Well it's still more useful than accuracy, so I'll still be stacking surge.

 

If more lvl 25 enhancements existed, maybe I would have a choice to balance stuff out.

 

They do. Drops in hardmode raids yo.

 

 

We need to be able to buy the enhancements we want for our gear.

Lol, i went fro 81% to 71% and my on use pvp relic which give 235 surge give me 6%

 

woo!

 

I'm glad it's a nerf across the board for PvP though. Good and ****y move at the same time. I wonder if they'll nerf PvE raid boss as a compensation(spelling?)

 

What ? Does this nerf only affect PvP ?

yeah raids going to be the area most affected, esp with the 30 fury auto crits losing that little bit.

 

about to get on and see how pvp is affected, I use pve gear in there, averaged about 310k so that little bit of surge ill probably miss out in some games on the 300k medal.

soon pvp in this game will mean you never die cuz everyone will hit like noodles and now op/smugglers are RLY mad cuz they got nerfed twice in a row LOOOOOOOOOOOLOLOL!!

 

so did anni marauders, and this one hurts even more than the last probably (im not a number cruncher so im just guessing there)

well i had a couple of games, theres one bm trooper healer on my server and i couldnt get him below 70% he just healed through it all.

 

Everything else seems fine, still topped meters overall numbers are lower. I survived a bit longer but. Guess it was good for people not in pvp gear :)

 

the next question is raiding so tomorrows our raid day. will be interesting.

Not being able to kill a healer is never a bad thing.

 

The entire point of putting pressure on a healer is that they can't free-cast heals and are forced to split HoTs and not get as many casted heals off.

 

 

On topic, this nerf is, obviously, across the board and in no way only affects Marauders. I have yet to see an encounter where almost hitting the enrage timer was a problem if everyone knew what they were doing. I'm sure the nerf - while obviously affecting all class's overall DPS - it won't affect progression at all.

 

I could be completely wrong, but as I said I've never had an enrage timer problem.

In a way, Carnage Marauders got buffed (compared to Rage/Annihilation) since their only 100% sure crit was Scream. Sure they still get crits on other abilities, but Rage spec got 100% crits on Smash (quite a damage reduction there) and Annihilation had 100% crits with Berserk, on top of having very high general crit ratings on bleeds.

 

I have been Rage for a few days to try it out (that and respec costs are getting too high) but I didn't really notice a massive difference in damage output on my Smashes. Granted, I only have around 250 Surge, so that might be why.

 

I've yet to try it on the other specs, because, as I said, my respec costs are getting too high and I'm waiting for them to reset.
