  1. Same happened to me.. all was going fine until I approached Malgus. He says something, I dont remember what, but doesn't even move, let alone hit me, then my screen goes black, and I'm back at area start point. This was on story mode, btw.
  2. I decided to move my lvl 52 Imp Sniper to run Ossus, and skip the outlander stuff, since I had already done it with sooo many other characters. (Sniper and 1 or 2 others was one of my lesser faves done mostly to complete the set, but I wanted them all current and reunited with their original comps as soon as they can be) So I used the Master's Datacron and moved this blue dude (Chiss) to lvl 70, and began the Ossus stuff, waiting for an Alliance alert to get reunite with Raina Temple... nothing. Noticed she was in my Comps list, but didn't even get back her armor or customization.. clicked on it, to find out that my Sniper and Raina were unable to rekindle their romance. Really unhappy about how that turned out, but can't do anything about it. I bring it up here just in case someone else is thinking of doing it, here is a very specific thing that (can) happen to your character, so make sure it's what you want to do, and it may not turn out exactly how you want.
  3. Ok, I got another month's subscription because I hate leaving things undone, and where I've left my Jedi knight was fighting Vailyn's spirit. (on Nathema, I chose the option to keep Lord Dramath, but the game glitched and acted as though I set him free, so I've been stuck getting my rear destroyed by Vailyn's spirit since launch of KOET) Anyway, I decided to try it with my Sith Maurader, and things went smoothly. When you're fighting Valkorian, and use Vailyn's conditioning on him, there was the option to say something along the lines of 'my mind, my rules', indicating, to me, at least, that since this is all taking place in the Outlander's mind, he can use whatever he deems necessary to win the fight, regardless if it would work in the real world. Since the Outlander is what I would consider to be a highly intelligent person, he would have figured this out at the beginning when he appeared to look like Valkorian, or at least by the time he finished repairing the 5 fractured memories. Since this is all happening in the Outlander's mind, and he can pull whatever 'trick' he needs to, why was he not able to call on a companion to help him fight Vailyn's spirit? (since it was my mind, my rules, he should've been able to call any companion, even the dead ones.)
  4. I've read and re-read all the different posts about how to beat Vaylin's spirit, I know how it needs to be done. My knight is more than well enough equipped for the task, I don't remember the numbers offhand, but all the gear is fine. My op was mostly geared toward giving an option for other folks that's having as difficult a time with it as I did. Personally I'm sort of over it. I had unsubbed last month after the chapter 9 fiasco, and it bugged me that I didn't see the conclusion. I re-subbed for the life day stuff, but was really kinda disappointed in that stuff, so I thought about going back to the story, and had the same turnout. Decided to start KoFE with my Warrior ( to make dark choices, etc.) and was just bored with it. I think I'm done. I appreciate all the help I've gotten in the forums, I'm just not excited to play anymore.
  5. First off, let me state that I do not intend to speak for everyone that plays this game. I only speak for myself, and there are probably some folks that would agree with me. I've had my ups and downs with this game, as I've played since launch, etc., but Chapter 9 of KoFE has me stymied. I understand the mechanics of the fight with Vailyn's spirit, I've read and re-read different ideas on how to fight her from various players that have successfully beaten her. For whatever reason, I cannot beat her, get killed pretty quickly and spend thousands and thousands of credits on armor repair. And yes, I attempted to keep the spirit of the Sith in the holocron for later usage on Nathema, but the game glitched and it made me let him go, so no, I can't use him. (already contacted support, they can't help with that one.) I've read that quite a lot of players are having real difficulties in beating that spirit, and I thought it would be extremely helpful if the devs made it so we can share the instance and get some help from other players. I don't pretend to know how difficult that would be from a programming point of view, but from this side, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard, flip a switch or type in a code? Anyway, I'm sure there will be folks that hate the idea, and that's fine, I didn't intend this to be something that everyone had to use, only those that chose to. I've had fun with the stories, and the battles, but honestly, this fight with Vailyn is not challenging, or fun, it's obscenely annoying. (just my opinion.)
  6. I've not quite even finished the last of chapter 9 KoTE, and I've removed my billing info so I won't be resubbed. Which is kind of a letdown, I've been here since beta.
  7. I didn't even get an opportunity to get Lord Dramath, and I've done most of the things that were advised in this thread, but I can't even get away from her when she starts to do her thing, she either grabs and holds me in place, grabs and brings me back to her or just tosses me off the edge. One time I landed on a chunk of floating rock and didn't die, but since I couldn't jump back up there I had to off myself. Playing as a JK in case it matters..
  8. I second this. It just sounds like a fun little roll of the dice!
  9. I find it to be really irritating when I'm spending time looking through the GTN and get the afk message.
  10. While I personally am indifferent about podracing, I do think this is a pretty cool idea. I think it would be a cool feature that if you didn't want to participate in the podracing, you could watch it, either from the stands, or on a holoviewer and make wagers on the outcome.
  11. Just because it could possibly be available, doesn't mean you'd be required to use it.
  12. Ok, so I had this idea for a light trident. The character could carry it on their back and when they equip for battle, the back could extend, similar to Senya's lightsaber, and 3 (shorter) blades come out of the business end. I thought one color crystal would give you stats and color (for all 3 blades) but you could add other crystals (for color only) if you wanted to have a multiple colored trident. It would also be cool if a shorter version were made available, so characters other than those that have double bladed lightsaber ability could use them. Also, when Quinn is returned to the story, please make it so we can kill him on site. My Sith never forgives or forgets.
  13. Thank you all, the vendor's name is Nica Leross, and it does appear to be the Freedon Nadd armor, or really close. http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w476/wllmsn_jacklordreaver/Nica%20Leross2_zpsg4dznvfl.jpg http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w476/wllmsn_jacklordreaver/Nica%20Leross3_zpsluabaywv.jpg http://i1077.photobucket.com/albums/w476/wllmsn_jacklordreaver/Nica%20Leross1_zps6t46ow2v.jpg
