  1. Actually... this is kind of an interesting idea. I'm not sure exactly how feasible it is, but it's an interesting idea nonetheless. It'd be rather fun as well. If it's possible I'm all for it. Anything to make leveling alts a bit easier and more enjoyable.
  2. 1.2 is sounding promising but before I get my hopes up too high I want to know exactly what's coming, not just a video preview of a few features and how they may or may not actually work. I want to see a complete (or at least mostly complete) list of what's being added in 1.2 and how everything works.
  3. I would love to see alt characters get a double or even triple experience point bonus (only combat level experience, not legacy experience) once the player has at least one level 50 character. At least for me that would make leveling an alt so much more enjoyable. It would even allow us to skip some of the general non-class story quests if we wanted, and still not really have our leveling affected too much.
  4. Huh, interesting. That may be my next stop then. Though I wonder if there are different versions of this item? Because you say it's level 38, and on some of the wikis it says the same, but in the picture AstarielleUK posted it shows that it's a level 43 requirement . Hmm... Either way, I haven't found one yet. I've been checking the GTN almost daily, and I've been killing ever 40+ silvery baddy on Hoth I can find. So far I've got nothin'.
  5. I'd love to see this. Perhaps there could even be an "action" button where your character fires the weapon so you can hear what it sounds like, too? I'd also love to see some improvements to the preview screen. Mainly, being able to zoom in and out.
  6. I'm not sure how feasible it is, but I agree that this would be something neat to have in the game. I'm all for it. Perhaps you'd even get all of the response options, but they wouldn't give you any light or dark points, or companion relationship changes, just so you can play around with other responses to see what would have happened. They could be replayed by interacting with the terminal in your ship, perhaps?
  7. There are two main things I'd really like to see... 1. Special character appearance customization options for existing and new characters (and, of course, the ability to redesign our character's appearance). 2. Double or triple combat experience points for alternate characters to make leveling an alt a bit more appealing. Though this should only be possible once the player has one character that reaches level 50. I suppose this may not necessarily be a legacy feature...
  8. I really hope that there is an update to the CE and VIP vendors, that's for sure. Bioware said they would add new things to the vendors, and yet the vendors have been completely ignored. There hasn't been one new item put on them, the Republic dancer's outfit is bugged and doesn't even display correctly, and now they're actually removing an item-- the 1.5 million speeder-- at least as far as I understand. I understand that Bioware has "bigger things" to worry about, but come on, how hard can it be to toss up a few things onto the vendors? Hell, I'd even be happy with armor and weapons that used the same models that are in the game already but have very unique skins. It can't be that hard or take all that long to toss a few items up onto the vendors for those of us who bought the DD or especially the CE.
  9. I like the idea of some of these changes I must admit. Though I'm curious as to why some speeders are being removed. Was something wrong with them? I'll have to try to find them. Where are the Sovereign, Prince, Baron and Commander vehicles sold? The names doesn't sound familiar. 'Course, I don't often pay attention to the name of a speeder...
  10. I saw these advertised on StarWars.com about a week ago. They are neat, though I hope some other bits of clothing become available. I'd love a cap (something different than a baseball cap). And how about some keychains? I do love my keychains.
  11. I keep checking whenever I can. I really should just get one of my alts to level ten so they can get to the station and I can leave them there to check when I don't feel like doing all of the traveling. Heh.
  12. I need to get some decent pictures of my various outfits and then I'll post them. I've been meaning to get some decent ones and then edit the background and stuff.
  13. Alrighty. Guess I'll keep killing everything in sight. Heh.
  14. I do hope that Bioware adds in the option to be able to turn the color matching off for those who don't want it. Or, even better, have a few options for each item. A toggle for boots, headgear, gloves, and so on, that way we can match what we want and "turn off" what we don't want to match. Though I would prefer to just be able to recolor things to my liking, but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon-- if ever.
  15. How could you sit on it when you don't know where the seat is?
  16. I've got a question (again) about the RD-07A helmet. Is it a random drop from enemies scattered around Hoth and Voss in the open, or the tougher enemies in the heroic zones of the map? Or is this a reward from a class story quest? I've been checking the GTN regularly and have yet to find the helmet (though I've seen pretty much every other Viper item on there). And so far I haven't looted one on Hoth.
