  1. In the hands of a player with no hands irl, Marauders are OP.
  2. Open world pvp is nonexistant on pvp servers which is an utlimate fail. Just the basic addition of adding commendations, valor, etc for killing a player open world would start up some real open world pvp but for some reason BW won't even do that.
  3. This game will be free to play in under a year. Bioware is simply unable to balance their pvp classes and continuously run of their customers each time their "fixes" just make things worse. 1.2 was a huge mistake...on top of many other already.
  4. Everything is pretty solid, excluding Mauraders....they are ridiculously overpowered right now and flat out ruining pvp.
  5. You and everyone else. PVP was so much more strategic prepatch and everyone could live for more than two seconds. Now only marauders get that priviledge...how fun.

    Sage OP

Exactly, if you can't keep up with the flavor of the month, don't order the ice cream. MMMmmm Marauder is sooo tasty.
  7. ROFL...seriously I can drop a doughnut on my keyboard and roll people as a maurader.
  8. The real problem is that marauders can live 4/5 times longer than everyone else. In a world of pvp glass cannons, when you are given far superior defensive mitigation, you will reign supreme. Either mara defense has to be nerfed or everyone else's mitigation needs improved. PVP will be utterly broken until a balance can be reestablished. One vs. One they are unbeatable, period. I challenge any developer to take that challenge; of course, they clearly don't play the game as reflected in the current state of pvp.

    Sage OP

Yes pvp balance is severely broken currently, however sage is by far the least of the problems.
  10. The real difference is survivability. Maras/Sentinels, Pyros, and Shadows all have outstanding dps; however, maras/sentinels can live 4/5 times longer than everyone else on the battlefield. It is a game of glass cannons currently but when you add high survivability for one class, that one class will reign supreme; maras are currently unbeatable one vs one. Frankly, it is making pvp pitiful to participate in currently. When you know you cannot beat one particular class no matter what one vs one, there is no real point in pvping.
  11. ROFL....dps shadow is the toughest template currently on the republic side next to sentinel. L2P
  12. Probably because it is swing, swing, swing dead.....or because it takes 3 and 4 players to kill them. The imbalance is severely obvious. To argue against it makes you in denial or completely oblivious to what pvp is like currently..
  13. Well lets not forget, pvp balance is the worst its ever been in this game. Not a good time all around but who knows if they will ever get that right.
  14. Marauder/Sentinels are flat out ruining pvp right now. They are simply unkillable one vs one and most times it takes three on one just to put them down. It is utterly ridiculous.
  15. What crew skill crafts the augments? Where do we get the schematics?
  16. I"m looking to start crafting augments but I'm not 100% sure of the process. Can someone walk me through it real quick (what crew skills are needed, how to craft purple etc)? Appreciate any info
  17. Nope that's it....for some reason they decided that this was the main change needed to fix the mess of a pvp experience that was just created with 1.2. This just further exemplifies how clueless bioware really is and why we are in this mess to begin with.
  18. So the original armoring of each piece may have to stay to keep the set bonus, but the mod and enhancement may be changeable without effecting set bonus?
  19. So, I keep reading that set bonuses now follow the mods of the armor. If I decide that one particular mod set from one individual piece of the warhero gear set (e.g. just the boots or just the chest) I want to stack repeatedly across all pieces of the armor, will I lose the set bonus if I switch out the mods in the four other pieces? Example: I buy all five pieces of a warhero set I buy five different boots from that same warhero set I use the mods from the five pairs of boots to remod the entire suit.
  20. As I point out in another post, simply end the stun effect the plague creates. It will keep the event moving and allow others who do not participate to not be annoyed from constant stuns effecting general gameplay.
  21. Firstly, the new patch brought people back to the game, not this random roleplay event. Secondly, I"m not asking the event be ended, as I'm sure some do enjoy it. I"m asking the stun effect be taken away for others who do not wish to participate. A very simple request...
  22. Excellent, the first thing I have to do everytime I log into the game is hunt down a vaccine to negate the annoying effects of an event I have no desire to participate in. Thats sounds like a great idea.
  23. There is a significant difference between dying due to pvp, pve, progression content etc as opposed to a random virus event that creeps around the fleet in mass whether we want to participate or not.
  24. I understand Bioware is always looking to add creative content and events to TOR, and I encourage the developers to do so. However, can we please get a bit of a lid put on this rakghoul plague for players who do not wish to participate in the event. This event has become a pure gameplay annoyance and hinderance for those who do not wish to participate and is frankly adversly effecting general gameplay. I am constantly being interupted and stunned during interactions. I am knocked off vendors, the kiosks, trades, knocked out of stealth, and knocked of my bike on a consistent basis; heck, the dumb virus has even killed me a couple times while afk. The virus is also doing strange things in pvp warzones that people are exploiting. Bioware, please take away the fact this virus interupts/stuns those effected. It is a blatant hinderance to general gameplay, and I really don't want to have to pick up a serum every day to heal myself in order to play the game unhindered. The fact a virus was introduced to the game that forces players to be stunned constantly is simply a terrible idea. I wonder if there is a person in charge at Bioware whose job it is to come up with ideas to annoy it's playerbase and lose even more customers...
