  1. Bumping this after seeing it was more recently bumped and has a Dev response. Still an issue 1/13/2020. I remember when the swatches were bugged, but BW this is almost 3 years since this has been reported!
  2. Bumping this thread, this is still an issue as of 1/13/2020.

So is Warding still bugged with sage/sorc shields? If so, would best relics be A/M then? That's what I'm gathering from the data I see.
  4. I was afraid of that. Thanks for the help though!
  5. Title. I'm looking to find the chest piece of the requisitioned bulwark/pummeler https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/requisitioned-pummelers-mk-3-pub/ seen here to finish out my Master Orgus tribute outfit. I just ran Veteran Esseles on my level 70 and no gear dropped or was granted from the mission finishing. How would I be able to farm this?
  6. I'm on the hunt for the requisitioned Pummeler/Bulwark set, specifically the chest piece. https://torf.mmo-fashion.com/requisitioned-bulwarks-mk-3/ It says source: Veteran FPs level 7. Does this mean running Black Talon veteran, or running flashpoints with a level 7 character? Any insight would be great. Is there any way to farm this as a level 70 or do I have to get lucky running it on a low level character? Edit: Just ran veteran esseles on my main and no loot dropped at all with no box at the end mission.
  7. Thanks for the swift reply (on both threads!) Sounds like you guys might be right up my alley. Do your groups delve into HM OPS at all, or is it mainly story mode for the experience?
  8. Couple questions for you. I'm looking for a medium-large sized guild (I see you have an Imp analogue which is a plus) that is active in FPs/Ops/PvP/GSF whether scheduled or spontaneous, and groups up for dailies and other activities on their off time. I saw you guys won a conquest recently (congrats!) and it sounds like something I'd love to be a part of. I'll check for replies here but you can also hit me up in game, pub side: Nylos
  9. Hey guys, I just came back to the game and after powering through KotET I'm looking to find a casual, social group of people to spend time with. I'm a long-time vet of the game, and unfortunately my old guild has become very inactive so I'd like to get into a medium to large sized group of people. I'm mainly interested in group content like FP/Ops or chilling in voice chat knocking out dailies/conquest, but I also love PvP and would like to get into GSF finally as well. I'd like to emphasize the medium-large size preference, as I think the larger the group the more opportunities for awesome times and spontaneous group activities. A huge plus is having an IMP analogue guild for alts Hit me up here or in game, IGN: Nylos
  10. I've completed Chapter VII twice now and did not receive Scorpio as a companion my first or second time through. From what I've seen this is a bug that has been around for awhile and no one knows how to trigger it or fix it. I have a ticket in about it as well but I'd like this resolved because I can't use the terminal to recover her either.
  11. Great video! I've played a Guardian tank since release, however I've never gotten really big into PvP. My buddy and I are planning to try to get into it a bit more, but I'm torn before following with what you're doing - going with a full tank set-up - or trying my hand at a Shank build. I've seen the back and forth between people about how Shank build are kind of cheesy, but the idea intrigues me a bit. In your opinion would I still be viable in unrated WZs and ranked soloqueues as a pure tank versus a Shank? How big of a disadvantage will I be in, say, 1v1 as a pure tank; will I just outlive people or not be able to do enough damage to kill? Also, what two Relics are you using? Thanks.
  12. We came from Prophecy of the Five. After following several Reddit threads and seeing 32 people in one instance (Republic and Empire) waiting for the switch to pull on the 4th compared to the several hundred on other servers we decided to finally pull the trigger on it after several months of deliberation. Generally we've always played on PvP servers, however seeing the state of world PvP on Pot5 diminish to 5-man gank squads on Yavin we decided to change it up.
  13. Hello Ebon Hawk! I represent a group of several experienced players looking for a new home. We've played together for quite awhile now and are looking to settle down on TEH after quite a bit of research. We all have extensive PvE and PvP experience in a number of different games and are looking for a guild that caters to all forms of play. A large, active, community based guild will be right up our alley. We're mainly looking for a Republic guild, preferably one that has Imperial alts. Unfortunately due to real life we aren't able to commit to schedules, and are looking for a guild that does alt/pickup runs on off days that are first-come/first-serve or open to anyone who wants to join at the time. We're not looking for hardcore progression, but a fun environment to continue doing something we love. This goes for PvP, FPs, GSF, and Conquest as well. We're not opposed to attending scheduled events when we can, but we can't commit to a weekly schedule. Also - this will probably knock some if not many guilds out of our view - but we don't want to have to do a long and involved application process. We're all MMO vets and have filled out more than our fair share of applications. We'll come into voicechat and hang out there, we'll even answer any questions you guys have. We've all retired to a more laid-back, "casual," playstyle and in our experiences joining forums and filling out 5 page long applications on why we like x over y is tedious and doesn't do anyone any good. I was a recruitment officer for several guilds over my gaming career and have learned much, much more through playing and talking with people than I ever have through an application. Feel free to reply to this post with the best way to contact you and I'll open a channel and get the ball rolling.
