I'm very confused by this thread. It's obviously a direct statement. "Why no one does group bonus". I was thinking for sure you were going to lay down some knowledge as to why groups don't do group bonuses. Instead it's followed by a question. Why is that??

I have always thought GRINDING had to do with killing the same mobs over and over to get to an end result. I used to grind consortium rep in WoW by killing those purple guys. I had to grind out the last 2 levels of Aion because there were no quests left for me to do. Not too many games require you to actually grind anything. I don't consider mini quests and dailies a grind. I consider it just a part of a MMO. You run dungeons to get the gear. You run warzones to get valor and gear. You run dailies to get tokens for gear. etc etc.

I haven't consumed all the 1.3 content yet. Or even the 1.2 content. I want a world event though. Before 1.4

I thought this only happened to me. I've had an infraction in every month (several in some months) since the game released. Mostly I was giving tough love to the seething minority of haters. It's not like I told them I was coming to their house to beat them up or anything. This is a PUBLIC forum that EVERYONE can see. Wouldn't it make more sense for them to keep it tidy of all the blind baseless hate from people? Blizzard at least does that right. It almost seems like Bliz has an auto-delete on their forums if you put too many of certain keywords together in a paragraph.

If they added just a few BIG things it would change the face of the game. Open world pvp objectives. Put the WAR back into STARWARS. Let the players build up player bases that could even function as a fleet hub. Give the opposing faction the ability to lay siege to it and knock it down (or take it). However, to do this properly they would have to limit how many people on each side that could be in the zone. Force 100 vs 100 or 200 vs 200. Semi-limited space. Give people the ability to fly around. Maybe add in a mini game or possibly another crafting/gathering profession to coincide with it. Give players the ability to visit battleships (if they can find them) and do quests there. Maybe even add a few noninhabited planets with resources you can't find anywhere else. They really could do just about anything and win. Add 2 new classes and 2 new races. Add a social class like Musician, and a combat class like some sort of demolitions guy or combat musician (like a bard). I want to be able to play the blue guys that look like elephants. Make it so! Then the normal stuff they always add. a few operations, flashpoints, hard modes, world bosses, etc.

I liked where he said he heard (or herd) it ALOT! but wants us to tell him where to find the stuff he apparently already heard about.

Not sure, You should go ask the 3m people still playing WoW why they still do the same quests with no updates to them in the last year. At least there are new dailies being added every once in a while over here.

I think I'll log in and finally do some FPs tonight. I haven't even done any except the low level FPs. So, I'm a brand newbie. Is pvp recruit gear good enough to do reg FPs?

I wouldn't mind a powerful pve faction to fight against. Like Aion had. That was good times and great pvp. You'd have to limit the amount of people able to go into certain areas though. 200 vs 200 vs 200 would destroy the server.

Not so sure they ever claimed it would be a solo game. There is plenty to keep a soloer busy tho. I'm primarily a soloer because I'm super casual at the moment. I have plenty to do. But a more aggressive player would run out of stuff eventually. I'm sure a patch down the line will implement new story possibly? They do have you going up another 5 levels in the future.

I don't know the Star Wars lore enough. Who would even make for a 3rd faction? What other conflict? Ewoks vs Republic vs Empire?

I thought they only turned red when you fought near them. What do you get when you click on the items?
