On JC solo ranked Qs been popping all morning/afternoon with very little delay (2-3 mins). No info on teams as of yet 'cause I don't have one... . Thanks bioware for adding the carrots to make this happen. Got the daily done in 7 matches pubside . Any feedback from other servers?

^ this. G13 rocks. Gaming mouse helps too (i just got one). Also found (some) use for backpedaling: being chased? Mouse around into a backpedal for a second, low slash/stun/grenade, mouse around and keep going. Also make sure to bind targeting so u don't have to click on those slippery toons! I use "tgt nearest" mostly. Same can be done for allies if guard swapping or healing in quick emergencies and ops frames are too far away.

Uckfay. I just got a new gaming mouse and I'm clumsy as hell with it looks like I'll be running dailies for a bit til I get used to it. On another note: Xinika, thinking of switching to 17/29/0 in mostly tank gear for arena tanking. what is Ur opinion? I like the dcds and defensive procs as well as dmg procs in inf tree. I'll lose my pull, face stab, slow time and spinning kick out of stealth, but think its made up for with low slash and higher single tgt dmg procs. Not trying to turn this into a sin/shade thread but thought I would ask since Ur on here thanks!

Lez do it! I was getting pub teams together to q Sunday & Monday. I'm in gen chat like, "Yo, converting wz to ranked gonna take ten years to gear! Its preseason so no wockin' furries". Got about 15-20 matches after finally getting the teams assembled and even got a few cross faction matches. It was funny 'cause both of our pug pub "teams" ended up going into matches at the same time with 2 imp teams from the same guild obvious doing the same thing (<nemesis> I've got my eyes on you:rolleyes:). Good fun, but yeah more people need to q. We all complain about lack of ranked pops but in the end its our own fault for not q'ing or even drumming it up in chat. Well, thus the purpose of this thread so I digress. Who's bringing the pizza?

Is there a visible animation so we can see when this is up (besides watching buff bar) so it can be seen when not to attack? Thus a reasonable counter of just not attacking when it is. In the frey of battle when its up goes up its hard to tell what's bringing hp up, medpack, healer, etc. Other classes have visible animations for resilience, sorc/sage god bubble, etc. And yes 30s is too long. Acually an eternity in PvP.

In a slightly related question: I'm a newer player (2 months) and started pvping about three weeks ago for my endgame fix. Have done well learning the ropes reading online guides etc. Got myself onto full conq and several obroan by converting comms. i jumped into ranked with the news and did okay with 8 wins 8 loses on pub side got to 1150 rating then yesterdy was quing solo and I kept battling the exact same imp group over and over with different team my side each match (gradual variations). the question is do they pit pugs v premades in ranked and if so why have a separate rating system if theyc gonna do that? Seems like everybody should go premade then killing solo Qs for people not in PvP guild lower the available pool for matches. PS if ranked dies again there gonna have to start allowing 3v3 2v2 & 1v1 for ranked cause converting comms is PvP NiM Compared to doing ranked matches. I was sooo pleased when ranked started popping. Thnks for replies.
