  1. Have 4 days left on my subscription and I am calling it quits. I had a lot of fun with my first character a Jedi Sage. Tython was a great starter planet and I had a lot of fun there and the temple really made me feel like I was part of the jedi. As the game went on, I had fun on each planet and doing the main class story mission. The side quests were..ok..but most were not very interesting. I didnt feel the "grind" aspect until Hoth, then it just became a race for 50, especially since 80% of the people on my server left by then. I know most mmos have "grind" but liked how it didnt take me awhile to feel it. I thought pvp was good for awhile, then it got dull after playing the same 3 maps over and over. I was excited for the 4th map, but after 50+ games on it...was kind of like been there done that. FP were fun leveling up too and I enjoyed finding a group to play those with. My 2nd and 3rd characters I never reached 50 with. By then the "exploring" factor was gone because I played each one before and grind started to set it early. That is pretty much it, I had fun with the game while the fun lasted, but for me this isnt a long term game.
  2. Just wait till you start doing quests, most of it is in the slums or sewer areas.
  3. I was a bit sad that no new content was added either in 1.3. I know bug fixes are great and all, but why a big announcement for them? I feel like we are paying each month for stuff that should have been fixed before launch. People are getting excited for a group finder, character transfers, ranked WZ, etc.... All that stuff is good, but I would be a lot more excited to see, more worlds to explore, extended class stories, new 30+ raid zones, etc.
  4. Dont think so, but soon the game will be F2P up till level 15 though.
  5. No problem, thought about doing the same with my friends. Seems like a great deal on a new game.
  6. If anyone is thinking of picking the game up still, it is at a great price of $19.99 http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Star+Wars%3A+The+Old+Republic+-+Windows/3031171.p?id=1218373620959&skuId=3031171&st=swtor&lp=1&cp=1
  7. The first idea reminds me GW1 where when a team wins Hall of heroes it is casted server wide. Also it would be nice to actually get and lose something in open world pvp. Like the other person can steal one item off you or something, that would make the game intense but a lot of fun.
  8. This has probably been mentioned before, but space exploration would be so fun. It doesnt even have to be that complicated, something even like X-Wing vs Tie Fighter style would be great.
  9. I was about to re-sub, but after reading this thread it has changed my mind. Main thing for me is the end game is sooooo boring. The story is good the first time around, but the second run through is so grindy. Same quests except the main one, same planets, same layout on most planets. Where are the huge 30+ end game raids? Where are the huge worlds to explore and discover new things? Where is the space to explore?
  10. I dont know if it will ever recover. The main problem I heard from all my friends and guildmates leaving the game was, "it is too much like wow" or "game got boring once you hit 50"
  11. 66k logins on average a day? That cant be a 1.3 Million subs still can it?
  12. You mean, is the game still a rail game in almost every way? Then yes.
  13. Yeah, I want a Star Wars universe that I can explore and find new things. Even if the planets were mostly empty but had some gems to find along the way. Every planet to me feels the same in the layout(ie, 4 weak enemy group, followed by a silver and weak, followed by 4 weak, then followed by a roaming silver, then a gold standing in a corner a lone, then 4 weak again...)
