  1. no rage here. I have gone through the story once (I have absolutely no desire to go through it again, no spoilers!) I have played a couple of uprisings, the rest of the "so called new content" I had already done previously. I actually liked chasing crystals, and upgrading armor, and making choices. Even though I was never hardcore about it. It was still an aspect of the game I enjoyed. To be handed random armor (like a 3 year old child) for hours and hours of grinding, no thanks, there are other games. I'll be back in Winter 2017! Because, and you all know this, the armor you all spend grinding out all year will be USELESS with the next expansion, so why bother wasting the time. There are other games out there!
  2. No these corporate types are under the illusion that if they say it, it must be true. You can't blame them, they surround themselves with yes people, and people that kiss up to them every chance they get.
  3. After considering it. I think I am just going to play through the chapters and then be done with it. I am not mad or raging. It is just simple, why spend so much time trying to gain equipment that will be obsolete in the next expansion? The reality is, I can do just about all the new content I want to do with my current 208/216 armor. No veteran or whatever mode, that is fine, because it is the same content, only more difficult. I am not alone in my feelings, my friends from work feel the same way. We aren't mad, or raging, we have just simply gone through the old content enough times already. There are other games out there. We'll go through the chapters 1 or 2 times, then move on.
  4. Multi-person vehicle! Could be any number of mounts (vehicles) already in the game only modified to carry more than 1 player.
  5. The exp unlocks are nice! The class quest 6%, and also companion conversation bonuses are nice for the money they charge for them. Especially if you consider that it is basically free because I am only using subscriber coins to pay for them!
  6. I don't have any numbers, but if you look at the GM and see how many Cartel items are for sale. This game is FAR from dying. Then look at the starter zones and there are 2 instances with over 100 each, I would say this game is doing QUITE well. I would say from a pure income point of view, this has got to be one of the highest grossing MMO games out there (obviously WoW with its huge subscriber base is #1). I would dare say this game is #2 from a gross margin point of view.
  7. Noobcake. Poptart. February. Wednesday. JarJarBinkRules.
  8. Just do what I do, play the game and ignore the forums (for the most part). When I get tired of the game (it is VERY focused in what it does, almost to limited for an MMO), just stop playing for awhile. No big deal. Then when you feel like playing, go ahead and play. I have learned a long time ago that no one cares.
  9. This idea isn't meant for everyone. The scope of the game is kill, and story quest. However, I think it would be a good idea for them to widen the scope of the game. This would not take a whole lot of programming to put in, unless they went all out and added a story to this new "class". Just a few dance moves for each tier, that shouldn't be all that hard.
  10. Okay, I know this is an SWG thing. I know SWTOR isn't SWG. I know it is a different game, but hear me out. How about a Dancer profession were you go and watch the Dancer for a while and get some sort of buff? I am not saying a crazy game breaking buff, or even a buff that you HAVE to have, but something that is still nice to have. Say for example a buff that doubles your current buffs (which might be slightly game breaking). The thing is, the Dancer profession would appeal to some people that don't want to just kill, kill, kill. This is something that SWG did do that was right, and I am surprised that no one else had picked up on this. The entertainers in SWG had their whole little social thing. It would bring life to the cantinas.

  12. I agree with the original poster about the problems in this game, however, what will ultimately decide this games fate is its future content. I just don't see how they can pump out yearly expansions with full voice over. If they don't do yearly expansions, people will grow bored with it.
