  1. Many people talk about premades and how they are so much better. Let me ask you something. Don't comment just keep reading, but think to yourself what the advantage of a premade vs pugs. The only thing you get is coordination. The biggest advantage is focus fire. Multiple people hitting one target to kill it. I have to tell you, there are built in commands for solo players. It's called focus target and target focus target's target. So follow these simple steps to bring a little focus fire to your pvp matches. 1. Find the person with the highest burst damage on your team. I like to choose snipers or mercs because they generally survive longer and have a better field of view than me as a melee class. 2. Target them then hit Alt+F 3. You'll see their portrait above so you know you did it. 4. When the fighting starts hit Ctrl+F. you'll notice you're now targeting the person they are targeting. 5. Focus fire down targets 6 ????? 7 PROFIT!
  2. Here is proof that your sorc heals aren't that amazing when a team is competent and hits the same target... nothing can save a target being focused down by competent players... This is just a 4v4... imagine if it were 8v8 and instead of 2 or 3 dps it was 4 or 5 fighting for mid... each going to the next target and burning them down 1 by 1
  3. What is better? Focus fire... I don't care what anyone says.... a full 8 second stun with 4 competent dps burning a guarded sorc healer down then switching to the tank when they go down is a recipe for success... Awful teams don't focus fire... premades do which is why they usually win. Me as a jugg and my friend Ketara as his sin can take out any combo of people because we focus and set eachother up to land big hits... **** usually we can 2v4 people pretty easillly because they dont know how to focus fire and we do..

First off, I run solo ques every once and a while and I do fine... the odds are a little more scued to say I'll win about 70% of the time compred to when I run with my friends I'll win about 90% of the time... but guess what? That's what an mmo is all about... Running and completing content with your friends.... quit crying about premades. They aren't ruining pvp... if I had to solo que every day I probably wouldn't play this game because I couldn't play with my friends. If I wanted to play a single player game, I would play Skyrim... or something much better than this. Quit ************ about premades... 50% of the posts on this forum come from people who are just salty after they got **** on by some team and now they need to go to the forums and tell everyone how game breaking it is.... Like shove off, realize that you're complaining abut unranked warzones... like LOL!!!! NEWS FLASH! THEY DON'T COUNT FOR ANYTHING!!!! If you lose on an unranked wz you get 50 less comms and have to do an extra one to get your weekly done. Get over it and stop complaining on the forums because when you do everyone will just tell you that you're a ******* anyways.
  5. Veng Jugg - Dot spread spec, quite easy to learn and master. mostly situational but basically just hit impale, scream, and shatter, spread with slam you'll hit a mil easy. Rage Jugg - One of the best DPS classes around in my opinion. very bursty, with high defensive capabilites. easy to learn and easy to use Immortal Jugg - Easy to learn difficult to master. If you go full immortal you won't have a lot of dps so killing any class that heals will be hard to do as full tank. that being said those classes will be hard pressed to kill you as wlel. Anhilation Mara very difficult to play. Took me a few hours of hitting a dummy to understand how to play. not really for a beginner new to dot spreading... but it's potential is fantastic! Carnage Mara - GREAT DPS, hard to master, gore windows etc and very counterable Fury Mara- easiest to use of the maras. easy and hard burst plus the abiliteis light up for you =D Shield Tech PT - same as immortal jugg Pyrotech PT - Another dot spread class, bad on heat if you don't maanage your resources. AP PT - very easy class to use. buttons light up, good survivablity, high speed, and and burst probably the easiset class to play in the game in my opinion. Merc I am excluding because I have never played Lightning Sorc - not hard to play if you read your utilities. lots of this procs that kind of stuff. really easy to play though. Madnesss Sorc - easies sorc class to play. high survivability, lots of self heals and lots of leeches pretty easy to use and get lots of damage. Healing Sorc easiest of the healers if you know what procs what and how to keep your fore up Darkness Sin - proc based tank compared to mitigation. you do the highest damage as a tank yet have hte lowest armor. hardest of the tanks in my opinion. Deception Sin - easy to be a good sin, hard to be a great sin. easy to learn hard to master. Hatred Sin - very easy dot spread sin class like madness. throw your dots and spread them with your slash. Concealment Operative - same as deception sin. easy to be good, hard to master. Lethality Operative - fun class, no burst damage but a great support class with off heals. you can get 500k damage plus 500k heals easy Healing Operative - hardest of hte healers i hear. but best suriviabilyt. not a lot of burst heals and hard to geet high HPS. Excluding sniper because I dont have enough experience
  6. as a jugg I LOVE IT! as a mara it's an excuse to death match all game =D
  7. do it better.... first off... you're standing too close to the pylon. stand about 30 meters away. that means when ops stun you, they waist time about 3 secs to get back to the pylon and in that time you can use a long range attack.. or... use your stun break when they go to cap the pylon and not as soon as you do it... it's not the game balance's fault... it is yours for bad play

  9. If you have a geared friend they can buy the mods/enhancments for you with extra wz comms
  10. In that case you should say make defensive stats in PvP worth something for skank tank juggs because... If I could have 82k health and do more damage and be just as survivable vs having useless stats that only work on uncritted white damage I think I'll do more damage and have just as much health.
  11. You can't blame "Balanced around PvE" because we have an expertise stat they can fiddle with which controls damage given, damage taken, and healing received

  13. It's rumored that the pvp forums aren't checked which is why I'm posting in gen. Plez Bioware! Start the ranked season! I know it pops but I want it to count! Plez! Ben Irving said he won't get into the pros and cons... but we want to know the pros and cons. We want to know what the hold up is you know? Is it a scheduling thing? Time thing? Rewards thing? Tell us all you know please =D We don't mind inconvenience... we just want to be informed you know?
  14. First off, let me say this game has a lot of positives compared to other MMOs on the market. UI, ease of use, and graphics are among them. This is a very pretty game in terms of UI and use. Most other MMOs which have been ported over... their UI is **** and smashed together. This game's combat is also actually pretty fun, and it has the Star Wars name with the apparently the freedom to do whatever they want lore wise, because Zakuul? Another empire and civilization? That's about as far off from canon as we can get seeing how after this game this war was never talked about ever. However, here is where I really think Bioware is failing.... Bioware is failing at producing repeatable content. They realized this and decided to make some quick fixes to bring back old content hoping it would hold them over till they finish the chapters, but guys it's not.... As a company and Dev team, you need to put more effort into making your content repeatable... Story mode missions won't do it! You listen to their nonsense once and you're like alright I'm done... If you're going to have that attitude might as well make this game buy to play and have it as a solo game experience... not an MMO. Consider the costs of animating all of those pretty story cinematics. Now consider this, I'm on my 3rd play though of KOTFE an I spacebar past every conversation. The fights aren't challenging, Arcann... which is supposed to be the top guy is a laughable fight... he didn't even get me below 80% when I fought him, my comp was on DPS, AFTER I tried dismissing him and failing. I never had to get the kolto containers or anything... So, the story content isn't hard, which means you just blaze through it... I think KOTFE 9 chapters will take you 5-6 hours max... The grinding to get your alliances up takes the longest part but it's not even new content besides the star fortresses which is the only repeatable content you have in the update which I found enjoyable! It was actually a big challenge for me to complete the heroic star frotress solo without any aid! However I think that is the content we want to see! Actual difficult repeatable content! You're getting it right with the new WZ and Eternal Championship! Add more to that! Think about adding more than 10 encounters as well! Think about upping the difficulty! Make this game hard so when you beat it you feel accomplished !
