  1. The effectiveness of damage reduction due to taunt and guard needs to be linked to Shield/Absorb as well.
  2. Huttball needs more movement, not less. These changes are awful. Now it's give the ball to a talk and escort him to the goal.That was huttball in 1.x when a sorc's pull was on cooldown. Boring.
  3. If only we had enough players to take that "rating" separate the player base into tiers and have matchmaking based on tier.
  4. Well you're not being bad since the ball keeps moving forward. In football the quarterback throws the ball to where he wants/thinks the receiver will be, not where the receiver is. But if someone jumps to the receiver in huttball, there's a chance that the jumper will be closer to the center and thus intercepts the pass.
  5. Assuming the person that your passing to doesn't move, double click always perfectly centers the pass, thus it can't be intercepted.

  7. I find it very odd they're asking about pets, mounts, and decos. Why not return ALL that were removed?
  8. More likely Harb is getting a taste of the queue bug Ebon Hawk and the other NA East servers have been dealing with since the NA East servers were moved earlier in the year. After all, they're all in the same data center now, so it was only a matter of time before NA West servers got infected.
  9. How about free transfers for overflow characters? That way people with tons of characters can spread them about between East, West, and Eu if they like.

  11. Since the last big server merge I've been waiting for a character name to be freed up. I lost it to a level 20 trooper that hasn't been on in YEARS. But the character still exists, not being played. I had to have an alt code in that characters name and later when they allowed a space in the name, I gave the character a last name. While I suspect the name will still be taken after the merge, I'm sure there are some names out there that are inactive across multiple servers that will become free because of the 90 day wipe.
  12. I love the name Hot Prospects.... sounds like the new home of Ebon Hawk RP (even though it's not.) Hope the east coast players will come home.
  13. Not really. Not having credits on my alts kept me for years from making impulse buys on the GTN that I'd probably regret.
  14. I'm hoping that level 20 that's been holding one of my character names hostage since launch gets wiped away. I used to have an alt code character in the name, when they introduced spaces I renamed the character to have a last name. Hoping this process will free the regular name.
  15. Nope. Would you consider... Definitely. It's been considered, that doesn't mean it's happening. I do not believe they have the resources for multiple stories.
  16. I still think you guys should leave them where they are right now. It's bringing people back to the content the same way credits and the alliance system brought people back to the Heroic 2. The level scaling system made it so that we don't steam roll the content. If you're going to do anything, look at scaling the Section X Heroic 4 down to Heroic 2 so people can solo it with a companion properly instead of slogging through Heroic 4 mobs and then ignoring the bonus boss.
  17. With the return of end game gear on bosses and via pvp currency I don't understand why CXP rewards have to remain low. If they were increased they could actually increase the cap one day. The problem with the current desire is the 1-299 grind on alt/new characters. Increasing to 400 or 500 would make that grind even worse and far less rewarding because none of the 1-300 gear would match up to the end game. You also can't introduce new rewards for 1-300 to replace the outdated gear because people 300+ can't get those new rewards and if you stick them in 300+ boxes then you're reducing the rewards for 300+ compared to 1-300.
  18. I'm on board with keeping the bugged CXP values. If it takes 4 days to go from 1-300 doing all the dailies every day, then without double CXP it's 8 days. For someone more casual that doesn't want to do all the dailies every day, it's even longer. It's a great caught up mechanic that makes Dailies relevant again just like the revamp Heroic 2s got. It doesn't matter if it's intended or not. It's had a positive impact on the game.

  20. I'd like to see it remain.. well not doubled, but the high rates. If it can take 4 days of doing all the old dailies to get 1-300, then without double CXP it should take 8 days. That's not a bad grind for someone doing all that content every day, for someone doing less, it's even longer. It's a great catchup mechanic and gives people a reason to do that content beside the reputation (that isn't used for anything but cosmetics now.)
  21. It's the return of the Alpha crewskill. If you don't have biochem on every end game character just so you can use the consumables with better stats you're gimped.
  22. Maybe we can just skip to the part where you guys tell us SWTOR won't be supporting XP and Vista anymore. I mean the reason Blizzard stopped supporting them is because of whatever's going on with security certificates in October on XP and Vista.
  23. I've never liked that the ships/companions/loadouts aren't mirrors of eachother. (Maybe I'm mistake by this point, but it just seemed I couldn't build my republic ship on sith side.) Now I realize a XWing and TIE Interceptor aren't mirrors of eachother. BUT swtor makes no effort to mirror the Xwing vs TIE Interceptor trade offs either.
  24. I'm still for eliminating gear from PvP all together and making player skill be the only thing that matters. 242 would be a happy place so that skill matters but there's still a tier of gear that rewards players for putting in the work.
