  1. I don't think he'll be a recruitment mission. I think he'll be a consumable that adds him as a companion, like the one for Nico Okarr. The character will remain dead canonically, but you'll be free to use him outside the KotFE story, like with class companions you reclaim from the terminal.
  2. I would play it through act III for the legacy force choke, and try to max some companions for those bonuses, but hey, do what thou wilt.
  3. Death from Above stops you from doing other things, but fires instantly. Orbital Strike lets you move while it's firing, but stops you from doing anything while you summon it. Both take that time, just one takes it before and one during. Neither should be stronger than the other. The cost is the same.
  4. Tionese Trooper armor was awesome, which is why in glad to see some elements of it live on in the Section X rep armor.
  5. I'm seeing a lot of complaining, and have since the first patch of the expansion. As someone who clearly sees this stuff differently than the vocal minority, I wanted to put my opinion out into the ether. Our first expansion, which brought us Makeb, and a raised level cap, was clearly one aimed at endgame players. It have them new levels to gain, gear to obtain , and challenges to overcome. The second one is not for those players. It's for players who haven't yet reached endgame. Or for players like myself, altaholics, who have hit endgame on multiple characters and keep going back for more. Leveling additional characters, to experience different gameplay, see the other stories, and unlock legacy bonuses. For us, this expansion is a blessing. The new flashpoint gives us a leveling flashpoint who's queue should pop much more frequently than others (assuming an equal number of people queuing). One with an accompanying rep track, the only non-event, non-cartel pack one we can really work on while leveling. Between this and the space PVP combat, we have been given two great new options to break up the old leveling grind. One each for PVE and PVP players. Options are great for altaholics, who are largely repeating the same content in side missions and planet arcs while leveling. I do wish that the expansion hadn't eaten two of our content patches, but overall I am quite happy with what they have given us.
  6. You are GUARANTEED two Blue rep tokens per run, one for mission completion and one for the boss. The greens and/or blues that drop from earlier mobs are like a bonus. You're also guaranteed one free purple per character for doing the one-time mission. Between that and two blues per run, you can EASILY cap rep without ever winning a single roll.
  7. You can get Basic comms once a day for Tactical Flashpoints from the Group finder. After that, it's all Planetary comms. As long as they sick to that formula, and I hope that they do, these won't replace regular Flashpoints for endgame comms and gearing. Which means that healers and tanks will be just as needed as hey have ever been. Tactical Flashpoints, as they are right now, add something for characters of all levels: variety.
  8. I like Kuat quite a bit, for a number of reasons. 1) I like Reputation. I don't know why I like it as much as I do, but I do. The one time quest gives a purple token. You get two blue tokens guaranteed every run (one for boss, one for mission completion) PLUS a chance at extra greens as a bonus. I'm a Rep locust, and I'll easily have this track maxed in the minimum possible time. 2) It's great when you're low on time. The role-neutrality means a faster queue, and the FP is pretty short. I had 45 minutes before I needed to leave for work. I was able to queue, run the Flashpoint, buy the Bomber paint scheme from the vendor, and still run to the store real quick before work. 3) The variable nature of it. The RNG will make the experience different for everyone, but I have run the FP on two characters, one Republic and one Imperial, a total of five or six times. I still have yet to play one of the five scenarios, and I have only fought two of the five bosses. This is keeping it fresh, despite my running it back to back to back. 4) Repeatability. It's not a daily, or a weekly. There are no lockouts. I can choose to run it again and again and again. Getting the xp, the credits and the rep as much as I like. The only thing slowing down my progress is the weekly cap on rep, but I can still run the mission and save tokens for next week.
  9. My main is a Light Side Trooper Commando. I love the Clone Troopers from the prequel movies. In particular, I love the Republic Commandos from the video game and novel series. I also always thought that the autocannons wielded by certain ARC Troopers and Clone Commanders were especially awesome. It's like Commandos were specially made to press my every button.
