Sorrai Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 (edited) 1) FLYING MOUNTS No doubt this would present an enormous challenge for the developers to implement but I think flying mounts ranging from exotic winged beasts to speeder craft and star fighters would be glorious and add a new element of fun and freedom to the game. 2) GROUP MOUNTS Special mounts that give players the option to take additional passengers would be awesome and add a new element of social fun to the game. Perhaps there could be mounts that could accommodate 2 passengers and others that could carry a maximum of 4. A speeder bike with an extra seat or sidecar or a larger speeder to shuttle a full group to their next Heroic 4, World Boss, Operation or Flashpoint, etc. 3) COMPANION MOUNTS For a long time I have been wanting the satisfaction of seeing a mount that showed your companion riding along. It adds to the enjoyment of playing to not see your companions magically poof in and out of existence whenever I mount up. Perhaps if a 2-person speeder was made to accommodate another player it could also accommodate a companion whenever the player is flying solo. 4) RESOLVE THE CLIPPING ISSUE It's very annoying whenever player outfits clip through a mount. It looks very silly seeing a flap of robe poking through the bottom of a speeder. 5) DECORATIONS Since we're on the subject of mounts it would be nice to see some decorations like a multi stall garage for speeders or a multi-pen stable for beasts. Or are the poor scrubs that cant afford even the ugliest Ubrikki forced to ride a smelly flesh beast? There is so much potential for wheeled and tracked things. Give to me please. Remember there are tracked vehicles all over the place in the game already. Imperial's have some neat crew transports with tracks. OH! And some spider walker style things would be cool too, I know someone wanted a spider walker throne, but heck, anything spider walkery would be great! No more reskins of the stuff nobody uses anyway. But even that's not what I wanted to say, however this is: 1) First we would need actual flying mounts. How silly it is to have interstellar travel, all this tech available and no mount which can actually fly? Not to mention all the areas which would be cool to use with flying mounts and yet there aren't any? 2) Mounts which can take on more then one person. Say people group up and group leader summons the mount. Others then right click on group leader portrait and select "Board" and they get seated. Group leader will then do the driving. Anyone who wants to get off (at any point) just hits the space key and then jumps off the vehicle. There could be mounts which take on 2 people and mounts which can take on the whole group (different shapes and sizes of course). 3) Mounts usable also inside operations and flashpoints (where they're not yet), it's silly needing to run on foot all those distances from entrance to the boss while each person has several mounts he/she could use to speed up the traveling.
