  1. Why only these 6 for daily objectives ? Why half of them are pub only ? Am I missing something ? If you're pugging, using the group finder, and you play empire, well, the only one that realistically has good chances is Kaon. Rishi and Umbara usually people quit after zoning in...
  2. Kinda in the same boat. I have zero knowledge of the EU. But for me Star Wars ended with ROTJ, the movie where Palpatine died and the Death Star was like, I don't know... vaporized ? Now, when it comes to swtor if it is that chump's lightsaber we're talking about, meh.... I don't care. But if I start seeing objects being teleported through force skype... ugh.... really ?
  3. So where's the improvement to burst healing ? They said they knew OP heals are lacking in that regard and these changes do nothing at best , probably they make it worse. Infusion, with an utility, can already be a instant heal. It has been like that for a while and that did nothing to improve burst healing of this class. Not only this is worthless change, but there will be less TAs, so less Surgical Probes so less refreshing Kolto probes with them, and surgical probes will do less healing as well. Surgical Probe is the only instant heal (that is not HoT) the class has and it's weak already... It'll be weaker soon... "relatively improving its burst-healing capabilities" my *** I guess they don't know how to make it better or don't care. Probably both. I'm done.
  4. What ? When, in this game, open pvp was healthy and vibrant ? Back in february 2012 with the Illum exploit ? After that, only during the few weeks every now and then of the Gree event something sort of happpend, but mainly due to the influx of unwilling participants for open world pvp.
  5. Do you really think it takes a Darth to wish for Arcann's death ? The guy is a mass murderer, he slaughtered billions. He tortured and executed who knows how many. I was about to say ask any of the family of those he killed how merciful they feel about him, but I doubt he left anyone alive.
  6. Yes, they do sell, quite reliably. More so than implants for example.
  7. But the credit sink to train the skill is a one time thing. This change actually makes losing a credit sink. Less sales on the GTN, which always remove credits. Less diplomacy missions needed, less materials needed, etc. All those are nice way to constantly remove credits from the economy. The more people swap to Biochem for this, the bigger this negative impact will be. And adrenals and medpacks are good way to make credits without being involved in any way in end game gearing. Those who don't want to participate in CXP grind in any way can make credits with Biochem. This change will certainly hurt this Pitty they changed their minds about the reusable. And this time is worse, because the reusable have the same stats as the non reusables. They used to provide lower stats.

  9. So if you never did Iokath story line you can sucessfully queue for MM but if you did do Iokath but still haven't done the solo version of Umbara you can't queue for MM ? Failed design or failed testing... Can you drop the solo version or is considered main story / class quest and "have" to do it ?

  12. At this point, kind of expecting a massive nerf. Their silence is just them not wanting our feedback about it no more than they have to.

  14. Nerf CXP gains, great idea If they nerf Hammer Station, something else will be the best thing and that something else will be what grinders will farm for CXP. Then what ? Another cry for CXP nerf ? This crap system is what encourages this kind of thing. The problem is not Hammer Station
  15. @PrometheanDeath Setting aside what Operatives healers are meant to be, the bottom line is that their biggest strength (aoe and sustained healing ) while nice is not that relevent in current content. Groups in PvE don't die due to low group healing. They die to spike damage, on tanks or whoever. Both sorc and merc have enough AoE output to properly keep the group up with little trouble. Similar thing for PvP. Players die to high burst damage, not aoe damage or anything like that. In current content, operatives biggest strength is nice but it's overkill, so ultimately "meh". Their weakness, not so "meh". Like you said, you can double sorc or double merc whatever you want and is totally fine. Double operative ? hmm....
  16. Every master fp run can be around 13k, 14k cxp per With a guildie we can do Red Reaper in like 8, 9 minutes with stealth classes, depending how lucky/unlucky we are with root adds in last boss. Those are 3 bosses and not a single trash kill and that's a rather small instance. I don't know how you can do Athiss/Hammer station with non stealthers in around the same time...
  17. It happens on imp side as well. What this crappy gearing system encourages is ppl queing for pvp when they have no interest whatsoever in pvp. So you get afkers and totally clueless players who don't give a ****. Does little to actually promote PvP. Warzones infested with players who don't want to be there is not a good thing for pvp. At first, I thought "what a crappy decision not buffing the UC rewards for regs, only for ranked". Well, maybe it's a good thing for regs (and a complete disaster for ranked) in terms of who queue. Maybe the afkers and UC farmers will choose ranked and, perhaps, not queue for regs. Yeah, totally biased and selfish since I don't play ranked at all. I'm wondering what they will do for gearing 6.0. They've been trying so hard to salvage this system since they released it that ditching it for good the next expansion will look too much of an admision they screwed up. Not sure they are ready for that. Going back to what it was in 4.0 for pvp gearing (with expertise coming back as well) is ideal imo. But I doubt it'll happen.

  19. First, more matchmaking. If for whatever reason one team ends up with 3, 4 healers then we get these kind of threads. "Healing is out of control" and stuff like that. What kind of nerf for healing classed would be necessary in order to make 3, 4 healers weak enough so players still die easily ? That would be nuts. "Out of control" ? Improve matchmaking until you get it right, not just nerfing the role hoping for the best.
  20. Reverse engineering crystals from ops drops and crystals extracted from weapons that were from end gearing vendors was intended. What was kinda fishy and brought complaints was the fact one could reverse engineer other people's crafted crystals. Because of the way it was done it was argued it wasn't intended. I don't know if it was an exploit or not but it was certainly not kosher, lol But that doesn't matter anymore. If the artifice trainer doesn't have the schmatic you can't get it from anywhere else. Schematics for black red, black purple, black blue, magenta, cyan (?) are some of the colors that were attainable before the changes. My artifice have most of them I can still craft them.

  23. Were those weapons RE'able ? Sure the outfits were. But I don't recall the weapons being like that was well. Anyways, have you checked the GC light side / dark side vendors ? They have some of those sets. They have weapons as well, though I can't really say are the Dread Forged models ( with a different color )
