the very least not until the end of KoTFE and by then it will be too late to safe the myth that this game is still an MMO.

I kept my sub up this month to have a look at how good the single chapters would be. The result was 20 minutes of cutscenes and inbetween that I had to just run around and click things while some pityfully easy enemies tried to shoot me (I could have literally stood there for 20 minutes and have them shoot me without dropping in health).

The story was neither good, nor long enough to justify a subscription or this complete negligence of group content.

I know you don't care to read this anymore Eric and devs, you decided your way and that way includes pushing your veteran players aside in favour of attracting new players. Apparently your metrics show that it is more profitable to cater to people who sub for a few month and then move on again then actually putting time into making new content for the people who loyaly paid a sub for 4 years.

Makes sense, I guess, new people do not notice all the bugs you haven't fixed for years, new people haven't played all your revamped Ops a few hundred times, new people do not complain content is too easy. So yes, you will likely make your life a lot easier by loosing all those pesky veterans that actually point out your faults. It's really annoying when a customer criticises you, isn't it? Better get rid of them.

I hope you read your metrics right then. If not, well, you have already succesfully destroyed the guilds and community that carried your game the last years, so I suppose it will suck to be you then. Have fun!

Regarding the way the packs are now, I will probably never purchase another one ever again unless something changes.

When I buy a new pack, I expect new items. I don't care if the contents are labeled Bronze/Silver/Gold. What may be a gold item to someone else might be considered junk to me, and vice versa. I just expect when a new pack is released, all the contents are considered new, not old.

If people want old stuff, they can wait till Christmas when you guys re-release all the old packs. This chance cube should be renamed Old stuff cube.

Same question. If we are already opted in for emails, do we have to reset it to activate that CC reward or are we fine as is?

I think the whole point is just that they're going to distribute the CC code via email, so they're giving fair warning that if you're not signed up to get emails then you obviously won't be able to receive it.

It shouldn't matter when you actually toggled it on, so long as you're on the "yes, we can send this person emails" list once they go out.

February Subscriber Gift

  • Be a subscriber who is opted in to receive emails by 2/14...
  • Receive a code for 1050 Cartel Coins
  • Receive a code you can give a friend which will give them access to Chapter I: The Hunt along with a feww level 60
  • If you want to opt in to receive emails, go to your account page on swtor.com and you opt in there

Can someone clarify on the email opting in part? I assume it's the section under My Account > Account Creation and the part at the bottom. Am I just opting into the swtor updates? Bioware/LucasArts updates? Something else entirely that I missed?

Edit: Never mind, I found the answer earlier in the thread.

Well, honestly, this is very good, but as far as quality of life goes, you should give us the option to remove the planet/stronghold ownership message, it's too long, too big, and for those who don't care who owns what it gets old very fast.

Thank you in advance.

And for those who would want to say that they farmed it so they earned it, yeah you earned the ownership of the zone, i am not denying that, what you will never earn however is my screen and what should/should not appear on it.

Great news.

Been some excellent improvements I LOVE like stacks of 9999, comps sorted by affection, now 5 SH, double guild size etc they seem to really be trying to make us happy now.

The 1050 CC and free L60 for a friend is great. If they are FTP I assume they will be frozen at L60. Also if they can only do Chapter One I wonder what means as far as companions go?

Not just a new WZ but also a new map for 4 v4...fantastic!

The Eternal Championship looks amazing, maybe I will have to slog a couple more alts through KOTFE to do it.

Firm release date for Chapter XI is great.

By the was the "feww level 60" would be a typo for "free level 60" as R is next to E and E is next to W. on the keyboard.

Only downer is the horrible chance cubes in the new packs but I think they hear the anger and hopefully this will never happen again.

Cool, so we can now have and use all 5 strongholds. Kinda sucks if we had one that was fully unlocked and then had to abandon it to buy "one of the more expensive ones".

I understand it was my choice, and I really don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, but for those of us that are in that boat I'll ask.

Does the SH we "had" to abandon come back, do we need to purchase again, if we need to purchase again, do we get a percentage off the purchase for having owned it?

There are no words that can encompass how excited I am. I feel like a kid looking at the gift-wrapped packages under the tree and begging for the chance to open them up. Or at least I can relate to the way Eric was bouncing in his seat during the livestream, hehe. Thank you, Bioware!

And I just realized that sounded soooo wrong, muahahaha.
