  1. Would you buy a new car without cruise control, side curtain airbags, air con, traction control, Bluetooth, power steering etc etc ? Consumer expectation is set by the industry standard.
  2. The new legacy armour is a very nice addition to the game but unlike WoW's Heirloom Items it does not scale to level which means you have to pay an increasing cost to remove/purchase or craft new mods to keep it on par with current level. This is fine, as is the initial purchase price of just offer 1 Million credits (for lv20 legacy set). However, with the introduction of other customisable crafted sets you can purchase much cheaper sets that come with augment slots. In an effort to keep this armour a nice novelty and reward for reaching level 20 legacy I would suggest that purchase price remains the same but add an augment slot to the items to allow them to be a practical set of armour.
  3. 1. Server/legacy transfers 2. PvP premades/ranked warzones 3. Ability to select a warzone to queue into or extra rewards for queuing random 4. More stable latency in warzones (no more teleporting ball carriers and no it's not on my end lol CS) 5. A open world pvp zone that people actually go to with descent rewards as incentives This would be a start. I won't be back until some of this happens. I actually love the game but always seem to run into a bug/glitch or bad dev descission whenever I start to enjoy it. I have played since beta so have seen 95% of content up until 1.2; which looks to be heading in the right direction but still a long way of what mainstream progression MMO players* are used to (in design/features and content). Hopefully it all comes together in the long run. * I generalize myself as a mainstream progression MMO player, not my opinion as the views of the mainstream.
  4. Stop with the nerf threads already......
  5. Bad class..... Lol. Here in lies the problem. Doesn't matter what the fotm is there are still going to be bad players in games. Good thing we can can do full premade rated warzones now..... Oh wait, guess there will always be bad devs in games to.
  6. The lack of understanding from Bioware has been evident from the beginning. They obviously do not play there own game.
  7. so a level 14 weapon... that doesn't scale with level..... epic idea
  8. Star Wars the US Republic..... GG slap that monkey running the company for me please
  9. What's the use of having a 400 crafter if you cannot access materials that only drop in level 50 content? The free game time is simple ploy to get people to resubscribe. If you are enjoying the leveling process so much and have not cancelled your sub yet then this marketing is not aimed at you. They are only doing it to get the numbers back up after hyping 1.2 up so much and then delivering another blob of badly coded goo they call features and content. The 30 free days will be used up in server downtime as they try and patch the patch that was supposed to be so über just so it will work. So if you didn't get it I would be pissed because you will continue to pay for bad design pluss limited play time due to extensive downtime. It's funny cause I unsubbed a month ago and still qualified for 30 free days lolol.
  10. It takes months... even years to master the face roll technique. Just ask the people who created this game... They will get it right sooner or later... maybe.
  11. Yeah massive difference. Other companies set industry and genre standards. The thing is, Bioware have not delivered anything at all that the players want other then features that are currently standard in other games for the same subscription fee. If you feel great about paying for a game that is years behind the industry/genre standard then that's great. But honestly you can get better value games with less bugs from the app store for $0.99
  12. Lol... You do realize that EA has the honor of being 'The worst company in America 2012'. If you like giving good money away for a sub-standard game feel free to. Don't get upset with others who choose not to like shoddy design, features, and content (or lack of). Your anti-rage post smacks of irony. The title of the thread indicates that this is the place to voice opinions and feelings related to the topic lol. Do you actually work for EA or are you just another fanboi? Just because you like being treated like a last generation gamer doesn't mean other people have to like it. They pay the same as you to have their say.
  13. They released the entire game half done....... 1.2 is what the game should have been at launch if BW where perfectionists. Now 1.2 is half done and we are yet to see the mass amounts of bug reports when it goes live followed by days of downtime while they fix the new content. It is a real shame. I love Star Wars. I loved Warhammer also and I am getting a sickly feeling of dejavu. I am sad that EA and/or Bioware have this franchise to develop. When ranked warzones go live they now need be absolutely flawless as the comments from Bioware have allowed for nothing else other than perfection. That remains to be seen and I will resub if it is confirmed once they go live. People say that WoW sucked for a year before it got good blah blah. The industry standard has been set and Bioware expects us to pay the same sub fee for less features and content. It's a laughable situation, in what other gaming market are products compared to something that is 7 years old and considered to be of equal enjoyment and value for money.
  14. You have pve'd right? You do realize how god awful and broken the mechanics are.... I commend your resilience and constitution to have endured such a travesty of gaming and retain such a positive and optimistic attitude.
