  1. A lot of people point to a lack of content over why they're leaving at this time. The lack of UI improvements is a bigger reason for myself personally. My sub expired Saturday. I don't know why I can still post.
  2. I've gotten every datacron on two separate characters, including the +10. It can be very taxing at times. There were moments when I had to walk away from my PC for fear I'd put my fist through my screen. You can't improve on the engine, but you can definitely improve the terrain that you need to cross to get to them. Make them slightly more forgiving, especially the ones that seem to be more difficult to get to. It's been suggested countless times that the stat gains from datacrons should be account wide, not character specific. You'd only needed to track them down once. Those who enjoy finding them on alts could receive a nice chunk of XP and creds for finding them more than once. I'm actually surprised that modern MMO's still treat their customers as a set of individual characters, rather than individual accounts. A lesson for future game makers to consider.
  3. You could start by making the $20 vehicle we paid for last for longer than 10 - 20 levels. I never use it, being the slowest type speeder. Seriously...how in world did you overlook the fact that the Digital/Collectors vehicle only comes in the slowest vehicle speed? Also, please change the duration on the holo dancer to match the cooldown. Honestly, you guys dropped the ball big time on the extras provided to the Digital/Collector's items. Bioware Austin, you guys need to stop being so terrible.
  4. The spin job they gave us in the Q&A about this issue basically translates into 'We are horrible at itemizing this game. We also don't play our own game. If we did, we would've had a clue.'
  5. I watch the cutscenes. I enjoy watching them, and they're the only reason this game is different from other MMOs. I don't necessarily watch them EVERY time, but I would never be rude in asking someone to skip them. So put me on ignore. I encourage it. I'd rather not waste my time on people who insist on skipping all the fun, and your queues will get slightly longer since I almost exclusively heal in the group finder.
  6. Calling Mr. Gonzalez...please don't tell me he was a layoff casualty.
  7. I just hate the fact that the technology between the Old Republic and the New Republic is so close. It's almost as if there were NO technological advancements in the 4000 years in between. It forever gives me the impression that the whole 'Old Republic' franchise isn't really part of the 'real' Star Wars universe.
  8. So to sum this whole thread up: Waaaa, they won't implement what I want! Waaaa!! Anyone who disagrees with me is homophobic, Waaaaa!!!
  9. Schedule me for an appointment with the Dragon Age team, I'd rather save my best ideas for the inevitable DA3. Also, if you could have one of the interns run out and get me some black coffee and a breakfast sandwich before we begin, that would be super. Thanks!
  10. In a word, layoffs. Lots of the content they 'wanted to add' will probably be pushed aside now as whatever is left of the dev team have to prioritize what they work on. In the grand scheme of things, this is only important to a minority of the playerbase.
  11. I just want to let you guys know that I work for the CIA. I have bugs planted all over their offices in Austin. What the OP said is true. Trust me!!!
  12. If their goal is to get me to go back to WoW, they're succeeding.
  13. I don't think the few people that want to stay on their origin servers are going to change Bioware's mind on the issue. You need to get used to the fact or move onto another game.
  14. Games on an upward trend don't layoff their devs. http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/07/17/swtor-executive-producer-leaves-bioware-new-layoffs-rumored/ /thread
