Lord_Garrex
Is there cheaper legacy gear available than what is sold by the vendor on Dromund Kaas? I'd like to send some item mods from my level 55 toon but don't want to spend over a million credits (cost of gear + extraction of mods).
altaboy
I don't know how much the Dromund Kaas gear goes for. But the Bounty Hunter event that happens monthly has some cheap legacy bound gear. You need to have a certain rep level with them though. DimmuJanKaarl
iirc the legacy gear on oricon isn't that expensive. there's also legacy gear at one of the czerka vendors isn't there?
DaxCalvo
Also Section X. The Gree event armor. Pretty much anything tied to reputation levels.
morfius
All reputation gear is BoL - BHW (2 sets + ranged weapons), Gree (3 sets + all weapons), CZ-198 (2 sets + melee weapon), Section X, Makeb (2 sets per faction) & so on.
DataBeaver
The reputation armors are indeed cheaper than the inheritance and birthright ones, and the lower tiers don't require too much reputation to buy. Over time you'll also accumulate the inheritance and birthright construction kits, which can be used instead of credits to buy those armors. JattaGin
Here you can find all available legacy gear in the game: http://tor-fashion.com/legacy-sets/ I think pretty much every set is cheaper than the legacy sets from the home worlds. TUXs
GSI dug up gear, time not credits though! (Dreadseed/Starforger) This is a quick and cheap way to get some gear this week (assuming you don't have the Rep for other gear sets).
Lord_Garrex
Thanks for all the replies - I appreciate it. Here you can find all available legacy gear in the game: http://tor-fashion.com/legacy-sets/ That Dreadseed helmet is just plain nasty. Where can I score one of those? GSI only or are there additional ways?

GythralSWTOR
I dug mine up in the seeker droid treasure area south of the pvp area on tattooine, in a heroic tusken raider area. You have to complete the seeker driod mission line with: [HEROIC 4] The Alchemy of Evil/Uprooting the Last Seed then dig it up on Tattooine (does not matter which faction you are as both can be dug up by either) full guide to all the parts and dig sites: http://dulfy.net/2013/04/15/swtor-dreadseed-and-star-forager-armor-locations-guide/ Edited January 14, 2014 by GythralSWTOR

I figure all about that. I remember now that I added I got the armor from finishing the story line, I immediately went looking for the helmet. I'm fairly certain that they're BOP, not BOL. This would make the most sense anyway, given that they're mailed to all of your characters.