  17. This would be great for general chat as well. I'm all for it.
  18. I've been in support of this from the get-go. It's unfortunate that Bioware seems to continually ignore this topic, even during the beta. They don't even bother to comment at all...
  19. Wait... We can't add friends if they're offline? Did this change or something? I've added people to my friend list even if they were offline. Granted that was a month or so ago so maybe something was broken since then... But I do know I've added people who weren't online... Though I do sometimes get the "doesn't exist" message when I try to add people. One of my friend's alts, for example, every time I try to add the character to my list the "doesn't exist" message pops up.
  20. I have to agree with the OP's suggestions. Space (and ships) really need some love. Another thing I'd like to see added to ships, which kind of goes along with the furnishing aspect of it, is let us buy "pets" that only appear on the ship. For example, an Astromech droid that simply wanders around our ship. It wouldn't be a companion or anything, just a little droid that moves around the ship, perhaps randomly. It would just be there for cosmetic purposes. I'd really like to get things moving in my ship. Also, I'd like to be able to purchase starfighters. I think it would be fun to be able to have a starfigther or two to use in space missions, not always my freighter.
  21. Y'know, back before this game launched we used to get updates every Friday. Now we're lucky if we get an update once a month. I really miss those Friday updates... Anyhow, back to the main topic, some information regarding the legacy system would be great. I hate this feeling of being told that there's going to be an update to it but having almost no clue at all as to what that update will entail. I've got this lingering feeling of dread that I can't shake because of this silence. Will the updates be interesting or will they be stupid and boring? Will they be useful or pointless? Will it make the game more fun or will the entire legacy update just be a big flop? It wouldn't hurt for them to give us some information. This constant silence is really unnerving. And it's not just the silence regarding the legacy system, it's the silence regarding almost everything... We're supposed to be getting this update in March. Well, it's almost March. I think it's about time we got some information on it. This silence and lack of update is making me wonder if the update will really come in March at all or if it's been pushed back. I'm nearly 50 on my main character, probably will be in a couple weeks tops, and after that I'd like to start leveling one of my alts. But I'm really hesitant to do so until I know more about the legacy. I'm worried that if I start leveling one of my alts the legacy will introduce something neat that I wish I would have had on that alt. One thing I'm hoping we'll see in the legacy is an experience multiplier for alternate characters to make leveling them a bit easier and a bit more appealing. I'd love to see something like once you have a character that reaches level 50 all of your alts get a double or triple combat experience bonus from killing NPCs, completing quests, and so on. That would be awesome...
  22. Honestly, I think there were simply too many servers to begin with. Even with an extremely successful launch there seemed to be an absurd amount of servers. Maybe I'm wrong, but there simply seemed to be too many. I do agree that a merge would be great. Shrink down the servers to around half of how many there are now, and for the RP servers, I think there only needs to be one for each time zone. If things get really crowded another server can always be opened up again later. But I have to agree with Sjattuh, a server merge probably wont be happening for a while now. It's unfortunate but I can't see it happening for at least another six months.
  23. For a long time I've wondered why your companion isn't simply mounted on a copy of the speeder your player mounts up onto and they could follow along behind you, or for the higher-level speeders that look like they have two seats, why your companion just doesn't sit next to you in the passenger seat. That would be awesome. Bioware could even add in more two-seat speeders. 'Course, I've also wondered why our characters actually drive a taxi themselves rather than having a droid operate the taxi speeder and our character sits in a passenger seat. But I suppose that's for another topic...
  24. While I wasn't necessarily disappointed with the CE items themselves (the statue, in-game droid, dancer, and so on) I was extremely disappointed wit the CE, VIP and security key vendors. All three have next to nothing worth purchasing and nothing that looks all that unique. Not to mention that these were supposed to get regular updates with new items... Where are the updates for these vendors? Where are the new items? That claim seems to have fallen away pretty quickly. The vendors are pretty much the only things I was disappointed with. The other items, like the dancer, droid pet and so on, while they aren't all that interesting, they were about what I was expecting so I wasn't all that disappointed with those.
  25. The last thing I want to see are Jawas, Ewoks and Yoda's Species running around all over the place. Jawas and Ewoks wouldn't make much sense anyway, and Yoda's Species would never happen. While I wouldn't necessarily mind seeing some shorter species available to players, they need to make sense. Ugnaught and Lannik are about the only species that comes to my mind.