  10. This would be seriously cool. I also seriously doubt we ever see anything like this.
  11. Aww, well, poodoo. What's the point if them registering in collections then? >_<
  12. I'm pretty sure they are in Collections, which is what I was referring to doing.
  13. I have the full set of Grade 7a, and I could always spend CC to get them again for my other 3 50+ characters. I just wanted to make sure that they were working right, now. Thanks guys.
  14. Specifically, the heroics, or whatever was going wrong with the Grade 7 equipment? I want to start working on that Reputation track, but last time I tried it was absurdly difficult. I read something before about needing to swap some of the Grade 7s, which weren't working properly, with Grade 6s? If that is still the case, which ones do I need to switch out?
  15. Just give us mount racing in general. Use current mount models. Have separate vehicle and animal queues. Have it be racing , but with some fighting allowed. Like Road Rash. I'd be all over it.
  16. Also Section X. The Gree event armor. Pretty much anything tied to reputation levels.
  17. Ran into this a couple of times today. Yes, it is annoying. But since kills aren't the goal, just let them run. You're supposed to be taking or defending the nodes. Them running away is as good as killing them. Either way, they aren't there to interfere with the real goal.
  18. I am a primarily solo player. I level my characters mostly in their story missions and associated planet arcs, with only the occasional Flashpoint thrown in. I've still never queued for PVP. Even after hitting the level cap, I still end up playing solo a lot of the time. I get on, I do dailies, I do a heroic or a Flashpoint here or there to complete weeklies, and then I typically log I to another character to do the same or to level. On e in a while, I decide I want better gear than the solo grind can get my main. I don't complain about a lack of soloable content to get it. I queue for a HM Flashpoint to get some elite comms. I've done a few ops before. No one forced me to, and the gear I'm getting from that stuff isn't necessary to do the soloable content that I usually do. The vast majority of the content in this game is perfectly soloable if you're at the intended level with appropriate gear. Even stuff like heroics, not intended for solo players, are soloable if you outlevel them a bit. The same goes for pretty much all Flashpoints that have a version tuned for anything less than 55. There's pretty much nothing pre-Makeb that you can't solo. I'll never understand the concept of "I play this way, so take away from the people who play differently" mindset. I don't PVP, but I don't complain about a lack of PVE Huttball. That's PVP content. PVP ayers get that and, if I really want to experience it, I can step outside of my comfortable little box to do so. The same goes for HM Flashpoints and Ops. When I get in the mood to do them, I queue up or find a group forming for them, step out of my comfort zone and experience a different kind of fun than what I am used to. If I could solo that content, I wouldn't do that, and that's be one less potential teammate for the group players to work with. It would take me out of the pool and make it harder for people who like to group up to fill groups. Tl;dr - The amount of "forced group" content in this game is so small compared to soloable content that it wouldn't hurt you to join a team once in a while.
  19. Cool story, bro. I'm gonna keep leveling alts, doing HMs and Ops, and looking forward to the Oricon content coming very soon. Just because you can't see past the Cartel market doesn't mean that there isn't content to be played.
  20. The expansion is "RISE of the Hutt Cartel." We who already purchased it have already experiences the Rise. We Rose. We have Risen. We are The Risen. I'm sure that's the thought process behind that particular title.
  21. Are the kingpin bounty weekly lockouts per character or per legacy? If I get the Coruscant Kingpin with my trooper, can I still get the same one with my Consular? Do I have a limit of 8 kingpins per week total, or per character?
  22. I love the Section X set (Republic side as I like the helmet better), and the Gree set, and use both of those on various characters. There are others that I think are alright, but haven't yet purchased or found a character that I want them on.
  23. You know what? I don't even need customizations for them. Just let me DYE them. I want M1-4X to match the rest of my Havoc Squad.
  24. The OP isn't asking for someone to alter the existing helm. He's asking for them to release an additional, tweaked version of it, which is something they've already shown a willingness to do.