  14. I recently came back to the game and am trying to find a good home. I re-rolled but when I played him I was a pretty solid Guardian Tank. Your guild sounds like something I could get behind in terms of your values/gaming outlooks. I'm a firefighter and I work a 24/48 schedule, if I were to raid would I need 100% attendance or would I be able to miss (sometimes) one a week? Edit: I just applied on your site. I explained my schedule in the application. Be advised, my new guardian is still only 47 and will need to finish leveling/gearing.
  15. Still need some tanks, heals, and ranged DPS. Also, 40k on any tank is absolutely terrible. Mitigation is king in this game, and any tank with that much health has terrible mitigation.
  16. So am I to assume the AMR links are more or less BIS lists in terms of optimal mitigation? 32.7k HP just seems unsettling-ly low for Guardians. Moving to fully optimize per the AMR I'd be losing around 5k HP. Does the extra mitigation really make up for that? Also, exactly how am I supposed to read your relic rankings?
  17. Gonna mess some peeps up tonight. Join up and get carried.
  18. <Tactical Wookie Assault Team> is based on the founding principles of multiple sects of the faith and we welcome all our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Whisper Eversio for more information in game!
  19. Thanks. I assumed so, I just wish they didn't throw it on the tank gear. /sigh BW...
  20. Any math done as to how Alacrity factors in? I've noticed a lot of the available gear has quite a bit of Alacrity (and on an unrelated note not a lot of defense) and I wanted to get an idea of how many extra pieces I'll need to farm to drop the Alacrity.
  21. Aren't the set bonuses tied to the armoring of the piece, so if you put it into something else doesn't the set bonus transfer as well? I was under the impression that was how they implemented it.
  22. There is absolutely no Rage-generation difference between Charge -> Battering Assault and Charge -> Massacre -> Battering Assault (which is what I have written). Putting a Massacre before the Battering Assault let's BA get the benefit of said Massacre Buff. Also, afaik Payback is only usable when you have a CC effect on you. Times when this is the case are few and far between. For the record, I am not actively playing anymore and I'm not going to be re-subbing and as such I will not be updating this guide. The game, for me, has gotten very stale and 1.2 being pushed back even farther isn't helping its case. From what I've seen so far in 1.2 they're not doing anything to address player retention: adding Legacy abilities only usable with a companion and only adding one new Operation that will be cleared in a day and a half is not something that looks promising in the least to me. PvP for me is boring and generally one-sided and BioWare's apparent lack of testing ability makes me extremely disappointed. There's a reason we don't have a combat log guys: they don't want us to know half of our abilities are broken. I just want to thank everyone for their insight and overall appreciation for my guide. I couldn't begin to tell you about all the PMs - both in and out of game - expressing satisfaction and gratitude and people asking permission to share this guide with their guild/friends and even translate it. If anyone thinks they're up to the task of continuing this project with a new thread please let me know. All I ask is there be an "originally posted by" line somewhere in it. Thank you again, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels in a galaxy far, far away.
  23. In all honesty I found it quite difficult to read; its organization, imo, was a bit off but it does get through all the important points. It doesn't look like it was updated with the current Crit/Surge caps though. In order to improve our gear it involves a lot of grinding - whether PvE or PvP content - in order to get access to better enhancements and overall better gear. To be quite honest I'm finding it hard to log into the game much at all and most of my focus is currently on my schoolwork. End-game gearing is tiresome and stupid, involving farming Columi commendations for Agent gear to get the Power/Surge enhancement. The Columi Weaponmaster Implants - off the top of my head - are best in slot due to the possibility of the Augment slot. As far as trinkets go, I run with the Matrix Cube and the Rakata-level Internal Damage proc Relic from NMFabricator Droid. Other than that, the only thing you need to worry about with gearing is the Crit/Surge/Accuracy caps. I don't feel a "best in slot" list is really necessary and I'm not going to be the one to produce one. If you open up your character page and don't touch anything your Accuracy should - ideally - read no more than 98%. You get a base 100% chance to hit with Special Attacks and a base 90% chance to hit with your Basic Attack (Assault). You want your Special Accuracy at 108%; I don't think I could've stressed that enough in the guide. I will admit the way they have it set up is confusing but making sure you're looking at the right numbers is important.
