No just joking(unless you want to) The rocket boost as a mount would be cool(jets at the feet if you don't have a jet pack or jets on the player's armor jetpack). I'd like my taun tauns to function better on Hoth or my Bantha to work better on Tatoooine. That or some other way to work at increasing your mount speed, even if it's reputation based. A sidecar version would probably be easiest, since you've already got the (non-companion) sidecar built. Even cooler would be a speeder bike where your companion can ride behind you (like Luke and Leia do in Return of the Jedi) or a landspeeder where you sit side-by-side, something like Luke's X-34. You could probably easily adapt some existing mounts for this purpose. It's always been the case that I feel like I don't see my companions a lot of the time as I speed from place to place exploring and accomplishing quests. serpentari Posted July 24, 2015 Share Posted July 24, 2015 thumbs up for 1) FLYING MOUNTS No doubt this would present an enormous challenge for the developers to implement but I think flying mounts ranging from exotic winged beasts to speeder craft and star fighters would be glorious and add a new element of fun and freedom to the game. 2) GROUP MOUNTS Special mounts that give players the option to take additional passengers would be awesome and add a new element of social fun to the game. Perhaps there could be mounts that could accommodate 2 passengers and others that could carry a maximum of 4. A speeder bike with an extra seat or sidecar or a larger speeder to shuttle a full group to their next Heroic 4, World Boss, Operation or Flashpoint, etc. 3) COMPANION MOUNTS For a long time I have been wanting the satisfaction of seeing a mount that showed your companion riding along. It adds to the enjoyment of playing to not see your companions magically poof in and out of existence whenever I mount up. Perhaps if a 2-person speeder was made to accommodate another player it could also accommodate a companion whenever the player is flying solo. 4) RESOLVE THE CLIPPING ISSUE It's very annoying whenever player outfits clip through a mount. It looks very silly seeing a flap of robe poking through the bottom of a speeder. 5) DECORATIONS Since we're on the subject of mounts it would be nice to see some decorations like a multi stall garage for speeders or a multi-pen stable for beasts. Just a thought. especially that it would perfectly fit with my ideas 1) raptor - black-red, with red glowing eyes. or orange like lava. been wanting that ever since i met a raptor on makeb xD 2) orange varieties of varactyl and luxury skiff. (and overall more colors and flourish to old popular rides) 3) signing under dragons, force flight, walkers and tanks with proper cockpit and flying mounts (see below) also, how about actual functional mounts? We have tons of mounts and they are all totally simmilar in function, moving twice as fast as a running char (seriously, tech age, a car moves slower than a live earthly horse and speed never depends on the desighn). thats absurd. so aproximate types of mounts 1) tank - moves slower but offers more protection, or even can shoot 2) flying - actually FLY. not depending on the surface. but the char is injured is knocked out of the air 3) non-flying, but more fast and agile mounts like a varactyl, can climb steep slopes, but are vulnarable. 4)sneaky - gree spheres and such, proper sneak mode, no protection, slow movement, chance of fail. 5)agro-management - big mighty beasts or tanks, that scare the mobs away and most important - please, DO something with cloth cliping after all theese years! guess there should actually be personal mounts and guild ones. like the said walking tank, carrying 8 ppl, which reqs a 16m raid to have 2. offtop - speaking of guild transports, can we have smaller guild ships? i dont need a dreadnout actually, a smaller smth would do, i can live if that smaller ship would be unfit for conquest, with only transport functions available. Shae Vizla/Sabine Wren sized jetpack (hail mary style request). 15. Jango/Boba Fett style Jetpack (hail mary style request) 16. Monocycle Redone as General Grievous' War Wheel (hail mary style request) 17. Corellian Rocket Car style Trolley (left field crazy idea of this list discard if implausible) Biggest request, shout out to Kranitoko in his latest pack opening video (Mid-rim), the most recent reminder-- we want to see our companions in the mounts with us if it is a two seater if that is possible would be VERY very cool. Add all Galactic Starfighters as mounts, please (similar to how the Flashfire has a Flash mount version)! It would be super cool if Mastering a ship in Galactic Starfighter would grant you the mount version of it as a reward! It would be so cool for pilot roleplay, as you could sit and fly around in your mount roleplaying while waiting for a GSF match to pop! This puts it better, what I was trying to say!
