I was being very basic. I'm sure they would all need varying: quests completed, achievements acquired, gear sets, matching names, valor levels, etc etc.

Most people don't understand this logic. Even with heavy populated non-super servers the single server LFG will be useful.

they aren't doing a server merger so I'm not sure why they would bother testing that. pretty easy tho. build 2 servers, have 20 developers create multiple toons. Insta level them to differing legacies and levels. Then merge. booyah

I would imagine that 1.3 will be on the verge or implemented by the end of June. Transfers will come before that.

Maybe not a "mass exodus" but it does effect people. Next thing you know random bloggers roll in here, see all the filth and then write a blog about it. Then the gaming sites, etc etc etc. Morale is low here on the forums.

99% of the threads should be ignored. I don't want all the cryers changing the game to SWG or WoW or some other crap game.

Doesn't matter. They'll add in transfers, the dead server cries will go away, and then they'll move to the "next big thing to gripe about" The forum mods are way too lenient here.

I haven't seen populations like that in WoW since BC. X-Server masks the pop issues really well.

You should go check out the Blizzard WoW forums if you think Bioware has silenced you in some way. ALL negative posts on Blizzforums are almost immediately closed and, more often than not, completely deleted. It's almost as if they have a forum algorithm that runs and if it sees too many of the same words or phrases just auto deletes the posts. Here they leave these long ridiculous threads going for way too long, funnel all the multi-posters to the same thread and let you all sit and spew and spew and spew. Luckily there's an ignore function of the forums

I'm not sure why everyone just assumes that, since they don't see people on their server anymore, that they have quit? They could've rerolled to a more popular populated server. I don't expect people to quit their fun game because of a pop drop. They'd more than likely go feel out a server they plan to move to.

There are some real rabid people out there disappointed with the whole DRM aspect of D3 and I bet if they could return the game they would.

Still have a month until transfers. So nothing is going to happen overnight. Unless they surprise everyone with transfers next week as well as 1.3 on the test server. It could happen. You just never know.
