What I don't get is why they are doing waves in the morning. Everyone is at work so how could they possibly be able to test their server loads? It's like wanting to check how well the ratings are going to be for a TV show by airing it at midnight on a weekday.

I wonder how the band "The Decemberists" like the fact that you guys are giving their band name new meaning?

Honestly I don't have time to play for a few days anyway, but I think Bioware made a great gesture letting people in 2 days early. But by being so vague and slow about letting everyone else in lowers their grade quite a bit. Now if they had said that EVERYONE would be in by the 15th midnight then people would shutup and be happy about it. The not knowing is what kills people.

You mean there ARE problems with early access. It ain't over yet!

I didn't order from Wal Mart last night because the order page said they were going to MAIL me a pre order code and mail me the game on the 20th. Everyone in the world knows that's a bad business transaction so I broke down and ordered from Origin. I hope Wal Mart comes through for everyone, but their employees are very misinformed and who knows if that's just their superiors failing them or a lack of care for video games in general.

I just bought the game today and it clearly states "EARLY GAME ACCESS" as a part of my preorder. But maybe I'm dumb and need someone to spell it out for me True, I didn't pay EXTRA for early game access. But, I DID pay for early game access by preordering.

What gives you any reason to think otherwise? Aren't they halfway through November's pre orders already?

well I bought my pre order this morning and I still expect to be playing after work tomorrow. In the history of MMOs have you ever heard of staggering invites? Is Bioware ballsy enough to be the first? They are an unproven MMO company and right now they are making quite a few people unhappy. Whether people read the text or not, every MMO has early access for preorders and it's expected to be able to get into the game early. Typically 5 days early.

pre orders get early access. Expect to be playing sometime tomorrow.
