What happened to "until 6pm CDT"? /sadface They said they are there till 6pm CDT and there definitely wouldn't be ones after that. They also said that the reason they were doing that is because they had to be there to monitor when they released new servers... so they are giving themselves three hours to make sure everything is ok and if necessary fix anything that isn't. I can tell you that this is the last update for today. thanks for wasting another day with no news about my server's transfers... At this point preordering to get into early access and get your toon names was all for nil.. by the time my server gets moved there will be no decent names left. and before someone says be original I typically go with names from different languages and they are still taken on what looks like the East coast pvp destination server. joeypesci Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 As of now, the plan is still to maintain transfers between PvP to PvP, PvE to PvE, RP-PvP to RP-PvP, and RP-PvE to RP-PvE. The fact that only one RP-PvP server exists for each language in Europe does not change this, so you are right: for this initial phase, there won't be any free character transfers available for these three servers in order to maintain the servers' designations as RP-PvP. However, as we mentioned before, this is all part of our initial service. Future versions of the character transfer service may allow more options in your choice of destination servers and may require a transfer fee. That's me out then. So I'm stuck on a dead server. You're not getting any of my money next month, I'm not paying you money to be stuck on a dead server. Way to treat your customers. This year BW has gone into the history books for the worst customer server ever. Watch Lord Calypho die even more than it already is. Fing useless. Even though I'm still a bridesmaid I am happy to see so many people getting grouped together, some of them will be playing an entirely new game tonight and that should be exciting for all of us. That's my problem about it....i don't know how many late night shift I did at *insert video game company* to get X game out in time and fix Y problem...You would think they could all work more than a 8 hour shift or maybe there's some technical thing I just do not understand... Can you share with us if any of the remaining servers will become destination servers, or have you and the team already set up all of the destination servers for the free character transfer service? Depending on the number of servers being merged, you could end up with another reasonably big server. Many weekends and extra hours have been worked in order to bring us to this point. Within the past 48 hrs, we've opened up 122 servers for character transfers in a service that has run (relatively and knock on wood) smoothly. We understand your passion and desire for a transfer, but know that we are taking many factors into account, including making sure that servers are stable.
