  2. A lot of the people posting here seem to have regs or yolos in mind when talking about balancing pt/vg. Cap is right in that the game should be balanced around 4s, as the highest level of competitive PvP in the game. It also should be balanced around what upper echelon skilled players are capable of doing with a class, not your average shmoe. Basing class balance on the average player (or all dps yolos) gives very skilled players some pretty retarded capabilities in a trinity comp setting hence, the current state of vg/pt being the only comp to run in 4s and the only counter being a mirror comp. /2creds

  6. Not to mention 8s AOE mezz>>>>>>>>>>4s single tgt mezz which although on a 15s CD could never be used for hard swap. Plus ops 4s hard stun on 30s CD. And like u said mobility up the arse.

  8. Bottom line: we are less mobile now on a patch that was supposed to increase mobility across the boards. BIOWARE, CHANGE IT BACK. I don't care if u take away stride completely or give it a 1:00 CD. I feel like molasses.

Opened a thread with this post last night and just want to reinterate mostly from a PvP perspective: From a PvP perspective, shadow/sin mobility has been nerfed in an expansion that was supposed to increase movement/mobility for all classes (Merc/Mando also got the shaft too IMO). Pros/Cons Force speed: P: Can be used at any moment its off cooldown and you need to move @30m in 1.5-2s on level/graded ground. Breaks roots with easy to take masterful utility (very important for PvP). Doesn't require a target. Off GCD. Can be used to close gaps v classes that have leap immunity if on level ground. C: Cannot be used to get to a higher platform or across gaps. Not completely instant/travel time. Stride: P: Can be used to get to higher platforms and cross gaps up to 30m (in theory, although this is buggy as hell) if an enemy player is there. Completely instant. Off GCD. Procs 3s marginal speed increase on use. C: Situational. Cannot be used at will. Requires an enemy target. cannot be use to close gaps v snipers or merc/sorc with immunity. Need to take an additional utility for root break in heroic when 2/3 specs are very boxed in concerning utility choices for PvP, so nerf dmg or survivability to have mobility back to where it was pre 4.0. I could say more on this but I'm at work now on a phone. I main KC and I definitly feel I am less able to get around (or the same if enemies are positioned where and when I need them). And yes, it is less fun
  10. Maybe I just need to get used to the new 30s shadowstride ability but I feel gimped with 25s on force speed (With util). Also have bugged everytime I try to ss to someone on a higher or lower platform. Anybody else consider these changes a successful "mobility buff"? I mean, scouops got the same ability on a 45s cooldown (but can use on allies too). Did double roll CD get increased or is it still 10s? I haven't had time to check on mine. Speaking of PvP of course. Please tell your feels on me.
  11. Yeah you got me. I totally did a copy/paste jackjob. His was very well written. Didn't think anyone would care tbh (dead guild is dead). Chatted with vps already and taking it down. Was surprised it just got noticed by him, as I did a similar thing on JC months ago (Like I said, well written) and Poptart had seen it then.

  13. Not really. You can get 5 GCDs ahead of the the guy plus the 50% DR. The cycle goes sap>volatile>kolto probe>kolto probe>snipe into backstab. The target will take volatile, snipe and backstab all at once b4 popping a DCD. Additionally I believe reflect damage would also be mitigated by the 50% DR utility if the jug pops it as the damage source is still the jugg. Didnt any of yall watch Snave's 1v1 tourny on Hitbox?

    Voidstar broken?

    Can't load Voidstar. Freezes on loadscreen. Tried restarting computer, etc. This is on Harb. Others are experiencing this too. Fix in soon? http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=656269
